When we do the time-skip I'll do a little overview of what happened during the two moons. Quiverpaw and Darkpaw will also be warriors/near their warrior ceremonies, as seen fit by Southstar and their mentors. I'll leave that up to you three.

@animals, I was considering making a full-time queen in EagleClan, and thought perhaps that she and Creamflower could be friends. They can spend time at Gatherings together since they're the only ones in the Clan doing that currently, they can empathize!

B e e s t a r made her way down carefully. Once on the flat ground, she padded towards the fresh-kill pile, pleased to have her final duty for the evening out of the way. She was feeling unreasonably tired, but as she reached the fresh-kill pile, she found her appetite disappearing. Waving her tail in dismissal, she merely settled down outside of the pile to socialize with her Clan before they left. Having napped earlier - albeit interrupted by her dream - she didn't want to retire earlier than her warriors.

She curled into her nest, ready to rest up for their return. The queen curled into her nest, her tail falling over her nose, making her look at peace. She quickly drifted off to sleep.

"Agreed," Sunflare purred. He knew he probably wasn't the most useful when it came to kitting, but still, he'd be around if they needed him. "Robinwind is usually pretty nice, but he can get scary when he gets in the zone."

Riverstripe rose uncertainly to his paws, glancing around camp. He saw Beestar make her way to the center of camp and, after a moment of hesitation, padded towards her. "Excuse me, Beestar," he meowed, dipping his head. "Uh, I was just wondering...Dappleleaf looked a little disappointed that she wasn't chosen to go tonight. What do you think about us switching? About me staying here and her going to the gathering?" If his tail awkwardly flicking from side to side didn't give it away, he was sure she could see the nervousness on his face as he asked her. "I just thought, I went to last moon's, so maybe she should go this time." He shuffled his paws when he noticed the younger warrior had retreated to the warriors' den. Mouse-dung! But maybe it wouldn't be too late. She couldn't be sleeping yet.

"Yep! I'm an experienced gathering-goer," Splashpaw's purr sounded from behind Robinwind and the duo of apprentices. She had bounded over as soon as the meeting was dismissed, excited that she got to go with her closest clanmates. "Don't worry, you guys will have fun."

EagleClan

Nightwish blinked in surprise. "Is that okay?" she asked, then regretted it. He wouldn't have offered if it wasn't. He's the medicine cat after all! Not waiting for a response, she nodded eagerly and padded after him. "Thank you," she murmured shyly.

"What, your prized hare? I thought you were going to bring it to the gathering to show off tonight," Littleflower joked before snatching up the hare and carrying it to a spot where they had a good view of Southstar. She settled into a comfortable patch of grass and patted the ground with her tail, beckoning for Swiftbadger to follow.

Darkpaw bristled slightly at the sound of Quiverpaw's voice, more surprised than anything else that she had actually spoken to him. He quickly chewed and swallowed his mouthful of shrew before replying, "Uh, I'm not sure. I didn't go last moon so maybe? What about you?"

Once his clanmates had gathered, Southstar continued. "Cats of EagleClan, tonight is the night of the gathering, but before I choose who's going, I have several important announcements to make. The first of which is that Russetswirl, our retired medicine cat, has chosen to take on certain warrior duties at his own pace, assisted by Acornspots as well as the rest of his clanmates if need be. During this time, he is free to either continue sleeping in the elders' den, or to join the warriors in theirs. I expect you all to be supportive and helpful to him." He flashed a smile at the former medicine cat and allowed a short pause for his clanmates to register the information before turning to Stagpaw. "Secondly...Stagpaw, step forward."

Blizzardclaw listened eagerly to who Beestar was letting them bring to the gathering, purring once as he heard his apprentice as among the others that was coming long with them. He was content with his leader's chosen warriors though when he glanced at his son he saw that he seemed annoyed to have been chosen though he didn't understand why. He has always been a fan of gatherings unlike Weaselstripe. He had finished up his prey when he watched Beestar carefully, he was worried about her and knew he would be while at the gathering.

Weaselstripe frowned some as he was chosen, he would of much appreciated if he had gotten to stay. Especially since Dappleleaf was staying, or wished she was getting to go as well. He blinked as he noticed that Riverstripe seemed disappointed that he was going to? But why? He didn't see why the older tom wouldn't of wanted to go.
The tom sighs and slowly headed inside of the warrior den, he wanted to try to talk to Dappleleaf before she did fell asleep. However he frowned as he found her already asleep, he was hoping to apologize before he left for the gathering but that just had to wait.

Mistflower had woken up from hearing Southstar's yowl and quickly left the warriors den. When she saw Quiverpaw with Darkpaw, she was a bit surprised before she joined along the side of Deertail and Foxcloud. She eyed Deertail once with a slight, I told you so look. She was more than happy for him but she did also feel a bit sad that she didn't have anyone.
When Southstar began to speak, she looked up at him, surprised by his news of Russetswirl. She never really thought Russetswirl was the warrior type but she could understand that he was probably bored of being in the camp all the time. Especially when he barely ever left camp beforehand as a medicine cat. Though the leader's next news did excite her even more, she was excited for Stagpaw to finally join them in the warrior den, she deserved it.

