She nodded back at Blossomwing and watched as she padded away. "Meet back here when you've caught at least three prey animals," Sagedeer finally called out. A familiar scent washed over her, and she growled along with Swanpelt, but mainly in frustration. She glanced over at Blossomwing, who had come back at the mention of a rogue and sighed heavily. Do they know that I still have a rogue family? Sagedeer wondered before ordering, "Let's go check it out. If we can smell them, they shouldn't be far from here."

At least Blossomwing was back to her sharp-tongued ways, but in going out of her way to dismiss Swanpelt's observation, it seemed she was not terribly focused on defending LightningClan's borders. If it was so obvious that this rogue had been hanging around for moons, then it was just more of a reason to take action. Judging by Sagedeer's heavy sigh, it was likely the deputy felt the same.
"Then, it's about time someone does something about that rogue, and it might as well be us."
Swanpelt nodded firmly to Sagedeer after receiving the order. This rogue needed to be reminded to be more respectful of clan territory. He made a mental note to make sure someone refreshed the border markers around here as well.

Just a Darrel was turning away and directing his paws back toward the border, he heard a voice, which instantly occupied the entirety of his attention. The black-and-white tom lashed his tail, irritated at having been discovered after all. It seemed that robin from before was not the only thing lurking about.
He half-turned, his body at a ninety-degree angle to the small, black cat that was addressing him. Darrel could not help but smirk at the warning the clan cat uttered. While he claimed warriors would "attack on sight", Darrel had been seen and remained un-touched. Besides, he was fairly confident he could hold his own against this single, tiny, so-called "warrior". It was an empty threat if ever there was one. Still, there was no need to pick an unnecessary fight. Darrel shrugged and side-stepped a few paces from the black tom, moving towards the border like he had intended either way, but he did not avert his gaze for a moment. To turn his back completely would be terribly unwise until he verified whether his opponent intended to chase him or not.

He managed to catch a small rabbit, near the borders, without trespassing it. He perked his ears and looked up to the sky, wondering if the patrols were being left to do their rounds, as for now the forest was being seen somewhat silent, but he didn't really want to be seen by the clan cats, as long it was not his sister Sagedeer. Thinking for a while he decided to move a little bit further away from the borderline, taking the dead rabbit with him.

Frowning at Swanpelt's words, she wished she wasn't the one to have to confront the rogue. Specifically because it's Halfbone at the border, Sagedeer thought and started padding along the border again. "They don't go over the border, but they shouldn't be around the border," she told Blossomwing and sighed as well. She sniffed the air again and added, "I don't think I've scented this other rogue before."

Don't step foot into our territory again," he warned with a smirk, knowing he would be able to report that he had chased a rogue out of their territory back to Leopardstar. He would finally be able to gain the respect he deserved from the rest of the Clan. If they even believe me, that is... he thought, feeling rather defeated.

Upon further investigation, the patrol had discovered a second scent along with the first. Swanpelt smelled it as well, and it only served to prove him right as far as he was concerned.
"Did they bring a friend?" he wondered aloud.
One rogue was easy, but a group of rogues could be must more dangerous. Swanpelt bristled at the thought of mangy rogues stealing prey from LightningClan. He was not keen to share with anyone who had no intention of contributing something in return. That thought was more than enough to convince Swanpelt to leap in headfirst and fix this problem before it got any worse. Swanpelt flexed his shoulders, more than ready to move out.
"So, let's go show them LightningClan won't stand for this!"

Just as he approached, Robinpaw must have noticed his presence. He saw her head peek out from behind a tree and curiously meow his name. Whinchatclaw hesitated for just a moment, but quickly recovered and took a few more steps towards Robinpaw.
"Hello, Robinpaw. Are you collecting herbs again?"
It was a solid guess. Whinchatclaw hoped he was right, and that he was not intruding.
"I just thought you might have use for an extra set of paws?"
He ventured a friendly smile as he cocked his head sideways. It was true. He wanted to help. He was always doing things to help. All he seemed to hear was to do less things to help and do more taking care of himself instead. That was all this was. Just helping.

Everything was fine. They had come to an understanding. There was no need to waste time and effort with conflict. At least, for a mere few seconds. Then, that little, black scrap of a warrior just had to open his mouth. Darrel's ears were flattened against his skull before he even noticed they had moved. It was completely unnecessary to be so arrogant when Darrel was cooperating in the first place, but Darrel refused to give the tom the satisfaction of letting things escalate. Darrel had been around for enough moons to know antagonism when he saw it. He figured this runt probably had a chip on his shoulder, or maybe just an inflated ego.
Instead, he turned his back on the other cat and continued walking, at least for a few steps, but Darrel also had no intention of being bossed around by clan cats. So, he stopped, turned his head to look over his shoulder, and parted his jaws in a luxurious yawn to demonstrate just how terrified he was feeling at the moment. Which was, of course, not at all.

indentLittlefang could tell that this rogue was rather hostile and would pick a fight if necessary. He knew the majority of the Clan would have attacked him at sight, but Littlefang didn't see the need to, as he had already listened to his orders and had gotten out of their territory. He found it rather unnecessary to unsheathe his claws in the case that it could be avoided. At the sight of the tom giving him a yawn, he narrowed his eyes into slits, digging his claws into the ground. With his ears flattened against his head, he began to turn around to head a different direction. It seemed the rogue was trying to interrogate him and Littlefang did not want to fall into his trap. He cast a glance over his shoulder every so often to ensure that the tom didn't follow. He had disappeared into the undergrowth, frustrated that everything was going awful this morning.
