Spottedstorm sighed as she had waited on the two warriors to come down from getting the toucan's. She didn't mind having to stay down with Silverpaw though, they would probably get the next prey. She focused on trying to scent for nearby prey, perking her ears up some to try to listen for some as well. "We'll get our turn next Silverpaw... Do you scent anything nearby us?"

Weaselpaw had relaxed as his father had followed after him, glad it was him instead of Fishbelly. He enjoyed time with Whitetail usually even if they weren't all that close, the warrior was still his father and at least appreciated any time he could with him. Though the only cat other than his kin he enjoyed more would be Mambastride, he was worried about him. And when he scented him not long after Jaguarstar, following after him. His father had tried to shield him from seeing his mentor with the ocelot but it was too late, he was nearly frozen in both grief and fear. He had never seen an ocelot before now, they were always talked about given the clan's history but they hadn't seen one in over a moon. When hearing Jaguarstar, it took a few moments for him to finally move. "Okay! I'll get warriors," he told, quickly looking at his father in fear before the apprentice dashed back to camp.

Leopardheart was caught off guard by Coatistare cutting her off. Her blood began to boil as she made a quick glare at

the younger warrior. Returning her attention to Toucanpaw and Macawpaw, the fae nodded as she listened to the two talking. "Let's

get to the smaller streams quickly so we can begin training." Leopardheart said calmly as she quickened her pace leading the other

three cats. She wanted to be ahead so she wouldn't have to look at Coatistare until they reached their destination. Oh, how

Leopardheart wished she could teach that young warrior a few lessons of her own.

"The effects should be kicking in soon." Harpytalon mewed as he finished organizing his herbs. "You should begin to

feel relaxed, calm and happy." he added as he turned to face Pantherstrike. "I'll be in the camp for now so focus on resting." and

with that, the tall male exited his den and sat just outside his den. "Patrols are already gone...who to mingle with?" the male

questioned himself silently as he scanned the camp.

The she-cat nodded in response when PythonTail signaled her to go after the first toucan and paused when she had gotten close enough to the bird. She glanced back up at PythonTail to see that he was ready and she pushed herself up the tree, she leapt onto the first bird with her claws unsheathed as she grabbed it before biting into its neck. The other bird was already flying up towards PythonTail.

The she-cat opened her mouth to respond to ToucanPaw but quickly shut it when LeopardHeart began to speak. She quickly followed after LeopardHeart not even bothering to wait up for her own mentor, she had caught her rolling her eyes and couldn't help but wish she hadn't been stuck with Coatistare as her mentor. She shook her head at her thought and let out a soft sigh, even if she didn't get along with her mentor she'd just have to deal with it until she becomes a warrior.

The second the bird took to the air, Pythontail was on its back, sending it and himself plummeting to the ground. He managed to deliver the killing bite mid-air despite its thrashing wings before jumping off of it, landing neatly on his paws while the toucan thudded on the ground, dead. "Good work," he grunted to Cobrastorm.

For a moment Silverpaw was too distracted by Pythontail and Cobrastorm's teamwork, and his eyes shone when they successfully caught the toucans, almost an unison. But at his mother's voice, he snapped out of it and scented the air, trying to see if there was anything nearby he could catch. "I think I smell...iguana, maybe? It's some kind of lizard."

Whitetail barely had time to give his son a solemn nod before he leapt at the wild cat, paws outstretched and claws unsheathed. He slashed at the ocelot's face alongside Jaguarstar, and it was about to return the favor when Fishbelly suddenly leapt at it.

With a furious yowl, Fishbelly launched himself onto the ocelot's back, digging his claws in as far as they would go. Blinded by rage now that the impact of Mambastride's death had settled in, he swore he saw red as he raked his claws mercilessly down the cat's back.

Peacockpaw nodded reassuringly at Canopypaw, trying to tell her not to worry with his eyes. "Alright, then. Ready, Lochpaw?" He turned to the other she-cat.

"Yeah, just...okay," Cacaopaw repeated awkwardly. "I'm sure I won't mind being a warrior one day..." She trailed off. If I ever do. "Are you excited?"

She looked at Rainfall about her question "no...everything is fine" she meowed silently starting to speed up. As they go to the place she was thought to be a good place for hunting, she stopped "we're here, so let's start the hunting" she meowed starting to sniff the wind and listening to the voices.

