Blinking back at him, she stopped walking, just watching him for a moment. "A tnrp? Wow." For once she was actually impressed. "My father believed it improper for me to go through that ritual, so he made me go through the ritual of the hunter instead. Moving her body so her left arm was clearly visible, she smiled weakly. "That was when he gave me this." She gestured at her arm and the painted markings on her face. "Each has a meaning but we don't have the time for me to explain." Brushing her hair off her face, she turned around and resumed walking, her pace a little faster than it had been before. Breaking through the bushes that surrounded the water where they had previously met the Talkur, she stopped and looked into the water. A smile quickly spread on her face as she saw the girl once again, dipping her head in greeting. "Hello again. Beikon wasn't it?" Smirking over at Adonai, she gave him an expression that told him clearly that he was to ask her, after all... She might actually have a crush on the fool, she had appeared to like him yesturday when they saw her.

I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you

You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you

I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

((its fine. I unfortunately must go to work now :/ but I may be able to post through LSW in a bit. Depending on which school groups I get this morning.))

Beikon
Beikon smiles as the pair of Roea arrive at the river. "Hi! I was hoping to see you guys!" She shoulders the wrap bag on her shoulder, placing her Mope inside. This is a bad idea... The Mope circles the bag surprised by the free space within. "Don't be such a downer." Beikon climbs out of the river, the bag on her shoulder. "Tada! I was hoping you guys could show me around the jungle a little?" Beikon wears a grin from ear to ear. She did it and it looked like the bag really worked! Her smile weakens when she sees Adonai's weary face. "What's wrong?" Was it the smell of her furs?

Adonai

Adonai watches the Talkur girl. There is no way she could have taken the child, she behaves as no more than a child herself. Coming here was a waste of time. His eyes drift past the girl to the tree Lefou had said the Moroaon had been behind the other night. If they could just ask one he's sure they would have seen. Catching on to the fact that Raena wished him to interrogate the girl, Adonai sighs. "One of the boys from our village went missing last night. We have been tasked with finding him." Adonai pauses well aware that the girl had no clue what he was talking about. "If you'd like to join us in the search you'll see much of the jungle. But you must ask Raena." With this Adonai starts walking along the river and Beikon stares at Raena wide eyed begging with her eyes.

(( Okay :3 Have fun xD ))

\\Ræna//

Ræna rolled her eyes at Adonai, shaking her head. "What I was wondering was if your tribe has had missing children recently as well, because if it is not just us then we may have a problem on our hands. We have been sent on this task by respected members of our tribe. If you can keep up, you may join us in our search." Her lips twitched into a small smile, but her eyes remained serious. There was no way she was going to disappoint her superiors, even if she did want to know more about the Talkur... They could wait or Beikon could keep up. It was either a yes or a no... No other options. Glancing over at Adonai, she gestured with her head that it was time to leave. They'd need to head towards the ocean if they were to go to the desert, so she looked back at Adonai, sighing softly. "What do you suggest we do? From what I heard the boy had just wandered, so perhaps combing the jungle first, then moving on to the other places?" It was quite a frightening thought, that she might need to leave the protection of the jungle for this task, but she was up for it. There was no way she'd make herself look like a coward in front of him... He'd be all over it for weeks, there would be no end...

Beikon
Beikon follows the Roea. "Your missing child? I'm sorry, was it one of yours?" Beikon studies the pair. Maybe they were closer than she thought, after all they both seemed fairly distracted. "No the children of the Talkur play in the reefs where its safe during they day and then are amongst the tribe during the night. There is no chance for them to disappear." The mope swishes in the bag. The reefs that you are supposed to be inspecting now. "Oh hush. Its not like anything will happen if I don't make sure the coral is growing at a perfect angle."

Adonai

Adonai keeps ahead, heading towards the site where the child was last seen. "Lefou said that he couldn't find any tracks or any trail to follow from the boy. That means that there is something bigger going on then the boy just wandering off. I used to try to hide from Lefou as a child and he could always find me, no matter how much I covered my trail." Reaching the area, Adonai searches for the boy's tracks to see if there is anything abnormal about them. "The trail leads here and just vanishes. You can tell he didn't double back over his own steps because the depth is consistent throughout the entire trail. This boy could be anywhere." Adonai stands from his crouch. "If you were to catch a baby kpbica and you didn't want to be chased by its mother, where would you hide?"

Shaking her head very quickly at Beikon, she held back a growl, looking away. "Deffinately not ours. Although we were told to treat him as our own, protect him with our lives once we locate him. There is nothing between us, nothing at all." Just to make sure the Talkur girl knew that... Looking over the tracks herself, she nodded as Adonai spoke. "There is a slight dip in pressure here, almost as if he hesitated before taking another step. The only other tracks here are animal. Adonai, what guide did the boy have? There are Ntnlia tracks here, they are strong enough to carry one of us. Are you certain there are no other tracks?" Glancing quickly over the tracks in the ground, she frowned, growling under her breath. "The aging of some of these tracks is wrong." Pointing to a set of larger footprints, she shook her head. "See here, the tracks here suggest maybe a day or two, but the continuation here suggests a few weeks at least. Unless he was standing there for a few weeks, we need to sort through what is right and what is wrong." Great, more work... "Why would I take a baby kpbica?" Shaking her head, she facepalm'd, sighing. "Sorry. If I had stolen something, I would get myself as far away from that spot as possible. I'd keep whatever it was on my person, but somewhere no one would see it. As you can see..." Gesturing towards the lack of spaces where hiding things was possible due to the Roea's lack of clothing... "...hiding a child on your person would be difficult, so perhaps travelling by tree or guide?" Taking a closer look at the plant matter, she frowned, eyes scanning every little detail. "The child knew whatever took him. There is no signs of a struggle..."

