The Popplio was absorbed into the pokéball with nothing but a quick shake, before the capsule clicked as a signal of a successful capture."Hey, buddy," she said, releasing the Popplio once more and ruffling his fur. The little blue seal crooned in response, a low, warbling note reminiscent of the siren song of a Primarina."That's a pretty song, little guy! Y'know what, that gives me an idea for what to call you. How does Sinatra sound?"

"Plio!" the newly-named Sinatra barked, sounding amenable. His cries caught the attention of Eva's other pokémon, who promptly swarmed the newcomer. The Popplio squeaked in surprise as he was suddenly overwhelmed by three little balls of energy, tackling him and scuffling around like young pokémon were wont to do.

As the four pokémon played together in excitement, Eva busied herself with packing up her things. She'd heard rumors of a good training and battle site near the Traveling Taillow, and today would be a good day to test Sinatra's battle capabilities as well as catching the rest of the team up to speed. Her PokéDex indicated that his level was much higher than her other teammates, so it would do them good to catch up!

"Frooooaaa," Neptune chirped, hopping over to Eva once he'd freed himself from the tangle of little creatures playing. He seemed antsy to leave, headbutting his trainer's leg with intent. She rolled her eyes in amusement.

"Alright, then, team!" said Eva, trying to catch the attention of her other pokémon. "Let's hit the town!"

Despite not being around the pokemon for that long, he seemed to trust them an awful lot, it was kind of endearing that jangmo-o sat atop him like a lookout, glancing around in that kind of adorable lizard way, he flinched when he heard a noise at first because all he noticed was Inferno kicking the rocks but then he ACTUALLY jumped when the bush rustled.

He knew it would be smarter to avoid that, but they came to train and he was sure they could handle whatever the hell was in this thing. His expression shifted from nervous to determined.
"Lets see what this is about."

Ruth immediately released the Jirachi, who floated along beside her, and, Sparky on her shoulder, they continued walking through the forest. As they did, Ruth couldn't help but voice her thoughts.
"Jirachi, do you have a name? Other than just, 'jirachi'?"
"Ji-jirachi!" The little pokemon cried, shaking its head.
"Would you like one?" Ruth asked. The pokemon brightened, and nodded enthusiastically. "Hmmm... What about Lynx?" The jirachi considered this for a moment, before nodding happily. "Well, Lynx it is, then!" Ruth said happily.

As they were walking and watching the sunset, the grass infront of them russled. Ignis jumped, scared, and fell out of maroon's backpack. "Woopsies" Maroon giggled as she picked up her charmander. They both peered into the grass...

I smile and scratch behind the wolf Pokemon's ear. "You wanna join us?" I ask it, still scratching and petting the wolf, it's soft silky fur tickling the palm of my hand. River and Sensei jump up and down happily as Sugar walks over and sniffs the Zacian, cautious of the new member.

"Yeah! Nice job!" Nox cried in triumph. He walked over to his pokemon to better congratulate them, when he spied something on the ground. He picked in up, squinting at it to determine what it was. It appeared to be a small mossy stone, with the imprint of a leaf.

"Huh. Isn't that interesting." he showed the stone to his two pokemon, who were both quite interested. He slipped the stone into his bag.

Nox glanced around briefly. His business in this area done, he and his pokemon kept walking through the woods.

Lynx noticed the little ghost-type who lurked nearby and waved it over. When its hesitance persisted, the tiny jirachi tugged on Ruth's sleeve. When she noticed the phantump, she gave it a sympathetic smile.
"Why hello there!" She said cheerfully, and the two pokemon nearby her chirped and squealed greetings.
