Flitz smirked lightly, sensing Embers had given up. "And I don't read minds. I watched your eyes, and you have some tics and twitches that you never notice. I control mine." Flitz turned to Yuki. "I smell a troop of larger rabbits, right about...." Flitz plunged a thumbed paw into the soil, withdrawing 3 large rabbits. "If we hurry, we can catch more." Downing one rabbit to shear the edge off he appetite, Flitz plunged through the topsoil, cracking a few rabbits on their heads as she tunneled down into the huge rabbit warren set in the bedrock. In a matter of thirty seconds,(+.387 nanoseconds) Flitz was creating chaos in the rabbit tunnels.

Embers smiled,then joined in the hunt. She stood in front of one of the exits and gulped down the rabbits as they came shooting out, fleeing from Flitz's chaos.

Flitz emerged, gulping down a few rabbits. "Urkkk...."Flitz groaned. "Abdomen pain, but not from overeating. Possibly..." She trailed off, realizing the only other possible option. Thinking aloud, she muttered out the reasons why it was reasonable. "Have been very round lately, hungry, cravings, mood swings....Urrrk!"

Embers looked up in concern, letting a hare run right by her nose. "What?!" she listened to Flitz, eyes growing round. "What do you mean?" she said uncertainly.

Flitz was jolted out of her muttering stupor by Embers's voice. It was the first time Flitz had actually let slip(said aloud) any of her inner thinking. Flitz grinned her same infuriating smirk, but weakly. "Well, I don't know how, but apparently I am getting the symptoms of egging. This is impossible, yet happening. But still, it may be only the symptoms. Urrkk!"

Embers shook her head, wondering. She had guessed when Flitz first spoke of her symptoms, but hearing her say it out loud still shocked her. "What? I mean- how?" she stammered.

Yuki watched Flitz tunnel through, some rabbits popping up to the surface. She quickly and accurately shot small ice balls at three of them that would immediately freeze when subjected to a warm-blooded creature's heat, thus freezing them in their tracks. It was so much easier hunting land animals than fowls that flew in the air! She then glided over and ate them all. Crunchy and cold, just how she liked them.

Then when Flitz emerged and started moaning in pain, she looked, eyes cast in confusion and wonder and blurted the first thing that came to mind, "Are you pregnant?!"

Flitz looked at Yuki, disbelievingly. "Yuki, has your brain frozen? A dragon my age is too young to be able to egg. Besides, this phase has gone now." Flitz straightened. "Thank goodness for that. But now, I have other worries." Flitz paused, looked at her belly, and glanced up. "I'm getting fat!"

(XD Flitz is a very petite dragon. She does not gain weight often.)

Yuki squinted. "Well... I heard that there was a phase a while back where kallick dragons were trying to figure out if our brain was frozen, below freezing water temperature, since we are of ice. So yes, there is a possibility that my brain is indeed frozen. I don't think you're getting fat. You've just the right proportions for a dragon your size. Just my type."

Flitz laughed. "No, I meant i'm gaining weight. Not used to it." Flitz ran around on an updraft. "I'm getting bored. What an epidemic." She lazily looped around. "Ah, yesterday, I noticed a young dragon hunting near one of my kallick caves. Her name was something like Rash...No, more like Ash. She looks remarkably like Apollo, if you ask me."
