Emerald looked up at Indigo. "im Emerald." she said, her emerald eyes watching the group. when she heard battle her eyes brightened. she loved a a good fight. "well.......uh..... what do you mean going into battle? i mean, it sounds fun and all, and i love to fight, but who are we fighting?"

Ingo stepped forward, volunteering herself, after all, the crew was extremely small and Rodney wasn't really going to be a brill8iiant second in charge being only ten years old.

Rodney was about to step forward when he saw Ingo go, he knew he wasn't being sensible but he really wanted a piece of the action.

Emerald looked around eagerly, hoping someone could give her some info.

"Ingo," said Indigo, clapping her on the shoulder. "I couldn't have picked better myself. Now, Emerald, you want to know who we're fighting. It's a very long and very complicated story, but it deals mostly with revenge and the fact that one of our own is to be hanged at dawn- which will be here in just about two hour's time."

Emerald's glowing green eyes sparked a little at the thought of revenge. there was plenty of people she could give revenge too. she smiled and put her hand on her sword hilt. "ok works for me" she said trying not to show her excitement of fighting with her new crew. "when do we leave?"

Indigo narrowed her eyes slightly as the girl put a hand on the hilt of her sword. It quivered just a bit, but she caught it with her gaze and it was enough. "Not until we have a plan," she stated. "You're too eager to fight, too eager for bloodshed, but if there was any way to get Sonja out without having to fight at all, I'd say we should do that. Since there isn't, we're going to rescue her with as little violence as possible. We may be pirates, but we're not murderers."

Emerald smirked. "really?" she resisted rolling her eyes and knit her brows in concentration "does anybody have a map of the place where she is being held? just wondering"
