Silentstar flicked his tail over Fogpaw's shoulder, then turned to face her properly. "Have patience. That’s a part of being a Warrior. There’s your first lesson. Your mentor will be announced in a matter of minutes," he assured her.

Fogpaw skidded to a halt and blushed furiously. She squeaked out a sorry and dipped her head once again to the two cats. “I suppose I’ll wait! Thank you thank you thank you!” Fogpaw flicked her tail in delight and returned to the pine tree, sitting under it and gazing at the Clan as if to determine who her mentor was going to be.

(It’s nighttime here! Been a pleasure roleplaying for today and I will return tomorrow <3 thank you guys for making it possible! And sorry for cutting this off and a slightly terrible time!)

Silentstar nodded to the young white she-cat as she bounced off in her excitement. It’d been a long time since he himself had had such energy, but it brought back fond memories. Memories he thought he might have otherwise forgotten.

Jumppaw laughed at the excitement waves pouring off Finchpaw. "Mentors have to be annointed soon, as well as the Deputy. It is almost moonhigh." He commented, glancing up at the sky.

She chuckled softly as Fogpaw was blurting out questions. Her brain was trying to keep up. She was glad Silentstar stepped in and took over. It seemed Fogpaw was completely unaware that she was to be her mentor. What if I can't keep up with Fogpaw? Or what if I'm not good enough? What if Fogpaw didn't want her to be her mentor? Doubts began to eat at her. She shook her head is disdain and cleared her thoughts. "I am sure you can wait a few more minutes, right?" She asked, fondly.

Fogpaw seemed to be on the verge of exploding. Yet she kept still and answered with an exited "Of course I can!" Fogpaw purred with contentment. She curled her fluffy tail over her back and her ears flicked back and forth as she padded to the old pine tree. The slipped quietly under the needles and settled down. Fogpaw narrowed her eyes at the Clan, as if attempting to decipher who her mentor was going to be.

(It's now morning, I'll be more active than I was before. I still have school to do but I'll hopefully be able to respond quicker!)

Wolfsong

Wolfsong emerged from the medicine den, finally finished with sorting what remained of her gathered herbs. She looked around the camp to see apprentices chatting and warriors discussing patrols. She blinked twice and flicked her ears. Wolfsong padded through the camp to her favorite sun spot, sitting down and beginning to wash herself. Goodness, it's sure been quiet lately. Sometimes I wish I had something to do.. maybe even an apprentice. But then, all the apprentices wish to be Warriors. Which is perfectly okay! Wolfsong thought a bit ruefully. However, it was fine. She kind of liked the quiet in the medicine den, and she was happy there were only a few minor injuries. SwiftClan and SilentClan hadn’t had a tooth-and-claw battle for a little while. All for peaceful for now. She paused in bathing herself, then continued, watching the apprentices laugh.

The young she-cat seemed to have already run off by the time either Silentstar or Fallenstone could speak. "A little bundle of energy, that one."

"Yes, she is." She purred in content. "She will keep me on my toes for sure!" She joked around. Glancing at Fogpaw shivering in excitement. "I think she will be a quick hunter. " She commented. She turned away from Fogpaw and Faced Silentstar. "When were you planning to announce the ceremony?" She asked, becoming a little impatient herself.

"We should go over there and ask them." He commented, glancing over at Swiftstar. He two was eager to become a proper apprentice.

"As soon as I have your confirmation that you think you can take her on, as she is currently our only apprentice, formerly mentored by our old deputy, she needed time to process, and now..." he smiled softly. "I’m of the mind you’re both ready to take each other as mentor and apprentice respectively."

She sat down and looked at the Clan Leader straight in his eyes. "I will mentor her to the best of my ability, and It will be an honour to take her on as my apprentice." She vowed, slightly smiling.

"Very well. Then I shall make the announcement now." Silentstar turned and jumped up onto a long, flat rock about a foot and a half off the ground. Not large in general, but large enough by cat standards. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather around the FlatStone for a Clan meeting!"
