q: how would your character feel about their author? do you think you’d get along?

i'd definitely get along better with addison. thiago's a bit too introverted. i wouldn't not get along with him at all, but we probably wouldn't be close friends. the same would probably ring true in reverse. addison would want to be good friends with me, while thiago would be intimidated by my loud, stereotypical extrovert behavior. he wouldn't dislike me, though!

Note: There's something "off" about Nessa.
Maybe it's the slight webbing between her fingers and toes. The way every sound makes her subtly cringe, as if she's not used to hearing human voices. Or maybe it's her odd proportions - arms and neck a little too long, even on her towering yet willowy 6'3" frame.

You'll probably find out the truth eventually, whether you make a friend or enemy of her.

as for how my character's would feel about me...
jen overall isn't real friendly. neither am i typically lol. so, i feel like if we did somehow
end up talking, we'd bond over our love of archery, the forest, and our hatred of most p
eople.
as for dem, i see her approaching me first, introducing herself, etc. she's clearly a more
likable individual. i don't see us having any issues, though i'd probably get sick of how so
cial she is if say... we were friends and she was talking to a bunch of strangers while i ju
st kinda.. hung around? so yeahhh.

Quinn: I am kind of quiet but if we ever ended up on the topic of making clothing we could probably forge a friendship through that. Quinn makes fashion pieces and I make my own cosplay.
Aisling: She is a sweet bean so I think she could put up with my awkwardness. I don't think we would be close friends though since I don't have many close friends to begin with.
Diana: I doubt we would ever talk to each other. We are both quiet and I doubt we would run in the same groups. She is very athletic and I am a homebody.
Fern: She literally only likes one person and nobody else is even on her radar so we wouldn't speak or get along. She is much to indifferent for me.

Commander Atlanta
[★] A number of things draw the commander, including intelligence, fighting talent, and emotional strength. She also appreciates gentlemanly behavior from any gender.
[✘] Atlanta would be uncomfortable if her partner treats her like an authority. She's the commander in her professional life only, not in her love life.


Sycamore
[★] She is drawn to compassionate, sweet people who are emotionally open with her. Mutual respect and trust is key. Oh, and lots of warm cuddles.
[✘] Sycamore doesn't understand apathetic or overly pessimistic people. Also, any sort of belittling attitude will put a swift end to one's chances.


Gavotte
[★] His 'type' is scary on the outside, but with a hidden heart of gold. Powerful women draw him, and he lives to see the fiery determination in their eyes.
[✘] Loud, obnoxious, immature behaviors annoy him. Gavotte isn't very outgoing, and he prefers a partner who can spend quiet time with him without yelling, running around, etc.


Ardai
[★] Fun-loving Ardai wants a partner in crime, someone he can laugh with. He doesn't have a specific 'type'. Usually his crushes bloom from existing, long-running friendships.
[✘] Ardai is uncomfortable with killjoys who are serious all the time, especially if they think his cheerful attitude is stupid. Even worse is when they believe their negativity makes them superior.


Prince Alastair
[★] First things first- respect for boundaries. Other than that, Alastair is drawn to kindred spirits with a genuine light in their soul. Good listening skills and an understanding, compassionate personality are the way to his heart. He also needs someone stronger than himself, at least emotionally - he deeply desires a protector.
[✘] Power imbalances make him incredibly uncomfortable. He is absolutely not okay with his partner being timid and fearful, seeing him as their strong, authoritative leader. On the other end of the spectrum, an aggressive partner who pushes his boundaries would also make him miserable.

Quinn:
♥ - Quinn is a strong believer that whomever he is with will be he partner for life, so he wants someone who will be like his best friend. Someone who is will to accept him and all his flaws. Bright personalities and a love for having fun are also big pluses.
✘ - Trying to change who Quinn is would be the biggest turn off for him. He doesn't want to change for someone, he wants to be accepted for who he is. The best way to an unhealthy relationship would be to reinforce all his negative thoughts about himself while diminishing all the positive aspects. Another way would be through controlling.

Aisling:
♥ - Respect is a big thing for Aisling, respect for herself and for her partner will go a long ways in creating a healthy relationship. Kindness, and understanding and a desire to be a better version of ones self is also something she looks for in a partner. She wants to be able to grow along side her partner.
✘ - Aggression and the trait of looking down on another person are huge turn offs. She just can't stand people who believe themselves to be better than everyone else.

Diana:
♥ - A bright and strong individual is what Diana is looking for. She values honesty, strength, intelligence and a strong sense of justice. An added bonus for anyone who can match her steel.
✘ - Weak willed individuals that have to rely on others, and that applies to both physical and mental strength. She has no interest in being a baby sitter or having to mince her words in order to not cause a disaster.

Fern:
♥ - If she were interested in such thing it would have to be someone who allowed her to be whoever she wants to be. Full freedom and not control.
✘ - Anyone who tries to control Fern or demands that she do something she doesn't want to is instantly a non-contender.

Robin:
| Someone with a respect for nature and personal boundaries. Robin would want someone who can understand her not being keen on constantly hanging out, and would understand the importance of nature and leaving it be when needed. She also likes someone who can listen, as well as be open if they need help.
| Someone who is obnoxious, secretive, or a persistent gift giver. Robin respects that people like to express themselves in different ways, but she'd prefer to not have someone who is loud or flashy as a partner. Robin deeply values trust in a relationship, and sees lying, secrecy, and cheating as a high offense. To her, someone who acts secretive around a partner doesn't trust them in the first place. Finally, she wouldn't want a partner who likes to give a large amount of gifts. Exorbitant spending on her behalf makes her vastly uncomfortable.

Aida:

| Someone who can match her energy, and someone who is a friend before a partner. Aida believes that a partner should be just as good of a friend as a spouse, and someone Aida would hang out with in a non-romantic scenario.
| Someone who puts down others for their own benefit. Aida can't stand gossips, bullies, or just snide people. She also wouldn't want someone who is more introverted, mostly because she knows they wouldn't be able to enjoy spending time together. What's the point of being with someone if you can't be happy around each other??
