" I know," Dappleleaf mewed warmly. She was glad Weaselstripe hadn't brought up the rogue again, as he had been pretty irritated with her. She hoped the rogue wouldn't be back, know that Weaselstripe had chased it off. She enjoyed the tom's company - now, though, she was becoming more aware of the rift that had fallen between them in the time it had taken him to become a warrior. She had been focused on her new duties - now, though, she realized that her friendships were important, too, and would be working on their bond once more. D e e r t a i l ' s fur lifted slightly with panic. Silversnow and Reedwhisker were very in love, from what he'd seen, and if his feelings for Foxcloud told him anything, her death would be the end of his world. "That's horrible," he started, wanting to comfort the tom, but unsure how to do it. "Why - I mean, why does she think that? Has she been to see Daydream? Surely he will figure out what's wrong with her, he'll have something to heal her..." the tom trailed off, hoping that wasn't a lie. Russetswirl had been a wonderful medicine cat - and he had trained Daydream, who was now just as good. He'd seen a high success rate from the tom with healing injuries, and didn't doubt his skills. But still, did every illness have a cure? Had she already been to Daydream, and he'd told her he had nothing to heal her? His pelt prickled with worry for her.

"Oh, I see," Darkpaw murmured, sort of wishing he could relate. He didn't have any brothers or sisters--not that he really wanted them anyway. "Well, that's good. Glad you enjoyed it."

"I think Quiverpaw needs the extra attention, too," Littleflower added. The apprentice was sweet, but shaky as a leaf on a branch in leaf-bare--or at least, she had been, but Littleflower noticed an improvement in her since Mistflower started training her. "Me too," she agreed with Swiftbadger. "I guess we'd better enjoy our late mornings while we still can! We have so many kits, it won't be long now before they become apprentices. I'm sure at least one of us will have one in the next few moons."

"Well...almost," Southstar admitted. It wasn't long before camp came into sight and he stopped at the camp entrance, allowing his clanmates to enter in, but he remained outside. "Stagleap," he said when the new warrior passed by, a good-natured purr in his voice, "I don't think I need to tell you how to watch vigil. Just sit by the camp entrance all night, no eating, no talking or anything like that. Got it?" He waited until she and all the others had gone in before blocking the camp entrance with his tail, barring only Foxcloud from entering. "Want to take a walk with me?" he asked her, nodding towards the deeper part of the forest.

Mistflower nodded her head once. "Well I'm sure you will be great mentors even though you haven't had ones in awhile," she teased them and licked Littleflower's ear once. "I'm sure it will be nice, I for one will be excited for when Quiverpaw is done with training and not having early morning training sessions at least for a little while." She loved training Quiverpaw but she was excited for her mornings off again, she enjoyed being a mentor though. It was bittersweet. When she noticed Foxcloud staying behind to talk to Southstar, she was a bit surprised as she expected the she-cat to be eager to find Deertail. However she knew that Southstar did love talking to all of his warriors.

"Almost huh?" Foxcloud scoffed before she remained by the tom's side as the other members of their clan had headed inside of the camp. She was surprised that Southstar had kept her from entering though she didn't mind. She had shifted her paws some and gave a small nod. "A walk would be nice," she agreed as she brushed against the tom's pelt once before she headed towards the deeper part of the forest, flicking her tail for him to follow.

When they arrived to camp she stopped hearing Southstar call her name and she nodded her head. "Of course Southstar," she bowed her head and glanced at the camp before looking at Quiverpaw. "I'll see you in the morning," she told her friend quietly as they had approached the camps entrance.

Southstar bounded ahead of Foxcloud, leading her on with his tail. The full moon shine brightly above, but he walked beneath the shade of the trees, hidden from the light. As he padded along, a faint soothing scent hit his nostrils and he could just barely make out the soft shade of purple in the light of the moon--patches of lavender, scattered throughout the undergrowth. He beckoned with his tail for Foxcloud to join him as he stalked into the sweet-smelling plants. "I know you like me," he told her plainly, his knowing gaze locking with hers.
