"Hey little buddy! Glad to see you're ok now!" Bonnibel replied as the Charmander got up, swinging it's tail excitedly. Skadi and Chiaa chirped happily in response too, glad to see the fellow Pokemon up and at 'em. The trainer returned the hug, and her Pichu copied her, giving the Charmeleon the tiniest but happiest of hugs. Bonni smiled as she pat them both on the head.

"This day turned out super nice, why don't we head down to the ocean now?" Higgs bounced up and down and ran circles excitedly around the team in response - he couldn't wait! Bonni then turned to the Charmeleon. "I don't know if you have somewhere else or another trainer to go to, but you're welcome to come join us for a day at the ocean. We would be happy to have you join us for a day in the sun!" Chiaa, who had already jumped into her pocket, cried merrily in agreement.

((If I get to keep this guy, and he evolves, I will make it Charizard's mission to hug everyone lol.))

froakie levelled up to level 11 for beating
a higher level pokemon.

but wait..there seems to be something
happening with popplio..and a blue light
completely takes over its body.

after a few seconds, it dies down.

and now, in front of you, you have a
newly evolved brionne!

As both wild pokémon crumpled to the ground, thoroughly defeated, both Sinatra and Neptune began to celebrate their victory. The two water-types raced in circles around one another, chirping and croaking, respectively, in their excitement. Eva rushed over to meet them, scooping up a stray Leaf Stone on the ground as she did so. But as she leaned over to pick them up for a hug, Sinatra was enveloped in a soft blue glow.

"Popplio?" the Popplio barked, confused about what was happening.

"Whoah," Eva breathed, stepping back a little in awe. "Are you evolving?" Neptune ceased hopping, and the little frog let out a gasp of excitement as his friend began to stretch and change in shape.

Suddenly, the glowing ceased, and sitting in the middle of the grass was no longer a small Popplio, but a bright blue Brionne. "Ki, ki, ki!" Neptune cried in congratulations, hopping over to the newly-evolved Sinatra and slamming into him for a hug. The Brionne, startled by the embrace, nearly fell over, but quickly realized what was happening and hugged back.

Eva quickly released her other two pokémon, Circuit and Marigold, to let them see their friend's new form. Circuit scampered over, zapping Sinatra playfully with a nuzzle, while Marigold strutted towards the others leisurely, bumping noses with the Brionne first (who barked in appreciation) and then approaching Neptune. "Vuiiii," the Eevee cooed, licking the frog pokémon's cheek as a greeting. Neptune croaked happily.

Circuit scrabbled his way up Sinatra's back, before settling atop the Brionne's head with a self-satisfied chirrup. His long tail swung back and forth, while Sinatra hummed. "Great job, guys," Eva praised, watching all of her pokémon interact fondly. "That was a great battle. What should we do next?"

Terra let out a surprised grunt at the sudden added weight in her arms and she glanced down at the grookey "Huh. It's rare to see one of you in a place like Sinnoh" She said and a soft smile appeared on her face, her one hand was taken by the grookey as he played with her fingers "I think you'll make an excellent pokemon partner. In fact I have a perfect name for you already, Mojo" The Grookey stopped playing with Terra's hand and jumped up onto her shoulder "Grookey!" He cried out an excited agreement which led Terra to laugh softly at his action. She turned and left the lab, saying a quick farewell to the professor and his assistants before heading out onto route 202.
