Lionstar backed away from Mudsplash and Vixenbite. He decided to give himself some excersize and go on a quick walk to try and strengthen up his bum leg. He limped out of the camp and out into the pine forest a particular spot in his mind.

Snowpetal purred softly, she didn't realize that the tom felt that way like how she did. She could see why he choose to eat it more than other cats as it was a good for larger cats while she personally enjoyed the taste though she choose not to have it nearly as much as some others. She always tried to make Icepaw have some when she was younger as she wanted her to be strong. "Sounds like we'll have to get quite a lot then. Though she also did just want it to be the two of them, it wouldn't be much of a patrol then as it was only two cats going.

The young she-cat smiled as she listened to Darkflower and Southwind defend her to Jaywing but she was sure her mentor would take Jaywing's side. She wanted to thank them but she didn't even want to speak anymore as she could easily just keep getting in trouble. However she would thank them later after they would be done dealing with the loner. Though it seemed like Jaywing wouldn't just end it, he always seemed quite harsh even to his fellow warriors. She was a bit taken back to hearing him snap back at Darkflower just because she had defended her. Which honestly made her feel more guilty and made her look at Southwind then her own paws.

As she hunted the squirrel she noticed the quick figure of Redfeather looking at her for a moment not really minding about him, but it made her wonder if the tom trusted her or not. Thus was her first time being a patrol leader, so she understands that most of the cats on this patrol were unsure about her leadership skills, even she didn't really like the position, but as long it was hunting she didn't care.

He didn't say anything any longer just focused the scent around them, the forest smelled to their clanmates, nothing special except the young stranger cat who was taken to the camp. He ignored that smell as he knew where the loner was and the other was near the borders battling with his clanmates, he kind of ignored it as well for now.

He silently nodded to his mentor "Yes, I hoped to get after the rabbit, my legs want to chase something anyways" he meowed rather emotionless, but the thought of rabbit made his excited. Maybe catching the long-eared fast legged prey animal, could be the thing which could make him a warrior soon. He stopped to sniff the air, ignoring the shrew and anything else just focusing to find the rabbit, when he got the trail on it, he started to follow it carefully and slowly at first.

The tom decided to take a rest while he waited for the rest of the patrol to return. He settled down, his eyes going towards the Twolegplace. The dog was still tied up, though it had spotted him, and was barking like mad. His ears flattened as he slunk back into the underbrush, just before a Twoleg emerged. It said something to the dog in a harsh tone before going back inside of its den. The dog went quiet, looking crestfallen, and the tom's whiskers twitched with amusement. Serves it right, barking like that!

S t o r m e y e moved up beside Leafwillow. "You don't look like you were too keen on the idea of patrolling," the thin tabby said, glancing curiously at him. "Something wrong?" He didn't know the tom well - or any other cat in the Clan, but he wanted to. He wanted to become close to all of the warriors of his new home, he wanted to build a life here.
When the patrol split up, Stormeye couldn't help but linger near the Twolegplace. He padded along, closer to where the scorched earth marked the ground. He couldn't scent any nearby cats. Deciding not to wait to see if Creekpaw would, by chance, be on a border patrol, the tom headed back into the pines. He padded along the forest floor. He preferred hunting nearer to the peak, enjoying the open wind on his pelt and the clear view of the sky and soaring birds of prey, but he wanted to please his new Clan more than anything. Even here, he was already much higher up on the mountain that he would have been on PineClan's territory. More birds roamed here - and to his delight, he spotted one. A large, fat crow was flapping to and fro on the ground, and he dropped into a crouch. Creeping forward as stealthily as possible, he saw his chance. The wind was in his favor and the bird was distracted, pecking at some bug or seed on the ground. Stormeye leaped, his claws connecting to feathers and pinning the crow to the ground. He killed it and gazed at his prey with pride - the crow was big and fat, it was a worthy catch. He purred in delight as he scraped earth over it.

J a y w i n g glowered at Darkflower as Kestrelclaw broke them up. The only cat in the Clan who could match his tongue step by step, Darkflower had always been a bit of a challenge for him to silence with a sharp word or to return slander to. Still, she'd always been the most likely to agree with his blunt, tactless comments, as she recognized that they were correct, despite his rude way of saying it. Casually cool in the name of being honest, like him, she'd earned his respect, but was still just as much at the mercy of his tongue as any other cat in the Clan. Finally, the tom broke eye contact and turned away, moving to stand nearly right beside Swiftstep, looking as if he wanted to interact with the loner as well - if only to call him a crow-hearted kittypet and send him off with some scratches on his pelt.

H e r squirrel and a small vole in her jaws, Featherpaw trotted back the way she'd come. While she was tall and lanky, the queen didn't have the space in her jaws to carry much more. She headed back to the pond, noticing that the rest of the patrol was still hunting. Feathercloud and Bristlebush were around the pool, so she was careful not to disturb them as she buried her prey. Hoping that the warriors would be able to lend a paw in getting everything back to camp, she headed back into the pines, ready to hunt.

