Nicholas hadn't been too sure about being sent off to a palace to meet other royalty for a year. He did hope that they would have the same sort of conduct that he had, but he'd definitely heard the stories about various of the princes and princesses that he'd be sharing the palace with, and he was honestly quite uncertain about it. Hopefully they'd at least be friendly and respectful.

After being shown around the palace - a tour that Nicholas was sure to conduct himself with the utmost amount of grace and elegance during, as he usually did - Nicholas made his way to his assigned room. He smiled lightly at the room, and started to unpack on his own. He wanted to be sure that everything was unpacked and organised before he even considered leaving his room to properly meet the others. He'd already seen some of their characters during the tour, and he wasn't quite sure what he thought about them yet. Some of them definitely seemed to be very carefree outgoing, which he was a little nervous about, because that was pretty much the exact opposite of himself.

When he did finish unpacking, Nicholas left his room quietly, and started to walk down the corridor, wondering if anyone else was out of their rooms yet.

Marcel huffs as Thea walks past..he mutters to himself and rolls his eyes, knocking on Genevieve's door again. "Gen!!"

The ride here wasn't too long, but it was SUFFERING. He complained the whole way about how he didn't want to do this, Genevieve managed to calm him down before entering, and had him pull back his hair. as soon as he stepped into the palace he let his dark hair down..Once he gt to the palace, he tossed his stuff in, changed into a white button up shirt, not buttoning it up all the way, of course. (Because he's like that) He keeps on his black tight pants. (Imagine mercutios clothes from the 1996 romeo and Juliet)

He knocks more rapidly
He looks over and sees Nicholas

He scoffs as a greeting, rolling his eyes. "Hi." he says sourly. He sighs and finally stops, not leaving his post by his sisters door.

Spotting a prince that was waiting by one of the doors, looking rather moody and bored, Nicholas nodded slightly towards him in greeting. He ignored the fact that the other prince had spoken to him with a sour tone - perhaps it had been a long journey, or the prince was frustrated with the situation. Either way, Nicholas stopped by, for it was only going to be polite to speak to the other prince, even if he didn't seem interested. "Hello there." Nicholas said, and then he held out a hand. "My name's Nicholas Rainier." he introduced himself, expecting that the other prince would return the pleasantries, and shake his hand and also introduce himself.

Marcel huffs, looking at his hand, then looks back up at his face, observing the other. "Marcel Whittaker. Nice to meet you. Where you from?"

xxliberty arrived at the palace, stepping out of her carriage and taking in the view. hm. it wasn't as nice as her home palace, but it would have to do for now. she wasn't sure how she was going to cope being away from her kingdom for so long. she had never really wanted to be a part of this whole marriage thing. the possibility of finding love in this palace had never really occurred to her. liberty had always assumed she would be married off to someone in the future, just not this soon. why did she need someone by her side to rule? liberty could rule the kingdom by herself perfectly fine. she was sure it wouldn't take too long for her mother and father to realize that they needed her back. their beloved crown princess was gone, for what, more than a year? the kingdom needed her.
xxliberty's heels clicked on the floor rhythmically as she walked through the palace. she realized that she had probably overpacked, seeing the servants struggling to deliver her many enormous trunks up to her room. she shrugged it off and decided to go check out her chambers. at entry, she immediately began scouring the room, already deciding what she would change. if she was going to be staying here, at least she could make it look nicer. the first thing she did was place her large standing ornate mirror. it had a gorgeous gilded gold frame and it would be perfect for deciding what to wear every day. she pulled out a large portrait of herself in the palace gardens and placed it on the wall, and then began to unpack her many day dresses and gowns.

Marcel down either side of the hallway. "Is nobody else done? Uhg." He sighs. "You seem real proper. What's your deal?" He raises an eyebrow suspiciously at Nicholas

Thea walked out of her room. She wanted to explore inside and outside of this castle. She hurried down the stairs, her delicate fingers running along the banister as she did so. Her chocolate waves were braided into a single braid, which rested over her shoulder. She wore nicer clothes, but not too much as to prevent her from being able to walk around. She hadn't seen any of the princes nor princesses yet. Her isolation as a child was definitely shown by the way that she presented herself. She was timid. She didn't know how to socialize, but she couldn't help her urge to explore this new place. She had never really been allowed to be outside without many guards surrounding her, but she was sure there would be less here. And she could likely escape some of them, seeing that she was generally agile. She walked around the castle, hoping to see somebody else she could talk to.

Marcel sees the princess. "Well she's out. She looks like she's in a hurry." he shouts in Thea's direction, "Hey! No need to rush! You got ALL YEAR!" he laughs to himself, then combs his fingers through his thick hair and then flips it, trying to make it look, in his opinion, attractive. Messy of course. That's the only way he loud his hair to be. he puts one hand in his pocket and the other at his side

"It is nice to meet you as well, Prince Marcel." Nicholas said. Realising that the other prince probably wasn't going to shake his hand, he withdrew his hand, unable to help but feel a little offended or as if he was being snubbed. Still, he remained pleasant - nothing was going to rock his professional conduct. "I am from the kingdom of Gwildor. Where might you be from?" Nicholas then replied, and returned the question. He knew that there were several kingdoms that were a part of the peace treaty, but he just wasn't quite sure where each of the other princes and princesses were from.
"I'm sure they're just settling in." Nicholas then replied, thinking that Marcel could do with practicing some patience. Rushing around everywhere just wasn't something that was proper. He did raise an eyebrow when Marcel made his comment, and was a little surprised by the question as well. "I'm just raised to conduct and hold myself at a proper standard for my status." Nicholas replied, unsure what he meant, but decided to answer to how he understood it.

He glanced towards the princess that Marcel shouted over to, and he waved slightly, formally, with an apologetic glance.
