- a scruffy dog in possession of way more height than they have any right to own. akhutai is a youthful bundle of limbs and unkempt fur whose movements are awkward and reek painfully of their adolescence. behind their eyes is a constant deer-in-the-headlights look of someone who was just caught in the middle of something bad. they hold a keen belief that there are all sorts of supernatural things on the island, and cannot be convinced otherwise. akhutai often babbles at length about these odd thoughts.

- mojag's mouth is perpetually downturned on one side due to an injury that left the muscles around it paralyzed. this has left him with a funky scowl on his face. he is a well-meaning guy that often trips over his words. most of his days are spent muttering about things coherent only to him, as well as the occasional stroll through dangerous territory in search of something to keep his spirits up. he and akhutai are siblings that were both born on the island.