Puddlespring padded back into camp alongside Littlepaw, purring. She headed to the fresh-kill pile to set the prey down, and then looked around camp. We'll go back for some battle training in a little while."

"Have a good day!" Yewbriar mewed to Lostnight, chuckling at Blossomcloud's remark. When the warrior headed off he stretched out in the sun again. "Do you miss being a warrior much, Blossomcloud?" He asked. He did from time to time, but overall he enjoyed being retired, able to sit around and talk with everyone without much worries. It was nice to see everyone in the clan grow up as well.

Rainpaw had just finished covering her catch with pine needles when Featherpaw came back to bury her catches as well. Rainpaw couldn't help but be a little jealous at her sister's catch. She didn't say anything though, just noticing Foxcloud and Bristlebush hunting. She would just be in the way here. She stalked off again, determined to catch something bigger than a mouse this time.

Crowthorn glared at his sister as she pushed him off Flynn, then at the loner as he attempted to attack the rest of the patrol that had just arrived. "There's no reasoning with this one, Rabbitfur," he told his clanmate calmly. "Trust me, I tried. But when reason doesn't work, claws do." Shaking out his ruffled pelt, he went to stand by Birdpaw, prepared to protect the exhausted-looking apprentice if the loner tried anything.

Hawkeye flattened her ears. She never understood why cats couldn't just resolve things peacefully. Taking her place by Rabbitfur, she simply nodded in agreement with his words, not feeling the need to add to them.

Sunpaw beamed at Sparrowcall's words, pleased that she had such a nice mentor. "Thank you," she purred before nodding eagerly. "Okay!" Jumping to her paws, she began to trot off once again in search of prey, although she looked over her shoulder once or twice to make sure her mentor was keeping up.

Gingerleaf blinked in surprise when Petalstar beckoned her forward, but obediently approached her leader and the strange kit that sat near her. "Hello, Petalstar," she mewed politely, bowing her head before shooting a questioning look at the kit. "Who's this?"

Timberfoot nodded. "Go on, then," he encouraged before splitting off, leaving his apprentice to track down the rabbit while he went after the shrew. It didn't take long for him to find the tiny creature and kill it. He buried it underneath a bush, then went back the way he had come.

Darkflower let out a satisfied snort when Jaywing finally looked away, feeling as if she'd won something, although what she wasn't sure.

(Pretty much waiting on Beau's roleplayer at this point, not much more I can do with Kestrel/South/Dark.)

The tom let an annoyed huff escape his mouth and he backed away from the group, his claws still out "then you shouldn't of taken her in the first place" He spat. This instance didn't make him never want to step inside this clan's territory ever again, in fact it made him want to do the complete opposite over and over again. He rubbed the blood off his face from the scratch across his muzzle that he received during the fight.

The apprentice followed after his mentor and placed the mouse in the pile, he kept the squirrel in his mouth to give to the elders if they wanted it "S-sure do you think they'd like the squirrel?" He questioned, he wasn't sure if he should bring the squirrel or leave it and come back if the elders said they haven't eaten yet but that would mean he'd have to take another trip to the fresh kill pile. He was thrown back into reality when he heard PuddleSpring mention going battle training and he fought off a small frown that attempted to make its way to his face. He knew he would still have to do some battle training but he always was wishing it'd just disappear. He wondered if when he becomes confident enough, he wouldn't be so afraid of battling.

SwiftStep felt slightly confused when the loner stared at her but went on "Yes, this land belongs to PineClan which is marked by this border" She started, wondering if the tom hadn't even noticed the smell of the border before she added "We are very protective of our territory which is why my clanmates were acting hostile despite the fact you haven't crossed" She seemed to chose to ignore her clanmates talking.

"That sounds like a great idea, guess I need to start to practice how to sleep laying still then" He responded and laughed.

"And you shouldn't have been here in the first place," Crowthorn reminded Flynn calmly, taking a step towards him. "You and your little kit can play victim all day, but the fact is you're not the innocent ones, and no one thinks you are. You think just because you're a tom all out on his own, trying to care for his poor little kit, that you can get away with whatever you want, don't you? You think rules don't apply to you, because you've decided they don't. You've chosen a lawless lifestyle, but guess what?" His face was now less than a mouse-length from Flynn's. "Your choice to not follow any laws? It actually doesn't exempt you from consequences for breaking those laws. Shocker, I know!" He laughed in the tom's face. "Accept responsibility for your actions, tom-kit. You trespassed first; you disrespected the cats who live here; I offered to escort you off our territory without a fight, but you refused. You made things difficult when you could have made them easy, and now you're paying the price for it, so don't expect any sympathy, for you or for that little fur-ball of yours." His eyes glittered slyly. "You know, maybe I can convince my leader to keep her for a while, teach her some manners. The scrap could afford to be raised by some civil cats rather than an arrogant, barbaric rogue such as yourself. She needs to learn some respect, and she sure won't as long as she stays with you. Thanks for the idea, tom-kit. Maybe it wasn't so bad that you dropped by after all." Flicking Flynn's chin with his tail, he padded back to stand beside Birdpaw.
