Kat had given into the looming curiosity and had set off after the group. Finally, after awhile of searching and tracking, she was crouched in a tree, eyes flickering like flames as the sun reflected sharply off of them, as though flinching from their heat. She leaned forward a bit, trying to get a better view through the branches. A crackling noise erupted from beneath her, followed by the strong smell of smoke. The girl glanced down. Her fingers were engulfed with dancing flames, involuntarily producing fire. It was steadily munching away at the branch, crawling toward the trunk and making heart-shaped once fresh-green leaves curl and turn black. Katrina froze. Maybe if I jumped to that other tree's branch-
SNAP!
In a weird reddish fury, she morphed from a human figure to a large pig while falling to ground in an awkward heap. "Mrnhhhh..." the pig groaned.

[Singularity]

Arctic steeled herself. "ahh, nah just a bad head ache. Thats all," Arctic said brushing it off but there was a slight tightness still to her voice. Then she heard a crash outside. "What was that?!" she said suprised to Mikey.

Lilysong

[Muhahahahahahahaha]

"Ok, good... and I don't know. Do you wanna go check it out?" he asked very curious and suprised himself.

[Singularity]

"Yeah!" she replied and got up. Then Arctic ran to the woods out side.

Lilysong

[Muhahahahahahahaha]

"H-hey! Wait for me!" Mikey called running after her.

Carmen flipped her head around.
"Over there...come with me!" She called over her shoulder, already running towards the source of the noise. When she found it, she was very surprised indeed.
A warthog laying in front of a burning tree. For a moment, all Carmen could do was stare...
"Uh oh..." even though it was just the one, it could have started a forest fire if not taken care of...and Carmen guessed nobody would blame the warthog.

[Singularity]

Arctic looked back behind her and laughed cheerfully when she saw Mikey come out of the door shouting at her t slow down. She couln't help it but she smiled and felt very happy for about two seconds until she:
a) Tripped over a warthog
b) Smashed into a burning tree

The warthog-or, err... Kat-snorted and struggled to stand, knees knocking. It shook it's thick, loose skin and stood static, daring one of the creatures to come forward. It's eyes looked red in the fire's light-or was it their natural color? The hog snuffled and thrust up it's hairy, wrinkled chin.

Carmen stared at it. Was it just her, or was there something about this warthog that seemed...human?
No, it was a ridiculous idea, which she dismissed at once. She turned to Arctic, who had seemingly come out of nowhere.
"Are you okay...?"she asked, but then shook her head.
"Ah, sorry, of course you aren't...!" her voice became louder at the end of the statement, as she got over her state of shock and realized that Arctic had smashed into the burning tree. Without thinking, she rushed forward to help.
Bad idea.
She tripped over the warthog.
In her state of panic, she felt herself...in some odd way, change...
And fly upwards.
Carmen heard her own panicked voice, yet something sounded wrong.
Inhuman.
Just like...a songbird?
Soaring in the air, above the tree, she glanced down at herself- and screamed-well, screeched.
She had turned into a bird.

"drr...OMG fire!" Arctic screamed and leaped up to see Carmen turn into a song bird. Was she still dreaming? Was that warthogs eyes burning? had Mikey tripped over the warthog? All important questions. "Carmen you can shapes shift!" Arctic yelled in amazement.
