Yawning the long-haired ginger she-cat sat near the warrior's den, but still, keep her distance to the den's entrance, so she could not be anyone's way if they wanted out or inside the den. Blinking her eyes she watched the already awaken clan mates, most of them were talking with each other or checking their apprentices. She didn't have an apprentice to worry at so she had more free time to do whatever she felt like, now she was wondering about going out for a hunt or just for a small walk. Before doing anything at all she patiently waited if she was being needed anywhere, like on patrols and so on.

Slowly she opened her eyes after hearing some quiet talking, seeing a figure of Hawkeye and Fogsprint walking out of the warrior's den "Can't you two speak more quietly or not at all, some of us are trying to sleep in here" she meowed to them, annoyed. She made a rollover in her eyes when her brother talked to her "thank you to pointing that out" she murmured to her brother.

After hearing his sister's voice the multicolored tom yawned and rolled around to meet the other tortoiseshell warrior "You're the one who is the loudest one right now, my dear sis" he meowed playfully. Shaking his fur, turning to the two older warrior's which was getting out already "any patrols being sent out yet?" he asked at them.

He watched the camp for a while, then stood up to leave the apprentice's den, but stopped when heard heavy breathing behind him. Blinking his eyes he looked over at Sunpaw the younger she-cat "hey Sunpaw, you're not planning to sleep the whole day?" he meowed loudly, landing his both front paws to the she-cats side, lightly pushing her.

She sat down near the leader's den, watching the clan, many of her clanmates were already up and some of them were even got back for a hunt, which was very good, but there were those too which could do anything without someone to ask them to. Her eyes turned to Spiderdust there as the older warrior gave her very odd looks during the time when Lionstar got sick, she started to wonder if there was something in his mind but didn't want to think about it. Shaking her head lightly she looked every cat, thinking which she could order to which patrol, her eyes stopped at Foxcloud there "Foxcloud?" she called out "Can you lead a hunting patrol? take your apprentice, Timberfoot, Leopardpaw and Darkflower with you" she called to the she-warrior.

He knew that his mentor was there talking with Foxcloud and Rainpaw, wondering if he will ask them to do some battle training with him. He personally didn't mind about Rainpaw, but he find it kind of boring to battle a cat who's skills are not the same line or better, but he needed to go the way his mentor wanted him to. His ears perked to his mother's call where his name was being mentioned too 'hm? Does she want to make sure I do something for the clan too? How typical' he thought with a sigh.

It didn't take long for the kitten to stuff herself with the bird and she fell dramatically onto her side "I'm so full, I don't think I'll be able to eat for moons!" She giggled and she glanced over at Flynn who was still devouring the bird. A mischievous grin appeared on her face and she stood up before pouncing on him, playfully nibbling his ear.

W i t h one massive leap, the calico leaped from her perch, her paws thudding onto a soft patch of grass on the camp's floor. With graceful strides, Petalstar padded towards Lightningwing. "Good morning," the leader said, as she approached the queen. "Lightningwing, I need you to take out a hunting patrol. You can hunt in the southernmost part of the territory, near the furthers Twoleg den. The dog that was there is gone now, the last patrol confirmed the scent is long stale. Still, don't take any apprentices with you. I'd like to give it a few more sunrises."
The leader's gaze swept the clearing. Many of her warriors were up and moving, thankfully. "Leafwillow is up. Take him with you. And..." She trailed off, spotting Stormeye. She quickly flicked her gaze away. "...and Redfeather, too. Any other warriors that you'd like to take with you, that's fine, but try not to take any mentors away from training their apprentices, since they can't go."

