ill be hosting a theme round! for this round, every cat is named after an animal and
can shapeshift into that animal. it has to be an animal that a thunderclan cat could
reasonably know, but otherwise there aren't that serious of restrictions.

theres a couple people who need to fix their characters up to fit the theme, but
otherwise we're pretty much good to go. i'll keep forms open until 2 pm cst today.

owlstrike felt a paw prod at him. he opened his eyes groggily and sat up. “huh,
what’s going on?” “shh. follow me.” was all the cat who’d awoken him said in
response.owlstrike seemed concerned, but obliged. the cat stayed ahead of him
as they left the camp, but after a brief period of silence, he picked up his pace
and caught up to them. “are you alright? what’s going on?” the cat
continued to walk, staring ahead with a determined yet glassy look in their eyes.
“you’ll understand when we get there. just keep going. i don’t want to wake
anyone in camp.”
owlstrike’s brow furrowed in concern, but he held his tongue and continued to
follow them.
finally, they reached a clearing far from camp and the cat sat down.
owlstrike sat down as well. they still seemed to have that strange, far-off look
in their eyes.
he tilted his head. “are you sure you’re alright? you don’t look so well. did
something happen?”
wordlessly, they shapeshifted, and before he could process what was happening,
he felt sharp claws slash at his throat. he instinctively raised one of his forepaws
to the bleeding wound, and they ran into his other leg, knocking him off balance.
he grimaced and coughed up blood. “wh- why…” he couldn’t find the right words
to say. he shapeshifted, but it seemed his leg had been hurt pretty badly in the
fall, and the injury transferred to his wing, leaving him unable to fly. he flapped
his wings a couple of times, but to no avail.
they came at him again, this time biting down on his throat. he shook his head,
and even tried turning back into a cat, but their grip remained firm. a few
heartbeats longer, and he stopped struggling and fell limp.
they dropped him and went back to camp.

there's been a murder, thunderclan! what will you do?
(sorry the kill took a while, ive been surprisingly busy and i lost
motivation for a sec bc i accidentally refreshed the page on my
first draft.)

Dovepaw blinked awake, glancing around at her siblings. Seeing them still asleep, she crept out of the apprentice den, blinking again in the dim sunlight. Noticing she was on of the first ones up, she sat down,and started to groom her fur, waiting for Cardinalflight to call for her, so they could train. Thinking about the quit, she wondered what her parents where up to, surprised Cottonstar wasn't up yet, but shrugged. I'll go see if Dad's up she thought, walking over to the warriors den, and poking her head in. Frowning when she noticed Owlstrike's scent was stale, her tail flicked. "I'll mention it later,'" she mumbled to herself, before allowing herself to lay in the sunlight to wait for others to wake up.
