(@girl i-, No problem! This rp moves fast and even I have trouble catching up sometimes lol, there's no rush)
"Let's see..." After a quick scan of the camp, Sunflare saw that there was nobody up and about, but perhaps there were still cats asleep in their dens. He checked the warriors' den first, then the apprentices' den, only to find them both empty as well. Dumbfounded, Sunflare returned to Cedartail. "It looks like everyone else was already sent out on patrol." That left two queens, Beestar and Creamflower, and their kits alone in camp. And Sunflare didn't feel comfortable leaving them alone. "Maybe we should ask Beestar if she still wants us to go out...We don't want to leave the camp unguarded. Come on." Flicking his tail for Cedartail to follow, he made his way to Beestar, who was sitting just outside her den, and dipped his head to her. "Good morning, Beestar. Cedartail and I were going to go out hunting--Blizzardclaw told us to, right?" he paused to ask Cedartail before turning back to Beestar. "But there's nobody in camp. I didn't even see Robinwind or Ivypaw when I passed by the medicine den. Should we wait here until the others get back?"
(There is literally not a single cat left in OakClan's camp besides Cedar, Sun, Bee, Cream, and the kits lol)
Dustkit let out another mewl as Creamflower gently nosed her off of Poppykit, but it soon turned into a purr as the queen began grooming her. Her gaze traveled from her brother to her mother to the mouse she was eating, and then to her mother's tail. Eyes widening a bit, she crawled towards the long, furry thing and sniffed it tentatively.
Riverstripe nodded slowly. "I understand," he murmured, but he didn't know what else to say. He didn't know why these bad things were happening, nor did he know how to stop them, although he wished he did. All he could do was follow in silence as Blizzardclaw led them along the border.
Splashfeather nodded, although she looked uncertain. The recent deaths of her clanmates had left her, as well as all her clanmates, anxious and unsettled, and Bearpaw's disappearance worried her even if she didn't want to let it show. She nearly bumped into Tigerblaze when he stopped all of a sudden. "What is it?" she asked, looking at him.
Tigerblaze ignored the two younger cats' conversation as he padded onward, his mouth open to detect even the faintest trace of Bearpaw's scent. Then, without warning, he halted. "We're going in the wrong direction," he hissed, turning around and trekking past Splashfeather. His tail lashed once in frustration. He knew it made sense to cover as much ground as possible, but everything told him that he was going the wrong way. This was the problem with not being in control; he was expected to listen to the advice and orders of those above him or even of equal rank, when he knew better, and it ultimately resulted in him wasting his time and energy.

"It helps to have a thick pelt, even if it's not that long," Southstar purred in response as he settled down again next to his deputy. "How are you feeling? Any better?"
Littleflower smiled warmly at Quiverheart. "I'm sure we will, too," she mewed before nodding at Mistflower's words. "That would be good. With four of us hunting, we should be able to bring back a decent amount." As the lake came into view, she tapped Quiverheart's flank with her tail. "Do you want to try fishing, or hunting land-prey first?"
"Good morning!" Nightwish greeted the other two cats as they all joined together. As they began to head out, she shot a glance at Blazepaw, who had taken up the rear of the patrol, and slowed down a bit so that she walked alongside him. "Hey, Blazepaw," she mewed a bit more gently, a small smile on her face. She knew the apprentice was still recovering from the recent loss of his mentor, and she wanted to reach out to him. "How are you?"
Deertail's words caught Darkpaw off guard and made him feel violated, as if someone were looking straight into his heart. He wanted to say something back, to tell Deertail that he had it all wrong, but he felt paralyzed, and he was afraid to turn back around for fear of what more his expression might reveal to his mentor. He had always been the subtle, passive-aggressive type, never one to outright reveal how he was feeling--or so he'd thought. But now Deertail made him question just how subtle he actually was. He thinks he knows me so well. His claws curled into the snow. Maybe he does, a smaller voice inside him admitted, or maybe I'm just more see-through than I thought. But whatever the case, what right did the warrior have to make such assumptions on how his apprentice was feeling? What if there really was nothing more going on than Darkpaw simply wishing to go out with Goldenrose, and Deertail was making a big deal out of nothing, drawing attention to a deeper problem that didn't exist? Had he given his mentor enough reason to be sure that wasn't the case? Am I really that transparent? The thought bothered him like ants crawling through his pelt. Any other cat would have thought his mentor was doing the right thing by directly addressing any problem he thought there was, but he hated it. He hated that Deertail felt confident enough to openly call him out the way he had, but more than that, he hated that the tom was bringing to light what Darkpaw wanted to remain in the dark. It humiliated him, even if there was no one else around to witness it. For a moment he sat there, still faced away, but finally he rose to his paws and joined his mentor by the camp entrance. He was silent at first, but he knew he couldn't let the silence sit too long, or else that would only confirm his mentor's suspicions. "You're wrong, you know," he began slowly. "About everything."
