now that you defeated the trainer, your health is
quite low. you could head back to the safety of town
and the pokecenter, run off to the ferry or
explore somewhere else!.

The Ember collides into Blitzle and the trainer returns it. He watches for a second, impressed, then hands me some money and a berry before running off in the other direction. I stare. Did humans usually give money to pokemon? When I battled with my trainer, she was the one who got the cash, even though I was the one battling.

My health is low, but I needed to get to the ferry in time. It's still far, far away. Besides, I have a collection of more than enough berries should I find myself in any trouble.

Shifting into a Blitzle, I let myself get a feel for hooves and my new height, then speed up to a gallop towards my destination.

What do you do? Star shifts into a Blitzle and runs towards the ferry!

(No matter how hard she tries, Star isn't getting to the ferry on time. She'll end up trying to find her trainer some other way, then get sidetracked.)
