Nox considered his strategy. The two phantumps were ghost type, which meant Chai couldn't hurt them at all. If Snickers were to faint, then the battle would be over.

"Alright, Chai keep their attention and defend Snickers from any attacks! Snickers, use Rollout!"

[Stumpy.]

The girl gratefully accepts the revives and heals her two pichu. They're a tad worn out, but better off now.
"Thank you miss!" She runs off towards the next town to heal up her pokemon.

I stand up after patting River on the head. "Good job everyone." I say after standing up, petting Sugar's mane before recalling her and Sensei before heading down the way.

About halfway through to the next trainer, River spots a pair of glowing eyes, staring at myself and her. She tilts her head to the side then nudges my leg with her nose. "What is it Ri-" I start to say before seeing the pair of eyes. Mesmerized by the eyes of the Pokemon staring at us, I walk closer to them before they start away.

"Hey wait!" I call out to the mysterious Pokemon before running after it, River now up on my shoulder. I keep following until I run out of breath. Panting I look around, noticing I'm somewhere new.

Around me is a field of flowers, a small pond in the middle of the field. Thinking this would be a nice place to rest, I slowly walk to the pond, releasing my Pokemon from their confinement so they could play and rest from the day.

I sit beside the pond, watching River frolic in the shallows as Sensei and Sugar nap underneath a nearby tree. Slowly I lean back, watching the clouds roll above us in the blue sky. Before I know it, I start to doze off, the warmth of the sun like a blanket around me.

When you finally wake up, the same glowing eyes seem to be watching you in the distance. Strange. Maybe the Pokémon wanted to show you this place?

I wake then sit up, stretching, before looking around, noticing River was playing with Sensei, but not seeing Sugar with them. I glance around for the shiny Gogoat only to find her standing in front of where the glowing eyes are. I start to walk up to her before stopping, as a wild pokémon jumps out of the brush and stands about 4-5 feet in front of me.

blake took a step back as a tall pokemon emerged from the bushes. "whoa.... is that a sawsbuck, taura?" she asked the pokemon. taura chirped at her as if saying 'yes,' and blake nodded. "then i guess we'll catch it! it looks so different! so pretty!" she exclaimed. "taura, use ember. but be gentle!"

Luxray looks at Tepig, and Tepig looks back at Luxray. Luxray nods for Tepig to go first and Tepig scrambles behind you as quick as he can. Luxray trots behind you at a steady pace before you find a nice little clearing. The sun is just beginning to set: the sky will be a beautiful sunset soon! This is a great place to enjoy it.

It looks like that Tepig and Luxray are both trying equally as hard to get along. Although it's a rocky road for both of them, of course. Luxray is rather large compared to Tepig, and Tepig is reasonably terrified. But not nearly as much as before, which is a start! Tepig looks at you, wondering what you're planning.

"I think we can squeeze in just a bit of practice before the sun sets."

aaaI try not to pay too much attention to Luxray and Tepig. Although I would much rather them suck it up and start getting along with each other, I know it's best for them to work out their problems on their own.
aaaAs we approach a nice little clearing, I look up and realize that the sun is beginning the set. I have half a mind to stay and watch the sunset after practice, if the pokemon don't mind sightseeing.
aaaTepig turns his head up at me and squeals a question. A few more paces behind me, Luxray huff-snorts and Tepig gains an offended look on his face. On the bright side, the little pig doesn't look too terrified of Luxray anymore.
aaaAssuming that he was awaiting orders, I grin and say, "Do whatever you want." At the two confused looks that are shot my way, I clarify, "I have no idea what your battling styles are, nor what moves you know." Speaking to Tepig, I say, "Pretend this is a battle, but you're showing off your moves instead of using them to beat the opponent. Use all the moves you know; start of simple, then build on it." I motion my hands towards the empty clearing. "Alright, Tepig, the field is yours. Feel free to play around; don't take this too seriously."
aaaTepig nods, then prances off into the distance and starts out with a plain tackle. He does, however, put a lot of power into it. From the battle against Skiploom that happened a while ago, I remember that Tepig seems to be a hit-hard-then-run sort of pokemon.
aaaAfter watching Tepig for a second longer, I turn to Luxray. "If you want to, you can join in. I don't think Tepig would mind a mock battle, either, as long as you don't go too hard on him."
aaaWith a twitch of its tail, Luxray nods. I wait to see what it'll do.

Spark gets a feel for Tepig's battling style, then asks Luxray if it would like to join!

(Also, what's Luxray's gender? Spark's been calling it an it, but I'm seeing it as male? Or is its gender still undecided?)

Luxray looks hesitant before stepping into position to mock battle Tepig. Tepig looks a bit hesitant, but looks quite determined to show you what they've got! Luxray's fur frizzes with electricity, and gets ready to fight. Luxray looks at you, and gestures at Tepig for them to start. Tepig then looks at you, wondering if this is a free-for-all or if you'd like to tell Tepig what moves to use.

Benji nods and as you find the pokemon center, there's a little pond of water. Benji jumps into it excitedly, but quickly drops the ribbon by the side of the pond so it doesn't get wet- oopsie, it got wet anyways from all the splashing. Castform gets a little wet, and you do too! Benji looks a little embarrassed. Benji drops the bell in the water quickly, and then wash off all the mud- hm, it says that it belongs to someone in this city. would you like to return it?

I pick up the wet ribbon and fiddle with the bell on it, reading what was carved in the bell now that it was clean. It's somebody's name. I open the door and let Benji and the Castform walk inside, and we walk up to the front desk. I lift up the Castform and set her down on the counter. "Can you tell me anything about this type of Pokemon?" I ask the nurse at the desk, smiling at her.

"Castform changes their forme depending on the weather." she says, smiling. "They can also remain one forme if their holding one of... where are they.." she says, before dipping underneath the counter. A few random shuffling later, she brings out a box of three little pendent like things. "One for snowy, ice, and sunny. Feel free to take one and only one please!"

I looked at the 3 stones for a little bit before making my decision. "I think I'll take this one." I picked
up the fire stone and fed it to the reluctant Castform, who instantly transformed from her ice form into her fire form. I smiled and thanked the nurse, setting Castform on the ground, walking out of the Pokemon Center with my two pokemon.
(I fixed up my trainer card a bit to show the new castform and just because I thought it needed a remodeling :) )

Mirinae walked over to the pokeball lying in the grass, picked it up and opened it. The fletchling came out in a glow of red light and promptly flew onto Mirinae's shoulder. "Hey little guy, guess you're a part of our team now," Mirinae said, petting the pokemon on the head. "Need to give you a name. Hm, how about Shula?" The fletchling chirped happily in response. "Well that's that sorted." she said as she gently picked Shula up and set her on the ground beside her litten. "Flare, say hello to the new member of our team!" The litten approached the fletchling and nuzzled into it and fletchling let out a happy chirp. "Aw, glad you two are friends," said Mirinae, watching the two greeting each other. "Now, where to next?"
