Cloudfoot whimpered as the young Driftwind scampered to his side and attempted to remove the snow and rocks that had fallen on him, "Thanks Driftwind," he muttered. He felt the rock move as Driftwind tried to push it aside. The tom managed to whip out his bloodied tail from under the rock, but his back leg remained crushed. Cloudfoot stared at his leg in dismay, groaning from the pain. "I'll need more help," he huffed, his breathing labored from the weight of the rocks.

Pinepaw, relieved to see Spottedpaw, turned and ran his way to safety with the group. The apprentice managed to find a tall rock at a relatively safe distance from the avalanche to take refuge. He crouched behind the rock and tightly closed his eyes, whimpering and shivering, hoping that it would shield him from any snow or rocks. Pinepaw couldn't tell if the other cats were with him but he felt too scared to move away from his hiding place. He lowered his head close to the ground, covering his head with his paws defensively as the avalanche continued to fall.

Perking his ears at his leader's yell, he jumped up and ran to them, his tail between his legs as he ran around rocks and falling snow. He soon stopped besides Willowshine and gently nudged her back, him being bigger as he used his body to block as much snow as he could and dig frantically. as the snow settled he shook his pelt roughly and reared onto his hind paws, slamming his paws into the snow and pushing and shoving as much of it as he could.

Blizzardclaw had only saw Spottedpaw with Ripplefang for only a few moments before the snow had separated him from his family. He had heard Cloudfoot's cry for help and sighed, figures he would get lucky for the tom to be with him and headed over to them. The tom didn't greet him at all, he just went to immediately help get the rock off the deputy. He didn't want to fight anymore, they had to find the others whether it meant the two of them working together or not. "Driftwood I have this, look for the others - we need something to stop his tail from the bleeding."

Spottedpaw had saw Ripplefang moments before the snow had reached them and sighed as it settled. She was surprised at how her mentor had tried to protect her, she just hoped that Ripplefang was alright. Before she had a chance to ask she noticed they had been separated from Blizzardclaw and Tinymask, whining softly. "Are they going to be alright?" She whimpered and curled up against Ripplefang. Hollycloud was too focus on running away to see that she had gotten separated from her sister until she went to look at her and whimpered. She didn't like the idea of the two being separated, they never had been before now and even when she had gotten ill once Driftwood had stayed by her side in the medicine cat den despite Splashfeather's wishes. "Driftwood?" She called out as she quickly climbed up a tree to see who was around her.

Snowpetal had heard Jaggedpaw's cry out for Mousewing and quickly headed over to the young cat once she got herself out of the snow. "Jaggedpaw are you alright?" She hadn't been close to Jaggedpaw in moons since the both of them had left the nursery but she had a special place for them in her heart.

Huffing slightly in annoyance in response to Rockhopper nudging them away, Willowshine moved around to be in front of him, helping him dig. Their paws burned from the icy cold of the snow, but despite this, they kept going, ignoring the numbness from the cold creeping up their paws, "I think I see her!" They announced to the tom after a while of digging, squinting a bit and seeing a strip of their leader's fur in the snow. Despite this, dread was beginning to sink into their belly as they continued to dig, hoping that Littlestar was ok.

Mousewing clawed at the snow around her until she was finally able to pull herself free. Her legs didn't feel broken, but they were still very painful and she struggled to stand. Her mind raced with bad thoughts. Jaggedpaw. She had to find Jaggedpaw. She scrambled through the snow calling out to them desperately. She passed by Rockhopper and Willowshine who were frantically digging. "Jaggedpaw!!" she cried out one final time as her legs gave out underneath her and she collapsed.

Foxtail heard the yowls of his clanmates before he noticed the huge wall of snow approaching them. He struggled to see a way out in the midst of all the scattering cats. Finally, he saw Hawkpaw and Tempestpaw struggling to get up a nearby tree and sprinted to join them. He perched on a branch just below Hawkpaw and stood with his eyes wide in shock as adrenaline continued to rush through his body and the gravity of the situation began to hit him.

