Tell me something that has happened to you that you consider lucky. i consider myself very lucky over the years when it comes to meeting the people that i have under special circumstances. when i was younger i made a very close knit group of friends, many of whom have stayed together to this day, nearly 15 years later. when i went away for school, i originally didn't like my roommate or anyone i met within the first few weeks and i thought that i would never find a place to fit in. but, by a stroke of luck, one friend i had convinced me to join a club with her, and it was through that club that i met so many people with whom i shared similar interests. most recently, in the new program i'm in, i've been so happy to have met other people i clicked with almost instantly for our love for writing, reading, and music, and i now consider one of them my best friends because of how well we get along. and the thing is - it's because of my friends that i knew from when i was young that i pushed myself through high school to take higher level classes, which let me go to a great school away from home, which let me meet my second group of friends who were like a second family to me for a long time. and it was by going to that school and because of the classes i took in high school that allowed me to graduate a year early and move on to the program in time to meet these other people who have already become a massive part of my life. and if that's not luck, i don't know what is!
