Deavon flew down next to another bird. “Hello how are you?” The hawk asked. The bird was an Eastern Osprey. He could just tell somehow. He grasped a fish from the sea with one swift move of his beak.

She blinked her eyes open at the rising sun and yawned.
She looked over at Flurry and then back to the forest. The sun was rising over the trees and the sky was tinted red.

Flurry - Snowy Owl - Tags: Clover

Flurry watched as the sky turned from red to blue. She looked down from her branch at the eagle below. “ Good morning Clover” she cooed sofftly. There was a shooting star last night. It lasted almost half an hour, and she watched all of it. It’s so nice to have someone to talk too and help me she thought with a smile.

She turned her head towards Flurry as she spoke. "Good Morning" she said and turned to her oil gland. She preened her long golden wing feathers and then her tail feathers. After she turned to Flurry, "Should we go hunt?"

She yawned and smiled at Clover, " Sure!" She said excitedly. The sun was still rising, and she could hear the caws and clucks of other birds in the Sanctuary.

She leaped off the branch, shaking it, and glided over the forest. Her eyes caught a small vole and she moved towards it silently. The vole had its back turned and was nibbling on something. She lowered her legs and dropped down onto it. It saw her and zipped towards a trees tangle of roots. Her claw snagged on the voles fur and she flicked it back over to her. She killed it and gulped it down, wondering if Flurry had caught anything.

Flurry lept off the branch and glided to the river below the pine tree. She landed on a rock and looked around. There was Salmon and trout in the river. " But which one?" She murmured " A salmon flopped onto the shore and She quickly grabbed it and lifted it into the air. It was deprived of air and died in a few seconds. She flew back to the tree and saw that Clover had caught a vole. She could see her down the river aways, and Flurry turned away. She began to pick at the Fish carefully, leaving some for clover if she wanted any.

She leaped up if the ground after her meal and flapped furiously to stay in the air. She caught a warm air current upwards and looked for Flurry. She spotted her back up in the tree and she caught a different warmer air current up towards the nest.
"Catch anything?" She asked

Flurry patted the large salmon with her claw. “ Not a bad catch for a one legged owl” she smirked. “ here, we can share, there’s no way I can eat all this by myself!” She said happily, and tore off a piece of meat.

"That vole didn't completely fill me up" Clover grinned.
She bent her head down and took a chunk out of the salmon. The flavour was overwhelming and she closed her eyes. "I've never tried fish," she said taking a breath "It tastes amazing" she bent her head down and swallowed more of the tender fish.