A ginger coat caught the sunlight filtering into the cave's cracked wall, illuminating where Redfeather made his nest. The tabby was lying still, sleepless, staring out into the camp. He was silent, though there was a baleful expression in his green eyes; a longing for something he could never have. Redfeather sometimes found getting up each dawn hard - but when he thought of his Clan and, the light of his life, Sunpaw, he was motivated to keep going. One needed to lie and reminisce on occasion, though, or at least Redfeather thought so. If he never allowed himself to grieve what was, he would forget about it, wouldn't he? Redfeather did not want to forget.
Finally the tom figured that the further the sun went in the sky, the more time he was wasting. He stood and gave his ginger pelt a shake, smoothing down a patch of his chest-fur with his tongue before padding out of the den. He leaped down from the den, his paws thudding softly on the cave's stony, grass-patched floor, and glanced around, not seeing Thunderhowl anywhere. The deputy's stale scent told him that she was no longer in the camp. He shrugged to himself and instead headed near the apprentices' den, hoping to catch Sunpaw before their mornings could begin.

A n eagle cried, making Stormeye whip his head to the side. The tabby had been watching the sun rise just outside of camp, closer to the very peak of the mountain. Now his intense amber eyes scanned the skies for trouble. He finally spotted the eagle: too far away to scare him, soaring gracefully over the mountain's pine forest. He relaxed as he noticed how far away it was. The tom stood up and began to pad back inside of the camp. The cave-like dip in the ground had become familiar to him, though he had not been here long. He felt at home.
As he entered the den, Stormeye caught Petalstar's calico pelt outside of her den in the corner of his eye. He quickly turned his gaze: Tigerstar, the leader when she was just Petalfall, had allowed him here, now her. Petalstar had made it clear that if she'd been in charge, he wouldn't have been welcome in PeakClan. Nonetheless, the tom tried to please her. Now, Stormeye settled down and began grooming his pelt. He was thin - he hadn't been eating well lately. His thoughts wandered to Creekpaw. He missed sharing prey with her in the evenings, after their duties were complete. He hoped that she was being taken care of well.

T h e gray tabby had been fast asleep, his tail tucked over his nose, when two hindpaws connected to his back, nearly knocking him out of his nest. He woke with a start, his claws unsheathing as he faced his attacker: before realizing it was only Sparrowcall, moving around like a nervous squirrel in her nest. "Watch it!" He hissed, causing the queen to jerk awake with a prod of his paw.
"Sorry, Rabbitfur...I was chasing rabbits in my dream, funnily enough!" the queen said to him as her fur settled. Rabbitfur rolled his eyes. He glanced towards Lostface's nest. He didn't want to disturb his sister, so instead, stood up and hopped down out of the den without another word. He certainly had no interest in talking to Sparrowcall. She had her problems, and he didn't want to hear about them. It was easier for him to sit outside of the den and groom his pelt until Lostface woke up - so that's just what he was going to do.

Cat scent touched his nose, and he turned to face the other two warriors. "I think we were wrong," he said. "I smell cats."

Hawkeye ducked her head a bit in embarrassment when Ivythorn told them to be quieter, even though she hadn't thought she was being that loud, and was about to apologize when Rayfeather stuck up for them. She shot him a grateful smile before shrugging at his question. "Don't know, I only just got up myself." Turning back to Fogsprint, she added, "Ohh, I forgot you went on that patrol last night. I'd be tired, too." She gave her chest fur a couple of licks. "But yeah, me too. Should we go out and see if there are any patrols we can join?" Her gaze flickered between Fogsprint and Rayfeather, the question directed at either one.

Sunpaw awoke with a gasp as she felt paws slamming into her side. Instinctively she kicked the cat off of her, thinking she was being attacked, but relaxed when she saw it was only Starlingpaw. "Sorry, Starlingpaw! You startled me. You should know better than to wake me like that."

Cat-scent hit Crowthorn's nose almost as quickly as Birdpaw had mentioned it, and he nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, I smell it too. I guess we'd better sniff these kitties out, huh?" With a glint in his eyes and without waiting for a response, he started following the scent, keeping his jaws parted and ears pricked.

Timberfoot dipped his head to the deputy as she approached. For a moment he felt disappointed, expecting Foxcloud to be sent on patrol without him, but he was pleased when Vixenbite asked the calico she-cat to bring him along as well. "Fine by me," he purred, simply glad he got to be around the she-cat.

"True." Southwind followed Swiftstep out of the den, blinking against the early morning sunlight. "Looks like we got up just in time," he observed when he saw Vixenbite beginning to send out patrols.

