froakies speed seemed to be an
advantage, and the vileplume had
no time to think before froakie
pronounced the hit as critical.

vileplume immediately fainted...

you and froakie seem to be
creating a special bond.....

huh.

froakie is now level 7.

totodile seems much more relived,
but still seems quite tense.

Emilia let Cinder out of her pokeball, placing the charmander on her shoulder. "Which path should we choose bud?" she muttered to her pokemon, looking at the lake path.

"Char!" Cinder trilled, jumping off of Emilia's shoulder and tugging her skirt in the direction of the forest path. "Alright, forest path it is then" she sighed, picking the charmander back up again and trudging along the path.

cinder is just beyond excited, and
she's hyper in your arms, wanting nothing
but to just get down and run around!

the small dragon hops out of your
grasp, landing on the soft grass beneath
her and skipping down the dirt path.

everything is calm, until you hear a
pokemon in distress..

and you look over to see a grunt a few feet
away, throwing a net over a wild pokemon..

it's a pyroa...and it wants nothing but to
be free, but it seems its injured leg
allows its weakness..and the grunt takes
advantage of that, and catches it for
himself..

will you interfere?

I grab the pokeball that Plusle was pointing at and holds it out for it. "Alright here we go." I say softly as Rocky and Jewel hop around happily.

I pick up the pokeball and look it over before looking at the shiny Zacian, slowly walking over to it, not wanting to startle the legendary beast. Once I'm close enough I cautiously reach my hand out, holding it there to see if the wolf pokémon would want to be petted.

Emilia's heart dropped at the sight, feeling sympathy for the beast caught under the net. She locked eyes with the pyroar, it's mane and eyes seeming... duller somehow, like he had given up.

Emilia sprinted over and, without a second thought, barreled into the grunt, which ended up with him falling over and getting a few scrapes but getting up nevertheless. Still, the distraction served it's purpose as Cinder started to gnaw at a weak point in the netting