Once the two were safely out of the way from the falling snow and rock, SplashFeather stopped to catch her breath and she glanced over at LightningFeather before back at the avalanche. She felt fear build up inside of her, she wanted to know if all her clanmates were safe but she was only one cat and going back to find any stragglers would put herself in danger "I hope everyone managed to get to safety" She spoke, frowning slightly.

She didn't have much time to search for TempestPaw when she noticed she wasn't out of harms way and she left out of the way of falling snow. She scanned the area for any place that would be safe and caught sight of HollyCloud in a tree. She decided that might be the best place to head and she began running towards the tree.

HawkPaw had just barely heard TempestPaw as panic was surging through him and without much thought, his paws were carrying him in a random direction. Luckily, he snapped out of it when he heard the she-cat and he turned to look up at her. He quickly turned and ran to the tree before beginning to climb. He slipped a couple of times due to him trying to climb frantically and he was having some difficulty due to his missing front leg. He managed to get up onto a high branch "Thanks" He spoke, panting quietly.
He caught sight of FoxTail running and a soft sigh of relief escaped him when the warrior joined them up in the tree. He then scanned the area for any of his other clanmates "Do you think everyone is okay?" He questioned though he knew that probability is slim.

He hissed at the could but kept digging."I-i think i can ge-get her." he mumbled before plunging his head down and grepping onto the bit of fur that was showing. his paws slipped slightly in the snow as he grunted and jerked his head back, too desperate to free the she cat to be careful. jerking his head around, he finaly pulled the she-cat free and dropped her onto the snow next to Willowshine

He run as fast as he could figuring a safe place to go to, his eyes looking down the tree, but with a kit, it could be too dangerous. He did know that the movements could little bit hurt the kit too, but better to being hurt than dead, looking still around feeling the snow approving him faster and faster or was he running slower. When he suddenly saw a boulder near him, he jumped into it trying to get out of the falling snows way, he got the kit to the top of it when something from the avalanche hit his leg and almost made him fall in down, but he managed to keep his balance of the boulder, taking himself top of it as well. Taking a breath he looked at the kit then back at him, seeing a blood trail behind him 'crap' he thought looking at his other back leg which had a deep wound on it and some part of the bark of the tree which hitted it.

She runs out of the avalanche, getting out of its way. When she thought that she was not followed anymore she stopped running turning back to take a shocking breath "Snowpetal? Willowshine? Tempestpaw? Hawkpaw?" she called out but her voice was so shaking that she could not meow loud, or was that even wise now.

She looked as the Hawkpaw successfully climbed to the tree, with her "you welcome" she meowed digging her claws into the branch when the snow under little shook it "I hope the tree stands and not fall down" she meowed looking the fast-moving snow, not seeing any of her clanmates before saw Foxtail getting into the tree as well "where is the others?" she asked at him.

She jumps to a large rock to hide the avalanche, but noticed that the snow was falling for the other way there "poor two legs it's going their way" she meowed mostly to herself seeing the two legs dens roof to the distance, next to a little hill, if the snow goes all the way there the two legs homes will be in danger. She took a deep breath to calm herself a little bit more "I am not so sure about that...there maybe dead cats too" she meowed to her.

Littlestar's ears perked up at the sound of a familiar voice and thought that it sounded like Willowshine. Perhaps it was them? "I'm down here!" she called back meekly and coughed. A strong cat took her by the scruff and released her from the snowy prison, dropping her gently onto the ground. Littlestar wheezed and blinked in the sudden light, murmuring, "Thank you..."

They calmed down slightly at a familiar scent and touch, glancing up at Snowpetal. "I'm okay... but what about Mousewing? Is she okay?" The queen even accepted them when they came out, and Jaggedpaw was very grateful for that. Snowpetal was also one of the she-cats that they confided in when Brokenflower passed away.
