can you make it smaller or allow us to move it or something?

There's what? Uh, no. There's maybe. MAYBE two new real suggestions a month if you want to be super stretchy. Everything else is either a repeat or something that just isn't going to happen because it's not a good suggestion. (See: game breaking imbalance)

Shian wrote:Yeah, of course people aren't satisfied when a general helper responds. You're just another player as far as this sub board is concerned, just like mods.
rockruff wrote:Hundreds was an exaggeration I admit.
Suggestions that are repeats still need a response. That still takes time. (As I imagine you know: lots of it.)

Then there is nothing I can say to help. I sent up some suggestions that I liked, and some were implemented. I myself do not know if my sending them had any affect on the situation. There's nothing more I can do. To speak plainly, I don't know how much anyone who actively reads this board can do. All I can say is that I suggest you use the ticket system.

Nick is the one that tends to do the coding and fix bugs around the site. A lot of these issues can take a long time to fix especially when users do not send in help tickets regarding the issue. However, these bugs do tend to get fixed in most situations though it can take some time. There is a lot that goes behind the scenes and please also keep in mind that admins also have real life too. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean that nothing is being done.

Shian, it's obvious you care about this site, but your over-enthuasistic attitude comes off as nearly rude
the site is heavily outdated. the suggestions forum is practically almost just a courtesy at this point, and i don't think a single suggestion has been implemented since 2014?? yeah the following option in oekaki boards was nice, but we STILL don't have a simple ping system, something every single other forum has.
however, i don't think criticism is going to change anything
anyways, this thread is definitely going down the gutter for "mod-bashing", which sucks

Use the ticket system to submit a suggestion? I'm willing to bet half of my pets that the answer I'd receive would be "We have a suggestion forum, post over there."
But it is amazing to know that helpers can spread the word up there about good suggestions. That's infinitely more than I thought was happening.

For me, at least, this is the whole point of the matter. More frequent updates may not be feasible with the resources CS has (literally just Nick, apparently). Fine, I like the site as it is and am happy with the occasional new shiny thing. But we users don't see anything happening, at all. If there were some more clarity on who reads suggestions, what is done about them, or even just that you can apparently submit a ticket, that would be a huge improvement. Just let us know you're there and listening.
edit: ^^exactly what flatterina is saying just above

I have absolutely loved the recent updates but I feel like, as a player, we're in the dark over things. It's not like the admins don't care. If they didn't, the site would just stop. No more pets, no more items, no events.
I think what the OP is trying to get across is that we need at least some communication. The Site News on the home page would be a great place for them. Even just fixing a small bug would be nice to know about.