Beikon
Beikon can't help but grin at the girl's defensiveness. "He didn't mean where would you hide it in a literal sense. I don't know what a kpbica is but you would hide someplace one wouldn't look." Beikon smiles proudly for figuring it out.

Adonai

Adonai agrees with Raena on the most important note. There was no struggle here. "This is a common place for the children to play. They would be familiar with most things in this area, the aging of the tracks only confirm that the boy has visited this area many times. But if you were to steal from a kpbica you would climb to where the mother would not see you. Stealing from a Roea is not much different." Adonai grasps the nearest tree and begins to scale it slowly, stopping to look for marks of a climber. Sure enough, the length of the tree bears scrapes aging for several weeks. Sliding down, Adonai lands on his feet. "Something has been climbing regularly, about as regularly as this boy. Think he's a climber?"

Crouching down and hovering her hand over the boy's tracks, she leapt at the tree he had been supposedly climbing, measuring the scrape marks against those which she would have made if she wasn't trained. "The climber is around the same size and weight. Half my size roughly, maybe a bit more? But yes, it would appear so..." Once she had gotten perfect balance, using her legs to keep herself up, she let go with her arms, pushed off with her feet and swung quickly to another tree, looking it over for similar scraping to suggest someone had been there. "There are marks on this one too, although they aren't as fresh. Same height and weight, so maybe he was practising?" Letting go completely, she allowed herself to fall, twisting her body while half way to the ground to land on her feet and a hand. Shaking herself tree of debris as she stood back up, she smirked at Adonai, just enjoying herself instead of trying to show off. "Was there anything to suggest the boy was running away from something? I mean, was everything alright back in the village for him? I know I ran away for a few nights at a time when my mother shouted at me. She never thought I'd amount to anything, and that I should just do as she did and settle down..." Rolling her eyes, she glanced over at the other two, blushing. "Oops. Sorry."

Beikon
Beikon watches the two Roea in amazement as they easily scale the trees. How can they do that, she can barely walk much less climb! The pair land and continue talking as though nothing happened. "THAT WAS INCREDIBLE! How did you do that?"Subtle. Beikon grabs her mouth realizing her outburst. "Oops. Sorry. But how do you know all this stuff?" She new a lot about the reef but she had never seen anything even close to what these two were doing.

Adonai

Adonai sighs. "Raena, its alright. You've proven her wrong." Adonai smiles at the Talkur's curiosity. "Most Roea can climb at some level, huntresses like Raena actually specialize in it. Its a key part of how they hunt." Adonai returns his attention to Raena's questions. "I don't know much about the boy, I was really hoping that mother Matb had told you more. As for his guide, I think its an apokah." Adonai looks up the tree once more. Seeing a possible hollow, he scales the tree with focused speed.

Blushing ever so slightly as she listened to Adonai speak, a small smile appeared on her face. "Thanks." Shaking off her softer side, she leapt back up into the tree, checking the higher branches in case she had missed anything. "Deffinately child. A huntress, even a small one, would climb up to this level. Better view, easier to sit and wait... The one climbing these trees was inexperienced, sloppy... So deffinately male." Smirking at Adonai, she leapt into the same tree he was in, watching the hollow from a different angle. Trying not to watch Adonai was difficult at first, but she was a trained huntress so got through it... "Apakoh? There are no tracks suggesting one of them. Are you certain?" Frowning, her brow furrowed, she looked down at the Talkur, frown quickly changing. "It's easy, for us anyway. You're used to water, we're used to land. Most hunters prefer to hunt by ground, but many huntresses prefer by tree. I hunt either way, although I have to admit that I like sitting up here and watching the forest and those in it. Although not when some of the hunters take time out of the village, away from hunting to wash in the river." The look of disgust was clear on her face, embarrasement close behind it. Adonai would probably laugh at her, but she didn't care, it was not something she wanted to see again...

Beikon
Beikon blushes slightly at the comment about watching the men. She hadn't stopped watching Adonai since he had started to climb.

Adonai

Adonai crawls into the hollow. "He definitely hid in here at some point, he left some berries. You must remember my dear, Raena, that apokah are capable of flight. It would be fairly easy for it to simply perch somewhere and watch the boy. And yes I heard that last part too. You aren't the only one to have felt that pain." Adonai climbs from the hollow, the Netrwar Blibla floats before his face. What now? "He would have followed the path of the grove. He may well have set down at any point and taken to foot. This task will be impossible." Adonai grasps a vine, wrapping it around his arm. He lunges from the tree spinning as he speeds towards the ground. Just before he hits the ground he swings around and lands on his feet. Huntresses weren't the only skilled climbers.

Beikon
Beikon's eyes go wide with fear as Adonai speeds towards the ground only to land perfectly. Wow. That was reckless. For once Beikon agreed with her Mope.
