She watched as Southstar and Blizzardclaw hopped up to make their announcements. Perking her ears up, she turned to look up at them and listen to their announcements.

Blizzardclaw glared at Tigerblaze and if he hadn't had Southstar coming over to him, he proudly would of given the warrior a piece of his mind. But there was no point in that, Tigerblaze was more than stubborn and maybe he was a bit right - he wasn't there he didn't know what happened but he did know Mistflower just wanted to talk. She had been saying that to him everytime she came to a gathering and she finally did it and now Tigerblaze just blew her off. "Yes Southstar, I'm all ready," he nodded to the Eagleclan leader before he slowly had jumped up where the leaders sat. However he felt uncomfortable up there when he did sit as it wasn't his place. But he had a feeling he may be representing Oakclan again next moon so he had to deal with it.

Weaselstripe watched Dappleleaf leave him and frowned a bit, unsure of how he was even feeling at the current moment. He then had glanced at Blizzardclaw who seemed bothered by Tigerblaze, he felt like he had missed something and sighed. The tom thought of the loner he just met which made his tail go down, she was nice but so was Dappleleaf. He knew the right from the wrong but the wrong felt so hard. He tried to push away his feelings as he found a seat as Blizzardclaw and Southstar seemed ready to get started. Of course he would end up the apprentices somehow, it didn't matter though to him as some of them were only a few moons younger but the others such as Bearpaw - he was much older than.

The only thing that brought her happiness was that her apprentice seemed to be having a good time with the other apprentices. It made her feel good enough that she wasn't planning on coming to another gathering, she had no need to. She wasn't a deputy and she wasn't as social with Oakclan other than Blizzardclaw and his kin. She should of offered Deertail her spot to come to the gathering.

Stagleap purred at her former mentors praise before she frowned as she went to leave, though she understood why as it was routine. She stayed close to Elmshade as she was the only cat she really knew other than Goldenrose which despite being in her clan she didn't talk to the warrior all that much.

Despite his dispute with Blizzardclaw just a moment ago, Tigerblaze didn't hesitate to make his way to the roots of the tree to sit beneath the OakClan deputy, next to Streamspot, when he was stopped by a voice behind him and turned to see Swiftbadger. "Evening, Swiftbadger," he meowed politely, if a bit suspiciously. He wondered what the gray tabby could want with him just as the gathering was beginning. 'Probably come to reprimand me for hurting poor Mistflower's feelings,' he guessed. "Can I help you?"

"Thanks!" Splashpaw tilted her head happily. "I hope I do. I'm sure you would be a good mentor, too. You seem nice, and that's really what apprentices need, is a nice mentor."

EagleClan

As Swiftbadger went off in Tigerblaze's direction, Littleflower made her way to Mistflower, who was lying with her head on her paws on the edge of the crowd. "Hey, Mistflower," she greeted her clanmate with a small smile. "You okay?"

Southstar hopped up to his respective spot after Blizzardclaw. He had thought offering to let the OakClan deputy go first, but sensed that the tom seemed a bit uncomfortable, and decided to go first so as to give the silver tabby a chance to collect his thoughts. "Welcome, cats of OakClan and EagleClan," he started off. "Prey is running well for EagleClan, and I can only hope the same is true for OakClan. With leaf-bare just around the corner, we have been lucky to be as healthy as we are. I pray that StarClan continues to watch over us both and bless us with enough prey and good health." He paused for a moment, then continued. "We have been scenting a kittypet lately at our border with Twolegplace. She was chased off without a problem today, and so far we haven't scented her anywhere else other than at that border. Still, be on the look out for any sign of trespassers." He had wondered if it was a good idea to mention the 'kittypet' at the gathering, as he didn't want to upset Streamspot--but still, if Honey was hanging around the territories, even if she was sticking mostly to EagleClan's, he wanted OakClan to be aware, if only to give her incentive to stay away in case she should ever cross their paths. He scanned the crowd of cats for a moment, searching for Stagleap, before he picked her out among the crowd. "Finally, tonight is a special night, for we have a new warrior. She has trained long and hard to earn her name, and her determination has paid off. Please welcome the newest warrior of EagleClan, Stagleap!"