He didn't say anything only waited for the right moment to start the chase, his large body size, did give a little bit of help as he looked bigger and could scare the adult capybaras, but as long they had kits, they could not leave without a fight. He pouched toward the other adult capybara, getting into its neck biting and clawing, but he could not do that for long as the capybara's skin was a little bit slippery. As he keeps attacking the adult, he peeked around to see where the kits were and for the water as well, the grass started to sink near the water hole and he didn't want to get wet.

She watched focused as the three warriors chased and attacked the two adult capybaras, seeing how their kits was scared and stayed still in one place "yes...I am" she meowed to Peacockpaw, her eyes didn't break out of the kits "So how we do that, one cat against a one capybara kit? Do you think now could be a good time to attack the kits?" she told them.

W h e n Fishbelly leaped onto the ocelot's back, the thing yowled in pain. It was a sound unlike one Jaguarstar had ever heard before, making his blood run cold. To his surprise, the ocelot tore off, with Fishbelly still on top of it. Jaguarstar shot a helpless glance at Whitetail, but in the next moment his paws were pounding on the jungle floor as he raced after the ocelot. Weighed down by Fishbelly, the feline was almost as slow as he was, and he lunged to try and grab its tail. Missing, he landed just short, his jaws snapping together. Shaking his head to clear it, he followed, the ocelot bursting into an open clearing.

" W e l l , we could - " Canopypaw's words were cut short as he gaze flew to the other side of the clearing, nearer to where the warriors were driving the adult capybara. Loud yowls grew louder as an ocelot burst into the clearing, Fishbelly clinging to its back, blood seeping wildly from the wounds he'd cause. Jaguarstar burst in right after it, and Canopypaw's fur stood on end.

T o u c a n p a w flattened his ears, wondering what had gotten into their mentors' pelts. "Why are they so hostile with each other?" he whispered to Macawpaw as they padded after Leopardheart. "Leopardheart's always kind of prickly...but I've never seen two cats struggle for power over apprentices like that! We would have listened to both of them..." he trailed off, wondering if the mentors were just trying to prove who the best mentor was. He and the other apprentices competed all of the time, and perhaps that never ended when a cat became a warrior.

T a p i r f o o t ' s attention was torn away from the capybara group as an ocelot, Fishbelly attached, burst into the clearing. He shot a glance at Rockrose and Sunleaf. "All right, change of plans. Rockrose, Sunleaf, let's go!" He hoped the apprentices would keep their distance, but he doubted it; hopefully with so many warriors, their injuries would be minimal at the most. Hoping the other two toms followed him, he raced towards the ocelot, realizing that Jaguarstar was there two, Whitetail's scent giving away that he would soon arrive.

The she-cat gave a small nod as if to say you too but since the toucan was still dangling from her jaw, she was unable to give a verbal response. She started climbing down from the tree slowly due to the extra weight. She hopped down once she was close enough to the ground.

He keeps attacking the capybara parents when a yowl made him stop "what the..." he murmured out of himself his eyes looked toward the chaos between Ocicat which was coming their way. He made a quick look over to the capybara kits there hanging around, noticing that this could be the best time to catch them but the Ocicat coming their way was not wised thing to do, so he needed to forget the kits and run toward the Ocicat instead.

The silver tabby couldn't help but faintly hear Toucanpaw and Macawpaw's little conversation while she kpt up her

quick pace. It wasn't until she finally saw the small streams in sight, a small sigh of relief escaped Leopardheart's maw as she felt

the sandy texture slightly squish under her paws. "Toucanpaw be ready and you both know the rules, no claws." Leopardheart began

as she stopped and glanced between the two apprentices. Leopardheart would let Caotistare attempt to train her apprentice until

she felt like she didn't care on Macawpaw's footwork and battle techniques. "Demonstrate what you should already know and we'll

go from there." the silver fae added as she waited for the two young cats to begin.

Coatistare nodded, looking at all the cats with a challenging look as if daring them to say something about her training. She sat on the opposite side of Leopardheart, looking at Macawpaw and watching them. "Be ready, Macawpaw." she told them with a nod. "You know what I've taught you. Show her your best!"

Pantherstrike chewed the herbs with a sigh. He didn't feel relaxed or happy at all- or maybe it was just him trying to resist the effects of the herbs. He let his weak leg lay limp, staring out of the den with a heavy feeling in his heart, hoping the herbs would kick in sooner than later. "Okay." he sighed.
