Being an airhead was pretty much a discerning trait of Serene's by this point. She was
always forgetting something or other. This time, it just happened to be something
rather important. The team had continued down the dirt road when she noticed
Aria was playing with a pokeball. "Ohmygoshiforgottocaptureyou." She exclaimed,
rather quickly at that. It was a surprise she didn't trip over her own words. Serene
plucked the pokeball out of Aria's paws and gently tapped her head with it. The
pokeball opened and sucked Aria inside. It closed right after and shook a few times
before staying still. Serene stared at the pokeball a few times before finally picking
it up. "Come out, Aria!" She shouted, tossing the ball to the floor beside her. While
mid-air, a white light shot out of the pokeball and hit the ground. The ball bounced
back into Serene's hand and by the time she caught it, Aria was standing on the trail.
"Sorry about that." Serene said as she leaned over and scooped the pokemon in her
arms. "Kinda important." She chuckled to herself, setting Aria back in her basket.

aria doesn't seem to mind, and
she laughs in amusement, before
climbing back into the basket.

"ax-ew!" the pokemon smiled,
forgiving you.

Rowlet seemed to fly overhead,
observing the area, to see what
was around.

and it let out a caw of interest,
and leads you to a pokemon in
need of great help.

it's a cosmog, and it's stuck
between a fallen tree, and the
ground, whimpering for attention
and help.

As sunlight began to peek through the blinds and the crowing of wild Talonflame brought Eva to wakefulness, she almost fell back asleep, but sat up in the hotel bed immediately when she remembered the events of the night before. Eva slipped out of the bed and wandered over to where the pokémon were all sleeping. "Good morning," she greeted, laughing as the hungry Popplio charged at her and began happily nosing against her palm.

Neptune and Marigold stirred at the sounds, and slowly untangled themselves to inspect the sudden newcomer. Circuit got up immediately, chirping at the Popplio in greeting.

"Popplio?" the wild pokémon barked, sniffing curiously as the three others surrounded it, letting out little cries of interest and in greeting. They all seemed to be getting along quite well-- a relief for Eva, as she hadn't been quite sure of what to expect in the morning.

She stretched out a little, before shuffling around the room to find some food bowls, and promptly filled them up for her partners and the Popplio. "Come eat," she called, and smiled fondly as the swarm of small pokémon stopped what they were doing and beelined for the food. "So, team," she began as they ate. "How do we feel about going out and training for the gym today?"

"Vui!"

"Froa-ki-ki!"

"Nenne, ne, denne!"

Even with their mouths full, each pokémon responded with enthusiasm. Eva then turned to the Popplio, who looked a little lost. She held out the pokéball from the night before. "You see, Popplio, we plan on taking on the gym challenge soon. Would you want to come with us?"

Nox grinned in satisfaction when he arrived at the pokecentre with little difficulty. While his pokemon were being healed, he sat in the waiting room, looking at the other pokemon and trainers hanging out in the building.

Alpha thanks the vendor and takes the egg in his right arm, holding it tightly to him and takes the coffee into the other hand. After leaving the Vendor he glances around then looks at his team mates. "what do yall think about relaxing at the park, guys?" Stripes nickers, Firewrath chirps, and Riptide nods, seeming to agree with the idea. "Alright its settled." Alpha says then exclaims, almost dropping his coffee on himself as he thrusts his free arm into the air, "TO THE PARK!!"

As they enter the park Firewrath and Stripes stop, hearing distant music. The two wander off to find the source of the commotion. Right in the center of the park is a wishing fountain. Once Alpha reaches the fountain, he turns around only to see Riptide behind. "Where'd Fire and Stripes go?" He asks the sneasel, still holding his newly adopted egg tightly to his chest with his dominate hand. "Snea-Sneasel?" Riptide says, doing a full 360, looking for the two. Alpha, now in panic mode, starts to search for his Torchic and Blitzle.

Firewarth and Stripes soon find themselves in town square, which is bustling with people, apparently a festive is going on. Sitting on Stripes' back, Firewrath notices a vendor nearby that has different plushies in it. She jumps up, excitedly, "Tor-Tor!" she exclaims, jumping off Stripes back and runs over to the Vendor, seeing a plushie of herself on the back wall. "Blit-Blitzle!" Stripes calls out to the chick, concerned that they are alone and worried that Alpha would punish them both for straying so far away

and the man grants torchic the matching
plushie, seeing as torchic was excited.

he handed it to blitzle to carry, free
of charge, before turning to the next
customer.

now carrying the plushie.

a giant pokémon leaps out from the bushes, and scrapes the ground beside you. its large branch-like antlers sprinkle little leaves all over the ground. it's a sawsbuck! sawsbuck looks at you and taura thoughtfully.

Bonni and her team walked along silently, each entertaining their own thoughts about the ocean. Every once in a while, she'd reach down and give Chiaa a gentle pat on the head; when Bonni chanced a look down, she saw that her Pichu was trying very hard (and not succeeding) to keep her little eyes open. She chuckled quietly to herself and continued walking, feeling her own eyes starting to get heavy.

A few minutes later, Bonni spotted a few buildings ahead of them; with dusk settling in, they loomed like dark purple shadows against the dark orange and pink sky. Upon their approach, she could see one of them was a daycare which was likely closing soon - the owners had to sleep too! The second building was smaller, almost a house, but didn't have a sign or any lights on...perhaps it was just for storage?

Upon opening the unlocked door, the trainer switched on her flashlight. Her Pokemon waited behind her. There was nothing but wooden floors and a few boxes in the corner she could see, and maybe some stairs in the far corner. I know it's a bit dark guys, but we'll be dry and warm! she called back reassuringly to her team. She placed her flashlight on a box to light as much of the room as possible, then grabbed her sleeping bag from her pack.

Chiaa lay snuggled right next to her pillow, while Skadi lay beside the sleeping bag. Zamazenta curled up nearby, placing his fluffy tail over his face, and what Bonni could guess from the small ears poking out, Higgs. She closed her eyes last, hoping for a restful night.
