I stand up after patting River on the head. "Good job everyone." I say after standing up, petting Sugar's mane before recalling her and Sensei before heading down the way.

About halfway through to the next trainer, River spots a pair of glowing eyes, staring at myself and her. She tilts her head to the side then nudges my leg with her nose. "What is it Ri-" I start to say before seeing the pair of eyes. Mesmerized by the eyes of the Pokemon staring at us, I walk closer to them before they start away.

"Hey wait!" I call out to the mysterious Pokemon before running after it, River now up on my shoulder. I keep following until I run out of breath. Panting I look around, noticing I'm somewhere new.

Around me is a field of flowers, a small pond in the middle of the field. Thinking this would be a nice place to rest, I slowly walk to the pond, releasing my Pokemon from their confinement so they could play and rest from the day.

I sit beside the pond, watching River frolic in the shallows as Sensei and Sugar nap underneath a nearby tree. Slowly I lean back, watching the clouds roll above us in the blue sky. Before I know it, I start to doze off, the warmth of the sun like a blanket around me.

Nox was almost giddy with excitement when he saw the ball click. He rushed over to the ball and picked it up. He reached a hand over to the Chespin standing next to him, and gave her head a pat. "Nice job, Snickers!"

Snickers puffed her chest out. "Ches-ches!" she said proudly, hands on her hips, very obviously bragging.

Nox stood up and looked at the pokeball in his hands. He pointed the device at the floor, and pressed the button. A light flashed, and standing where previously there had been nothing, was the Mienfoo. The pokemon looked at him, analysing what kind of person his new trainer was.

"Hey there, buddy! I know I'm kinda new to this, but you stick with me, and I bet we can become the best team ever! What d'ya say?"

"Foo! Mien foo!" the Mienfoo pumped his fist in the air! "MI!" the Mienfoo then recoiled in pain, as the movement stressed his injuries from the battle. "Foo mi mi foo..." he grumbled, probably insulting something.

Nox smiled. "But let's get you guys healed first, okay?"

Nox and his pokemon set off in the direction of the nearest Pokemon Centre.[size=50]
[Note- as my starter is Chespin, I think it's only right I start in Kalos.]

After hopping around in excitement, I draw out a pokeball and carefully throw it towards the zigzagoon, in an attempt to catch it and make a new friend, and a shiny one nonetheless!

Luxray shakes his head. He seems to want to tag along with you and tepig for a little before straying back into the forest. Tepig looks skeptical- but it's your decision, after all. Would you like to let Luxray tag along after you?

"If you're sure, I'll take it."

aaaI watch Luxray as he scrutinizes me, then slowly shakes his head. I blink. "What?" I ask in surprise. Tepig is trying to hold back a nervous glare against the electric predator, vexation prominent in his eyes. Luxray spares him a glance, then throws his head in the air, taking a step closer to me.
aaaLuxray points at me with his paw, then flicks his tail towards the door and I think I understand. "You want to tag along before heading back to the forest," I say. Luxray nods, looking fairly pleased with my guessing skills. Tepig's face is the definition of 'don't-you-dare' and I run a hand through my hair before taking another look at Luxray.
aaaTepig doesn't want Luxray to come. Luxray wants to come. I want Luxray to come, but I also want Tepig to stay with me. I seriously hate to admit it, but I'm starting to get attached to the little fire creature.
aaa"Okay," I say, "Let's compromise. Luxray, if you want to, you can come. This will be a trial run. Tepig, don't antagonize Luxray; Luxray, don't make Tepig feel too uneasy. In the case that you two cannot - for some reason - get along with each other, both of you will be punished. The punishment will be as follows: Tepig, you'll be threatened with your pokeball; Luxray, I don't own you, so I'll give you the chance to leave. Does everyone agree to these agreements?" Tepig nods grudgingly while Luxray nods without showing much emotion. "Alright then." I fidget with an empty pokeball in my belt. I'm not planning to capture Luxray since I'm not sure how long he'll be staying with us, but the idea of having a Luxray still appeals to me. "It's almost dusk, so we're done traveling for the day. I'm likely going to be wandering around the town or training with Tepig until nighttime." I look specifically at Luxray. "If you want to join in at any time, just tell me. I'm sure I can figure out something for both of you to do." I wasn't even sure what Tepig could do, so training might just be his demonstrating his abilities. We could work from there.
aaaI beckon Luxray and Tepig outside, intent on finding a peaceful place to practice.

Luxray looks at Tepig, and Tepig looks back at Luxray. Luxray nods for Tepig to go first and Tepig scrambles behind you as quick as he can. Luxray trots behind you at a steady pace before you find a nice little clearing. The sun is just beginning to set: the sky will be a beautiful sunset soon! This is a great place to enjoy it.

It looks like that Tepig and Luxray are both trying equally as hard to get along. Although it's a rocky road for both of them, of course. Luxray is rather large compared to Tepig, and Tepig is reasonably terrified. But not nearly as much as before, which is a start! Tepig looks at you, wondering what you're planning.

Serene had been humming a variety of songs before settling on one that Reese liked.
Funnily enough, it was Into the Unknown by Idina Menzel. She assumed he enjoyed
how the notes would vary between high and low. It was a fun song to sing because
of that, actually. The two weren't paying much attention to what was around them
but when a whistling began behind them, Serene paused her humming and stopped
the bike. She turned around and was pleased to see an Axew. They looked so cute!

The Axew caught up to the bike and stopped beside Serene, looking up at her with
those big eyes. Reese took an interest in the Pokemon and flew out of the basket,
landing beside the Axew. "Row row!" He exclaimed. The Axew turned to him and
waddled over. With a quick turn of his head, the Axew lightly swept its tusk over
Reese's chest feathers. The pokemon then did the same to Serene's leg. "Did..
Did you just mark us?" She asked, dumbfounded. The Axew hopped twice in
response, though it seemed more like they were happy than trying to answer. "So
cute. You must have been lonely out here." Serene leaned down and picked the
Axew up. "Welcome to the group, Aria. I'm Serene and that's Reese." She smiled
at the Axew before setting her inside the basket. "Sorry Reese, looks like you'll
have to hitch a ride on my shoulder again."
