The hog roared and reared up as one of the people stumbled over her thick back, but her tusks met only air as she thrust her head back. "HRNGHHH!" She flipped around, but there was no one behind her. Angry eyes glared up, expecting someone to be there, but only a small bird hovered near the flaming tree.
Eh..? the human thought crossed her mind. The pig that had once been Katrina circled, taking in the area. A girl human exclaimed something in their language-something like, "Caramel oo-man shape sheefht!".

"uhh...nice warthog..erm..ah...I'm just gonna go that way now..hehe" Arctic said nevously as she tired to slip past the warthog witout it skewering her.

Mikey ran up... a little late like usual... man was he a slow runner or what?! "Wow! What the heck? Is that Carmen? Arct- WOW A WARTHOG!" he was lightly confused but was graspping the situation quickly. Wait if this... burning warthog(?) looks kind of human... and I can turn into a... no I'm NOT thinking about that... and Carmen can turn into a songbird... does that mean this warthog is like us? That would explain the fire... Mabey... He thought as he leaned down next to the warthog "Umm... excuse me Ms./Mr. Warthog? Would you please put the fire out? Its hurting some of my friends..." Man I feel stupid, he thougth standing up.

Jamai followed the girl, for this time, she really had heard the snap. She stopped as soon as she saw it. There was nothing Jamai thought she could do. She just stood there, staring. Then she watched, amazed as the girl she had followed tripped going to some other girl and turned into a bird. She brushed her hair and realized that there was no arm, just a dark shadow. When she looked down, she found that her whole body was one with the shadow of the tree she was standing under. "Oh my God!" she exclaimed.

"please Mr/Mrs warthog please do not skewer me on one of you very pointy tusks please," Arctic wimpered for the warthog was blocking only way out of the burnnig nightmare. Wow wasn't her day just going great!

"Haha, I guess we aren;t warthog whisperers!" Mikey said rather entusiasticaly to arctic. He looked back at the warthog "Now,don't skewer anyone or I'll skewer you." he said holding up his hand to were the animal could clearly see the electricity zapping across it.

"Hey," shadow-Jamai, crossed the ground a little ways from the fire, "leave her alone!"

Arctic whipped around did the shadow talk? Great. Now she was going crazy. That was making her day so much better.

Katrina turned as someone-a boy knelt beside her. She didn't trust him, but let him calm her for a moment. Then a chilling, slippery voice lapped at her ears, and her anger flared up again. Her head flipped around to face the girl, accidentally barrelling the poor boy over who suddenly had electric hands. "Hufff... huff... rrrghhh..." Her sides heaved and hoof scraped the ground threateningly. Another strangely familiar voice came from somewhere beside the girl, like every other person in the very strange scene, but her hatred was directed to the apparent girl. Her eyes tracked the person's movements, studying for a sign of attack.

"AHH!" Mikey yelled as the warthog ran into him. "Well it wasn't skewering anyone..." He looked up at Arctic "And don't hurt who? Is the warthog a girl or something?"
