Mistflower nodded her head once. "Well I'm sure you will be great mentors even though you haven't had ones in awhile," she teased them and licked Littleflower's ear once. "I'm sure it will be nice, I for one will be excited for when Quiverpaw is done with training and not having early morning training sessions at least for a little while." She loved training Quiverpaw but she was excited for her mornings off again, she enjoyed being a mentor though. It was bittersweet. When she noticed Foxcloud staying behind to talk to Southstar, she was a bit surprised as she expected the she-cat to be eager to find Deertail. However she knew that Southstar did love talking to all of his warriors.

Foxcloud shaked her head as he went on to be the leader which was of course probably normal for him. She enjoyed the scent she could smell as the two went on to the undergrowth and purred. Stagleap purred and nodded her head once. "I've met Splashpaw yes, she's very nice and warm," she agreed before she sighed once. "I wish you could but yes that's not allowed. When they arrived to camp she stopped hearing Southstar call her name and she nodded her head. "Of course Southstar," she bowed her head and glanced at the camp before looking at Quiverpaw. "I'll see you in the morning," she told her friend quietly as they had approached the camps entrance.

Q u i v e r p a w butted Stagleap's flank. "Good luck," she purred, before padding further into camp. She glanced around: her father was nowhere in camp, and Mistflower was talking to some of the other warriors. With a small sigh, the apprentice headed into her den. She curled up in her nest, flicking her tail over her nose and closing her eyes, hoping that she would sleep soundly tonight.

D e e r t a i l let his tail rest comfortingly on the tom's flank. "I know how hard it is," he mewed to the tom. "My kit grew up without her mother. That was Tickfang's fault; but this isn't Silversnow's. If she really is that sick, then she probably wants to hold onto happiness for her last few moons with you and your kits...they have a wonderful mother. Cherish every moment." Deertail wasn't sure what else to say. He understood - but now, he only hated Tickfang. Quiverpaw hated Tickfang. She'd lost her mother and he'd lost his mate, but it mostly just angered him. Reedwhisker's heart was broken, and he didn't know how to help. He could only imagine would it would be like to lose Foxcloud - he didn't think his heart could take another heartbreak.

Southstar's gaze was gentle as he replied, "Because I didn't know if I felt the same way." He turned his head slightly as he added, "And I still don't know. But..." He turned back to her. "They say you'll never know if you like something unless you try it, and I figured tonight would be as good a time as any to try. After all, I know I'm not the only tom on your mind, and I don't want to lose my chance. You and Deertail, you seemed...close, earlier. But you pulled away from him when you saw me, didn't you? You didn't want me to see." He took a step towards her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "It's okay to like more than one cat, you know. As far as I'm concerned, you don't belong to any one cat until you agree to be that cat's mate--until that day, you're fair game. And you aren't anyone's mate right now, are you?"

"I second that!" Littleflower purred as they arrived at camp. She almost felt a bit disappointed now that the day was over--it had gone by so fast, and even though nothing terribly eventful had happened, she had still enjoyed it, although she was feeling a bit tired by now. "Me too," she meowed, beginning to follow him but stopping to look back at Mistflower. "You coming, Mistflower?"

Blizzardclaw made sure all the cats made it back into the camp before following them in. He headed over to Beestar's den, glancing in slowly before he noticed she was sleeping. Mistflower eagerly nodded, she was ready to fall asleep just up on her paws. "You say that now but you'll probably get stuck on patrol duty if Streamspots catches you doing that more often then not." She knew that from experience, she at first did let Quiverpaw sleep in until after a moon of being apprenticed when she was put on dawn patrol then had to go train her after. She would probably let her apprentice sleep in at least a tad tonight.
"Yes of course," she purred and followed after Litteflower and Swiftbadger to go to the warrior den. She would be a proud mentor on the night Quiverpaw has her warrior vigil and would be happy for her to share the den with her.

Foxcloud listened to him carefully and slowly nodded along as she heard him basically debating allowed if he did like her or not. She had a mate but she couldn't help but have doubts as she never had been sure of her feelings to Southstar and wouldn't know until after they spent some time together. The mention of Deertail made her a tad uncomfortable but it was true, she didn't want Southstar to had seen them together like that. "That's true... I didn't want you to see us like that." She was calm, she was just unsure of admitting that she was mates with Deertail, it had moved so fast. Panic filled her. "No I don't have a mate." Her tail flicked the others flank as he neared her once more.

When he had seen Daydream, he padded over to his former apprentice. "How was the gathering? Were you able to talk to Robinwind about the vision you had?" He asked the younger cat quietly as he glanced at the other returning cats heading to their dens.

He shook his head. "Plenty peaceful. But Beestar has had her kits I assume because neither she nor Robinwind were there," he said," I let ivypaw know to give robinwind a message from me."

Southstar nodded slowly, satisfied that he had been right. "That's what I thought." He moved closer to her, but noticed that she seemed a bit tense. She had responded rather quickly, but he figured she was just nervous with how quickly things were progressing. "Don't be scared," he told her gently, nuzzling against her softly. (Fade?)

"Yeah..." Darkpaw wished he could sleep in the warriors' den with Goldenrose. The number of apprentices in his own den had been reduced by one, leaving only him and Quiverpaw in it. Not that it really bothered him either way, as he and Stagleap were never that close anyway, but he felt it made it more awkward to sleep in a den with only one other cat in it. Then again, he would've felt a bit bad for Quiverpaw if she had to sleep in the den all by herself, and he started to feel glad that he was still in there with her--but on the other paw, she probably didn't find his presence comforting at all. She would probably prefer to be by herself than to share a den with just me, he thought. Oh well, it doesn't matter. "Goodnight, Goldenrose." He bid the warrior goodbye as he headed into the apprentices' den. He was relieved to find Quiverpaw already seemingly asleep, and quietly tiptoed to his own nest before curling up in it.
