Yea, I’ll see what they say. Roleplaying has really changed a lot over the years. It used to be kids just sharing pictures narrated with horrible grammar lol now it’s like a mini profession.

Aka, I was one of those kids and but I think we all grew up? Also I would say the community is still friendly, just people don’t make that many actual connections anymore imo. I used to make a lot of good friends from roleplays and now it’s a rare occasion.

Not dead though as Winch is an example of that haha

Haha, I was also one of those kids. I remember staying up all night to roleplay, teenagers don’t need sleep. I made quite a few friends back then that I still talk to today, we ended up exchanging social media and still talk quite a bit. Once I got into university though, I had less time and it kind of fell away. I have tried to join a few roleplays the last couple years but they usually never go anywhere or your characters just get ignored if you join late. I’m stuck at home with the quarantine going on so ifigured I might as well try again.

I remember how fun rpgs were when I was younger. I actually stay in touch with an old rp buddy that I’ve known since I was 11? Goodness it’s been years really lol. But I miss the old days of rps, how fun they used to be. But we all grow up and things change.

Haha, yeah I also did very similar things for sure! Minus university though and just change it to a full time job. I am also in quarantine because my older cousin was showing some signs but he seems to be better now but I still have to wait the full two weeks. Bright side, I will still be around when I go back for sure but then I won’t be able to post as much.
But yeah, it really has changed a lot but I don’t think it’s overall worse. Just.. Different. Like I enjoy being able to write more and actually think about things like character development among other things. I think a big difference is how you didn’t care how your writing looks and stuff but now it’s like “Is that the right phrasing? could I use a more intricate word? Oh crap, I forgot/messed a word! Now I wanna sink into the ground and disappear” At least for me, I definitely care about how it looks and read.

I’m definitely the same way if I think my writing is off in some way. Kind of ocd about it lol. I’ll look back at old rps and notice the changes from then to now but my ocd sometimes kicks in and I’ll have to rewrite everything all over again v_v

No that was me realizing I'd got distracted by reading, gone to respond and then realized Nisha has and two tags and not a Tags + Mentions. Something that apparently either no one else noticed, or they noticed and decided it was too funny and didn't tell me. So I'm mentally preparing to slap you all with narwhales.
