Manestar looked up and saw Lilacfrost with the pain in her eyes. He got Mapleshadow to the medicine cat den and walked over to Lilacfrost. "I'm sorry," he began, head hanging like he was a naughty kit being punished.

Mapleshadow pads into the medicine cat's den and lays down. She falls asleep almost instantly.

(do we even HAVE a medicine cat?)