"Sure." Darkflower nodded and begin to drag the rabbit towards the fresh-kill pile. It was an impressive catch, for sure; she could only hope she would catch something just as impressive later on that day. As she moved the heavy thing, she heard Vixenbite's voice not far off, and could've sworn she heard the deputy mention her name, but she wasn't about to make the first move towards her. She was eager to get out and hunt, true, but not so eager to go on a patrol.

"Course I am," Kestrelclaw said with a grin as he followed Jaywing out of the den. Though he'd never say such a thing as it'd be sure to irk the tom even more, Kestrelclaw couldn't help but be reminded of his own siblings, especially Darkflower, when he talked to Jaywing. His brothers weren't quite so snappy, although Timberfoot had the potential to be--but as for his sister, there was always something...sad, almost lonely about her, that she hid with a rough exterior, and he got the same sort of feeling from Jaywing. He was sure that deep down, a cat that was just too soft for their own good lay inside each of them. He took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh morning air, before letting it out in a sigh.

The queen had slowly emerged from the nursery, it was odd to be there as she hadn't been there long. The nest there still didn't feel as comfortable as the one she had been use to resting in for moons in the warriors den. She had only moved into the nursery not even a half of a moon now, it had only been a few nights though it felt odd not to be with her friends. Though she couldn't help but be thrilled about to be having in a moon or so some kits. She couldn't tell how many but she would be happy long as they were healthy.
Badgerlight glanced around the camp seeing cats getting ready to go on patrols for the day and take out their apprentices. She was going to miss that for the time being but she was also happy to give the clan some kits that will become warriors one day. The queen headed over to the fresh-kill pile to try to find something to eat until the hunting patrol came back with more.

Bravepaw didn't mean to sleep in so when he awoke and realized the sun was peaking into the den he groaned. He shook his fur and quickly gave himself a small grooming so his nest wasn't completely stuck on his fur. He only hoped Lightingwing wasn't going to be upset then again his mentor hadn't tried to wake him up yet which only meant it was going to be alright. The tom calmed down as he looked around the camp as he left the apprentice den.

Snowpelt had managed to sleep until she heard all the shifting of the last few warriors leaving the den. Hopefully she hadn't overslept too bad. She didn't want to get on Vixenbite's bad side for sleeping in, however she wasn't even the last warrior to leave the warriors den at least. She noticed her daughter, Icepaw, heading over to Swiftstep and Southwind but frowned once as she could tell her daughter didn't even acknowledge her. It had been hard on both of them for her mates death, she could tell her daughter was taking it harder than she was.

Icepaw had been waiting for her mentor eagerly outside of the apprentice den however she hadn't gotten to the point yet to start calling out for her. When she saw Swiftstep had came out of the warriors den, she headed over to the warrior contently. Everyday she had kept feeling ready to do her warrior assessment however she knew it must of not been quite the right time yet as Swiftstep hadn't mentioned doing one in a few moons. "Morning Swiftstep. Are we going on a patrol today or doing some training of sorts?" She asked her mentor, she didn't know what else she could even really learn at this point. She could always do some battle training but it wasn't all that common now that the two clans were in peace again. She gave Southwind a nod of acknowledgement, not realizing she may had interrupted them.

Embershine had woken up early and was unable to fall back asleep. Instead of just laying around and waiting for everyone else to get up, the warrior decided to take this time to practice her fishing skills. It was the perfect opportunity with everyone asleep so they weren’t around to distract her or watch her failures. She always had better luck chasing or jumping for prey than she did sitting Idly and waiting for the right moment to strike. The calico gently made her way through the warrior’s den and heading to where the river ended on their territory. The sun started to break out into the sky, casting a variety of colors when the warrior got to her destination. Embershine glanced around and confirmed that no one was there at the moment before padding closer to the shore’s edge. The only way to get better at something was to practice, this was she was able to provide her clan better during the times the fish was more plentiful. She took a moment to absorb the beauty of the sunrise across the water and the peace that went with it. Embershine ducked down and walked until her shadow was casting away from the water so it didn’t scare away the fish. The she-cat waited patiently for a fish to appear and it wasn’t too long before she was rewarded with a silvery gleam reflecting from the water. Splashing her hooked paw into the water, it came back up with nothing in tow and the fish gone. Determined to get a fish, Embershine decided to try again but this time she managed to go head first in from too much momentum and poor balance. By the time the sky settled into its blue tone of early morning, the warrior had managed to catch two fish of average size. The calico watched the water intensely, too stubborn to head back to camp without at least one more fish. Her tail tip twitched and she tensed up with anticipation for another shine from the water.

