ive asked before, but if you have anything to say about puppies at all that you think might help me im all ears
Make sure you have an ID with your info you can put on it right away when you pick up your puppy. Think about how you're going to secured your puppy in the car and prepare for that before hand. Have a vet lined up and an emergency vet. Take a trip to the emergency vet at different times of the day so the first time you're going there you don't get lost. Put the numbers for your vet(s) in your phone and on the fridge. You won't be thinking straight in an emergency so you don't want to wait till then to struggle with directions. Speaking of emergencies get some first aid supplies handy such as a thermometer, lubricant for thermometer, vet wrap, scissors, etc.).
Here's some puppy videos. Sorry if I sent you this info before.

I Just found this thread :>
I have an Siberian Husky ! I love this boy so much , and boy I can say that this breed is actually unique? I've had a lot of Golden Retrievers/GSDs in the past , They're so different and I love it !
Hoping to find Husky owners here!
Here's a folder with some pictures I took since he was a puppy :') he's an Wooly coated Husky, I've had this boyo DNA tested and since It is my last year in Veterinary Medicine University I hope I can keep studying dog/horse genetics and working with It.
Btw we don't have snow where we live so don't worry about him getting Ice blocks on his fur haha but he is from a working lineage and actually helped us a lot with heavy things ! ( Not too heavy obviously)

she is super gorgeous!!!
But she does look a bit off from the standard so I’m unsure the breeder you are
looking at will be willing to stud one of their dogs out to you. She seems to be
more working line, may i ask what breeder you got her from? Or a fullbody pic?

Maybe a more general question to you all: What was the biggest moment with your dog when you realized “Yeah, I can trust her. I raised a good dog”. I had another one of those moments tonight with Kahlua. She’s usually always crated before bed, but tonight I accidentally fell asleep with her on my bed. I woke up maybe 2 hours later and was concerned as I realized she wasn’t crated, but I was delighted with what I found. The snacks I had with me were left untouched, not stolen at all, and she was no longer on my bed. She was asleep on the floor next to her kennel, waiting to be let in. No going to the bathroom on the floor, nothing torn up, I was thrilled. I feel like this is a larger puppy milestone sort of thing for us. I’m glad that she knows to respect my belongings/resources as I make it a point to do hers, and that her crate has been made into enough of a safe space so that she’s ready and excited to go in at the end of the day. This made my heart smile. :)

Wondering if anyone has any tips for caring for a more senior dog:
Ruby is 10 now and age seems to be creeping up on her. She's currently on vet-prescribed anti-inflammatory for her joints as well as some fish oil supplements, but nothing really seems to be helping. We don't do walks when it's cold out anymore (which is real hard considering it's winter, so she's been a bit depressed), since she gets a really heavy limp, and she's on a no-tidbits diet to reduce some of her fat in the hope that'll lessen the burden on her joints.
So aside from that, any advice on keeping an older dog fit and healthy? Especially if there's any gentler exercises anyone knows that will help her build more muscle.