"Why'd you have to go and ruin my fun?" Darkpaw asked Jackdawpaw, but his tone was more humorous than annoyed. He turned to look at Southstar when he heard his leader's voice ring out throughout the clearing, but less than a minute in he began to look awfully bored, as if he was only half listening, only perking up a bit to chant Stagleap's name for the second time that day to be polite.

Streamspot gave Tigerblaze a long look as he came and sat near her in the deputy's place. Apparently he had appointed himself stand-in deputy since Blizzardclaw was acting as leader for their clan. She said nothing to the tom though. He was OakClan's problem. She looked back up at Southstar as he began. Her ears flicked back as he mentioned the kittypet and called it a 'she'. This reminded her how badly she still needed to know what had happened earlier in the day. It was a good thing Stagleap had her warrior ceremony to distract her otherwise she would have been worrying all night. She had to make sure she spoke to Southstar after the gathering. She spotted her apprentice when Southstar announced her new name. "Stagleap! Stagleap!" she called loudly.

"Oh," Bearpaw meowed sounding unconvinced as Jackdogpaw told her it wasn't true. She focused up at the tree watching Southstar as he spoke. "Stagleap!" she called out the new warriors name. Then she quickly licked her fur down and puffed out her chest lifting her head high. It was almost time for her name to be announced! She forced her paws to stay still though she felt like jumping up and down.

Blizzardclaw glanced down at Tigerblaze, glaring slightly at the tom for a moment before letting it pass. If he ever did become leader, the tom probably would be the last cat he would choose as deputy. In all honesty he would probably choose a younger cat - possibly Dappleleaf, she was a strong warrior and also could handle the emotional tasks as well. He blinked once as Southstar had began the gathering, his ear twitching as he heard of the kittypet and slowly nodded. While Southstar had shared the news of Stagleap, he purred and dipped his head. "Congratulations Stagleap," he mewed once and took a slow deep breath as he glanced at all the cats before deciding to focus on one of them.
"We - Oakclan - have also been grateful for the prey as well and preparing for leaf-bare. Thank you for letting us know about the kittypet, we will watch our border with the twoleg place but we hadn't scented any on our side in a long time," he nods once before he looked for Bearpaw in the audience. "I give the pleasure of introducing our new apprentice Bearpaw, I know in a few moons you will become a great warrior and serve their clan proudly."

J a c k d a w p a w didn't respond, only flicked an ear in amusement, as the leaders were beginning to speak. He liked this tom's sense of humor and thought, perhaps, that if he were in OakClan, that they would be good friends. He could almost see them sitting in the apprentices' den, watching the Clan and commenting on what was happening in only snide remarks. It would be fun. As Southstar and Blizzardclaw began to speak, he kept the side of his eye on Bearpaw, hoping that she'd stay quiet. He also hoped she would be proud when Blizzardclaw announced her name.

He'd never heard them announce something important - at least, not since they announced him earning his warrior name, that is. She wondered if Southstar had announced her apprenticeship too, like Blizzardclaw did with Bearpaw. She was sure he had, and was glad she hadn't been here - the queen would have hated every moment that the Clans' eyes were on her. She would have been more embarrassed than she could imagine.

Streamspot smiled as the Clans chanted Stagleap's name. She saw the young cat waving her tail at her and almost had to laugh. This is your time. Don't worry about me! She wished she could tell her. She turned to listen to Blizzardclaw. "Bearpaw!" she called out the new apprentice's name. She remained suspicious when Blizzardclaw didn't mention Beestar's absence. Hopefully she wasn't sick or lost the kits. It seemed strange the Clan wouldn't announce their new members.