A n eagle cried, making Stormeye whip his head to the side. The tabby had been watching the sun rise just outside of camp, closer to the very peak of the mountain. Now his intense amber eyes scanned the skies for trouble. He finally spotted the eagle: too far away to scare him, soaring gracefully over the mountain's pine forest. He relaxed as he noticed how far away it was. The tom stood up and began to pad back inside of the camp. The cave-like dip in the ground had become familiar to him, though he had not been here long. He felt at home.
As he entered the den, Stormeye caught Petalstar's calico pelt outside of her den in the corner of his eye. He quickly turned his gaze: Tigerstar, the leader when she was just Petalfall, had allowed him here, now her. Petalstar had made it clear that if she'd been in charge, he wouldn't have been welcome in PeakClan. Nonetheless, the tom tried to please her. Now, Stormeye settled down and began grooming his pelt. He was thin - he hadn't been eating well lately. His thoughts wandered to Creekpaw. He missed sharing prey with her in the evenings, after their duties were complete. He hoped that she was being taken care of well.

S p a r r o w c a l l ' s breaths were soft and slow with sleep. Her back paws kicker out - in her dreams, she was chasing a hare over the open mountaintop. That's it, that's it, just a bit further... The dilute calico queen leaped, sailing off the ground, and she was just about to slam her paws down-
"Watch it!" Sparrowcall jerked awake, sitting up in alarm. She saw Rabbitfur glaring at her and ducked her head in embarrassment. "Sorry Rabbitfur...I was chasing rabbits in my dream, funnily enough!"

T h e gray tabby had been fast asleep, his tail tucked over his nose, when two hindpaws connected to his back, nearly knocking him out of his nest. He woke with a start, his claws unsheathing as he faced his attacker: before realizing it was only Sparrowcall, moving around like a nervous squirrel in her nest. "Watch it!" He hissed, causing the queen to jerk awake with a prod of his paw.
"Sorry, Rabbitfur...I was chasing rabbits in my dream, funnily enough!" the queen said to him as her fur settled. Rabbitfur rolled his eyes. He glanced towards Lostface's nest. He didn't want to disturb his sister, so instead, stood up and hopped down out of the den without another word. He certainly had no interest in talking to Sparrowcall. She had her problems, and he didn't want to hear about them. It was easier for him to sit outside of the den and groom his pelt until Lostface woke up - so that's just what he was going to do.

In the winter, they lined and covered it with snow - he knew that time would soon be here. After dropping the bird, he turned to Darkflower. "Thank you," the broad, dark tabby said. "Now, where would you like to hunt at?"

He's probably lost a life, or something just as severe to keep him unwell for so long." He traced the clearing, spotting his sibling trotting away from Timberfoot and Vixenbite. "Well, there she is." The stone-gray tom began to stalk towards the deputy, not bothering to make sure Kestrelclaw was following - Jaywing knew he would.

"It has been quiet," Yewbriar said, stretching out in the sun. His tortoiseshell pelt shined in the sunlight, and he purred as he began to feel warm and comfortable. He could see Badgerlight leaving the nursery from across camp though, and he looked over at the queen. "I do think we'll have kits soon enough," He told Blossomcloud. "Badgerlight's already moved into the nursery, so it won't be long. And when new-leaf comes I'm sure there will be too many kits around here to count again!" He laughed. All of the apprentices had at one point been in the nursery together, causing chaos around camp. "At least when they're apprentices they bring us fresh-kill."
