Part One


I stroked my little bunny friend, worrying. I tried to call him a million times, but he never picked up. It rang and rang, and when I finally thought he was going to pick up, it hung up on me. I texted him and told him to meet me in the meadow. I ran to him once he appeared from over the rolling hills. He picked me up and spun me around, and I stood there, laughing. "Ryan!" I said. "I was so worried about you." He shook his head, kissing my forehead. "No, Scarlet. Dont be worried; Ill always show up." I cocked my head, landing on my feet once again. "But.. Why didnt you pick up when I tried to call?" I asked. He hugs me tightly. "Dead battery. Charger cord is broken." He said. "Stuck under car wheel." We shared a sweet, fun laugh. I noticed Ryan was now carrying a basket with grass and a bottle of green liquid in it. He grabbed a bone in his mouth, flipped his hood over, and on his glasses went. "What's this?" I asked, gesturing to everything surrounding him. "Oh. Ya' know, babe! Im a sled dog. I have priorities and duties. I gotta go to Alaska, some guy is sick really badly and he's infecting alot of people. They ran out of medicine. Only ten people are infected, and they only need one shot per person, so they ordered 10 bottles. They knew sometime they'd need more, so they're gonna have extra." He said. I nodded understandingly.
"Will you be okay?" I asked. He nodded, hugging me. "Yes, of course I will, Scarlet. Dont worry about lil' old me." He laughed. I hesitated to laugh - But I did laugh - Akwardly and worriedly, though. He promised and assured me he'd be okay, so I let him set off. I trailed after him to his "owner's" (or sled master's) truck, and jumped up at the end as he was gestured into the back. "Repeat after me," I said. Ryan nodded. "I, Ryan," He smiled. "I, Ryan," He repeated. "Promise Ill stay out of trouble and always think of Scarlet, and not get hurt and be careful." I said. He repeated that, and we were ready. I made him promise one more time; I dont want him to get hurt. "Scarlet, I promise. Ill be fine." He said.

Estrelles [F] -------------------------- [M] Corrent

The man approached on silent feet. His gun was poised at his shoulder, and his eye grazing the forest for the two canines he had spotted. One he had caught previously, and...it hadn't ended well. He had gotten a scratch, and she had lost most of her tail. The other was her companion. He closed one eye as a brown spot caught his attention. He pulled the trigger and the bullet soared at the form. It hit the wolf with precision. A cry of pain echoed through the valley. The hunter smirked and ran toward the she-wolf.
Estrelle lay on the bracken, her side bleeding fiercely. She looked up at her travelling partner with sorrow in her eyes. She closed them and pushed him on with what remained of her tail, or at least tried. The gray wolf stumbled backward with shock, "Estrelle...No...This can't happen...We were supposed to make it..." he whispered, tears brimming in his deep blue eyes. Estrelle opened her eyes and growled quietly, "Sometimes things don't turn out as planned." she grunted through pain. Corrent's word caught in his throat, "But-" "Corrent, come closer..." Estrelle stuttered, her own green eyes filling with tears. He bent down and touched his nose to her's. "I've had the time of my life with you, Corrent..." she whispered, "We did make it...I'm almost free...but you-" a cough racked her brown and black body, blood pouring from her mouth, "-You haven't." She licked his nose, "We'll meet again." she promised, her eyes closing again and a last breath escaping her.

So what do you guys think...? It's my first story on this topic.

Corrent's eyes spilled over and he turned, his eyes closed firmly. He left his friend there, feeling guilt fall upon him. A lump formed in his throat and he groaned. He tried not look back as he started to run, but he needed that last glimpse of his friend. There she lay, her brown pelt matted with blood and her eyes closed and her tiny tail limp. He let out a sharp breath and looked strait ahead. He skidded to a halt. He lowered his head and whipped around. He could see the hunter approaching Estrelle's limp body. He knew that going onward was the right thing to do, to follow Estrelle's journey was right. So he did. He turned and ran, the night falling around him. He bit back howls of sorrow.

So what do you guys think...? It's my first story on this topic.

"You're very pretty." The young pup stared up at the Butterfly wolf, giving her a very puppy like grin.
Cali rolled her eyes, she had found this pup in the forest and decided to feed him. "Are you hitting on me?"
She waited for him to answer but he just kept on smiling up at her. Who knew a young pup like him would be so frustrating. "How about you come find me in three years and we'll see if you still think I'm pretty."
"Promise?" The pup had said with confidence.
Cali sighed. "Yeah promise."
The pup smiled up at her one last time. "Remember our promise, cause in three years I'll find you." Before she could answer him he turned and ran off.
Cali sighed again quickly forgetting about the young pup and his weird promise.