Robinwind mrrowed with amusement at the apprentices. He apprecitated Jackdawpaw being willing to help Ivypaw as well. As Splashpaw came over, he stepped aside to make room for her. "You'll all have a lot of fun." He agreed. "Just stay out of trouble. And make sure you all get something to eat. We don't want EagleClan thinking we're starving our apprentices," he said with a purr of laughter. He should probably eat something too, he had the feeling that he might not sleep much tonight. He had a lot to think about and a lot to do. Robinwind never slept very well when he was anxious.

Elmshade purred when Beestar said she would be going to the gathering. She was looking forward to it! And this would likely be the last she would have with Splashpaw as her apprentice. She looked around for the other cats who had been announced, and then padded over to Lostnight. "Hey Lostnight!" She purred. "Great night for the gathering, right! Are you excited?"

He looked toward his old mentor. He was happy the tom found a place amongst the clan. "Now he won't waste away," he whispered as he sat down in his place. He nodded to Stagpaw knowing this was the best time for their ceremony. He knew this was the proudest moment of an apprentice's life.

@stormy, accepted, they'll probably be ~2 moons after the timeskip. I'll make my form for the other kit later, as well as the queen I'm making for EagleClan! Just a side-note, Creamflower will be watching them when Beestar is busy with her duties, but she'll probably be in the leader's den with them for the most part, since she doesn't really need to move to the nursery.

You guys can begin making your kit forms, if you wish! Make sure you have clearance from the roleplayer's parents if you wish to make one. Beestar's litter is entirely taken. They'll be two moons after the skip, and Creamflower's and Honey's will be close to newborn, so keep that in mind when roleplaying with them. Their eyes will be just beginning to open and they'll have shaky, kitten-soft paws! Very cute, I miss having kittens around just thinking about this, lol.

I'll probably go ahead and begin updating the page for the time-skip, since I've got to bump everyone up by two moons and the only thing happening before then is the Gathering.

It's now officially dusk, the cats will be able to head to the Gathering once Southstar has finished with his announcements.

What would you guys think about a discussion thread? I know we're already 30 pages in, but I feel like I always have SO MUCH to say, and it makes my posts a mile long. Besides, I know not all of the info pertains to everyone, and I don't want you guys to have to dig through unrelated content that isn't a PSA for everyone if you're just trying to read my characters' posts, and I feel it will make it easier to discuss. Probably going to make one, I think I've convinced myself.

She got up and nuzzled her mate gently before leading them to move closer to hear Southstar a bit better. If Deertail went and she stayed she wouldn't be too sad especially if Quiverpaw was going, she knew he would be showing her around if Mistflower didn't. Relief washed over Riverstripe like a wave, even though he could tell she was clearly confused. "Thank you, Beestar," he murmured, bowing gratefully to her before heading straight for the warriors' den. To his surprise, he found that Dappleleaf was already asleep, but he didn't hesitate to prod her gently in an effort to wake her up. "Dappleleaf?" he called softly. "Dappleleaf, wake up. There's been a change."

"We will, we will," Splashpaw assured the medicine cat with a chuckle. "We're not going to fight them," she reminded Jackdawpaw, purring with amusement. "I bet by the time the gathering's over, you'll have a couple of EagleClan friends. Maybe even a crush or two." She nudged him jokingly.

Tigerblaze, who had been waiting by the camp entrance, flicked his ear to acknowledge Weaselstripe but said nothing. Though he stood still, his paws were itching to get moving. Blizzardclaw seemed to be on his way, talking with Bearpaw, but Riverstripe had run off to the warriors' den after a short talk with Beestar. What now? he thought irritably.

EagleClan

Nightwish thought it was a bit odd. She had never seen a cat move from the elders' den to the warriors'--but then again, she hadn't known very many elders. Still, she was happy for Russetswirl, and she could tell that Daydream was too. Russetswirl was his old mentor, after all, she reminded herself. She hoped that the former medicine cat would adjust well. She perked up when Southstar called Stagpaw forward, suddenly reliving her own experience at her own warrior ceremony. Without question, it was definitely the most exciting moment of any cat's life, at least she thought so.

"I know, right?" Littleflower whispered back, her mouth full of hare. "I bet you three mouse tails he's going to name her Stagspot, after her mentor."

Southstar's gaze rested upon Stagpaw for a moment, gentle but proud, before it rose to the darkening sky, where stars were just beginning to become visible. "I, Southstar, leader of EagleClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." Lowering his gaze once again to Stagpaw, he asked her, "Stagpaw, you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"Seriously?" Darkpaw blinked at her in surprise. How could she not have been to a gathering yet? But he bit his tongue before he could say what else was on his mind and simply shrugged. "Well, I guess there's a first time for everything. I bet you'll go tonight."
