Mouseheart paused in his stride, mouth slightly agape. The news was truly troubling; Velvetstar could be more than a nuisance under the right circumstances. Yet, the omega suspected that the new alpha - or, alpha to-be, technically - wasn't nearly as concerned as Mouseheart was, judging by the fact that he was moving at a tortoise's pace and sounded as happy-go-lucky as ever. That was almost as annoying as the setback itself. Mouseheart sighed quietly, bushy eyebrows furrowing, before he continued. He begun walking faster, to catch back up with the group - until Lillysnap talked. It wasn't so much that she was talking that bothered Mouseheart (though that certainly wasn't helping), but, rather, what she was actually saying. His lip curled the tiniest bit with distaste at the blind casualness with which she addressed the most obvious potential danger. What did she have to be so happy about besides being invited, anyways? In spite of himself, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at what Willowstep "reassured" them with. "Sorry, but what reason do you have to believe ShadowPack won't take advantage of the absence of, not one, but two crucial ranks? It's ShadowPack."

Badgerstrike listened you their concerns and frowned a bit, thinking over his mental map of the territory. “From the gathering place we can see the Moonpool. If we hurry we should be able to make it just in time I believe. We really can’t afford to miss it I don’t think. You all will have to do your best in this journey. I know you don’t get out of camp the way that warriors do. But passing yourselves will make the journey go by faster.” He said looking at the suns position through the trees while leading them to the bridge.

Skyfrost walked slowly, being sure that her heavy paws were silent against the ground. She snuck around, as close as she dared to the Shadowpack camp. Suddenly, she heard a noise. She jerked her head up and looked around, preparing to run if the need arose.
What was that? she growled softly.

Lillysnap wagged her tail softly. "Is the moonpool pretty?" she asked Willowstep, attempting to change the subject to something a little more light-hearted. "Obviously I've never been but I've heard it's amazing," she giggled, prancing along the path they followed.

She was telling Acornpup all about her pack and how it was different from other packs. Like how there wasn't an omega and that every dog and wolf dog was treated as an equal. How every dog protected their pack or kingdom as they called it and how warriors here were called knights in her pack. They also had special animal companions that were just as brave and true as the dogs and wolf dogs in her kingdom.

He was racing Silverwind, he ran past trees and bushes, streams and rabbits. He could feel Silverwind's wings tickling his ears as he ran. He felt joyous being able to run full pelt and not have a care in the world. No Shadowpack warriors bossing him around, no cruel leader, just him and Silverwind living away from the packs.

A golden and white fluffy wolfdog mix was running through the trees stopping to talk to birds when ever they chirped. They were talking about a hawk and a dog. She'd have to find that pair and talk to them. She then saw three dogs on a mountain and decided to follow from a distance using her evasiveness to stay hidden.

Shade bounced up with energy, "I'm feeling just great!" He beamed. "How are you?", he ignored the beginning of this new dog's sentence, for he was perplexed by what this stranger had said, but decided to push it away for the moment.

Willowstep sighed, hearing mousehearts comment, she slowed her pace. Now that they knew the general direction of the moonpool, she could hang back to speak with him. "I believe every canine has a good heart. If they are kind, they will not trespass, but if they are daring, and decide to, may starpack help them" she murmured, glancing down at the canine. She glanced to lillysnap, "Moonpool is indeed beautiful, once you experience it, you'll never forget its image" she promised, with a humble tone. With that, she trotted back to the front of the group, a limp in her step as usual.
