Luxray looks hesitant before stepping into position to mock battle Tepig. Tepig looks a bit hesitant, but looks quite determined to show you what they've got! Luxray's fur frizzes with electricity, and gets ready to fight. Luxray looks at you, and gestures at Tepig for them to start. Tepig then looks at you, wondering if this is a free-for-all or if you'd like to tell Tepig what moves to use.

"Yes! Go fight! Do whatever! I don't care!"

aaaWith a hesitant glance, Luxray steps into a good defensive stance to fight Tepig. I watch, impressed, as static slowly eases through his fur, currently passive, but ready to attack.
aaaTepig, looking equally reluctant to battle, also steps forward. His fur doesn't fill with fire, not having the ability to, but his eyes glint with a determined expression. This time, I can't hold back my grin.
aaa"Alright," I announce as if I'm a trained referee. "On the left, Tepig, faces challenger Luxray on the right! This will be a free-for-all battle; the victor will be announced when a pokemon yields or when I, as the overseer, decide to end the battle!" The two pokemon nod in agreement and flicks his tail for Tepig to start. Tepig nods, then starts with an Ember. The small ball of fire goes flying towards Luxray, but it's slow enough for the large cat to dodge.
aaaTepig pauses, taking a step back now that his plan has failed and I wait for Luxray's next attack.

Tepig starts off with an Ember! Luxray dodges and Spark waits for Luxray's next attack!

(Hopefully, I was allowed to take control of Luxray like that. If you don't mind, what level is he on?)

this rock shifts..and soon, bulbasaur
falls into the water, as the pokemon
gets up, surprised.

"wortle!" it squeaks in a goofy greeting.

Alpha smiles and takes the Thunder Stone. "Welcome kindly, buddy." He then looks at Stripes then at the youngster. "Would you like to play with her?" He asks the child. Stripes, seemingly loving the attention from the boy, looks at Alpha, her ears perked up. "Blitzle?' She nickers, half curious if he truly meant it for a little while and half eager to play with her new friend.

Alpha nods and pats Stripes neck, "You can play with him, as long as he wants to play." Stripes looks at the little boy, eager to play with him. Meanwhile, Firewrath and Riptide notice a nearby vendor selling custom made pokeballs so they wander over to see the different varieties of Pokeballs.

Oracle Mei winces at how much hp Dakota has left before making the decision to call him back "Dakota, Come back. Lets go Molly!" she says as Dakota scampers back to her. Once Molly is out on the field, the sheep pokemon looks at the Miltank and bleats, knowing she had a chance to try her luck out. "Meeeh~!" Molly calls out, a cute little war-cry like sound that made Oracle giggle a little. ""Alright Molly, you ready? Lets get your defences up by Defense Curl!"

Nox considered his strategy. The two phantumps were ghost type, which meant Chai couldn't hurt them at all. If Snickers were to faint, then the battle would be over.

"Alright, Chai keep their attention and defend Snickers from any attacks! Snickers, use Rollout!"

phantumps, and it seems...effective.

well done, it lowers its hp almost all
the way, being a critical hit.

chai ups snickers' defence.

the phantump used confused ray, but
it failed.

the other phantump used tackle on chai,
and it was uneffective.

Deku stares in awe at the pokemon. He steps closer and greets the Houndoom. Softly, he asks, "Would you like to join me on my journey?". The Houndoom nods in response, and Deku smiles. Carefully, his hand reaches down and scratches the pokemon's head. "I'll name you Kazan,". After awhile, the green haired boy says farewell to the researchers and Aerodactyl. Together, Deku and his team walk down the path in the forest.

(not sure if he was in a forest before, be we are now, eh)
