The breeding and custom hub is here! Artists may post their own forms for both breedings and/or customs, along with their own rules and applicable payments. Please always be aware of who is open and who is not accepting at the time of interest. ♥
Those interested in ordering should send a PM to the open artist they are requesting from.

Custom Rules;
• Community members are limited to 3 customs per month; this resets on the 1st.
• Staff members are limited to 4 customs per month; this resets on the 1st.
• Vun-Toj cannot be requested as customs! These ponies are special releases only, or awarded through exploration.
• Please do not pester our artist team on completion; if you have been waiting for three weeks, contact HowlingHooves instead
• Chimerics are limited! Chimeric Customs have a set of 5 per month, not user! 0/5 April Limit
• All chimeric customs must be passed to HowlingHooves for approval before beginning.
• If an artist is requesting payment, a trade must be sent before work begins! It should never be accepted until it is posted.
• Artists are free to open and close their custom orders as time allows, but if they are unable to complete an accepted order please contact HowlingHooves. I am happy to discuss things with customer and artist should a long wait occur. ♥
• Please do not request hidden genes on your custom! A Chestnut carrying silver, or a Black carrying Pangare are examples.
(Agouti and Pearl are the only exceptions!)

When CS Events are ongoing, number and chimeric limits will be lifted for the duration of the event!
Monthly limits are also lifted, to a degree; please do not abuse this by ordering six customs in two or so days.
Artists may ask for the events tokens/pets in exchange for their services at this time.

Edits:
• Line edits are not allowed! This means no mane alterations, no feathering alterations, etc.
• Item edits are allowed by an artist who accepts them. These will always have a cost, dictated by the artist.
xxFlowers, bangles, etc are considered item edits and are permitted.
xxTack, Blankets, etc are considered items edits and are permitted.
xxCropped/Roached manes, docked tails are considered line edits and are NOT permitted.

Aquell, Boh-Tot and Dyesdale all have halters, bridles, and award ribbons; halters are given upon adoption, bridles can be purchased,
and award ribbons are won through an event.
Vun-Toj cannot have halters or bridles added whatsoever!
Any halter/bridle or similar edit types for Vun-Toj will be ignored.

Breeding is the most common way to obtain more horses on Datwon, and one of the only ways to get a Boh-Tot.
Each type has their own breeding specifications and limitations, listed below;

The Aquell Warmblood
A lithe, graceful looking horse with features of both mainland gaited breeds and warmbloods. This is a horse commonly found among the well-off populace, and its origins trace back to a shipwreck nearly a century past that had been carrying horses. These horses are fully domesticated, and are an extremely rare sight to be found away from people.

10 Breeding Slots

The Dyesdale Draft
A large and muscular draft, these are the workforce relied upon by nearly all the islands’ inhabitants. They are very eager to work, with relaxed and often bomb-proof personalities from day one. These brutish looking horses are rarely seen in the wild, but a semi-feral herd has been whispered about among the locals.

6 Breeding Slots

The Boh-Tot
This type was the result of crossing both the Aquell and the Dyesdale, resulting in a much lighter draft. They are commonly chosen as mounts when ventures into the lush forests as they are sure-footed like the Dyesdale with all the agility of the Aquell. They are a more common sight roaming the island than their relatives, and quite a few small herds are tracked by the locals.

8 Breeding Slots

The Vun-Toj
Small in stature but revered among the islanders, these sturdy little beasts are rarely ever seen by anyone, locals included. Extremely shy and quick, it’s considered a sign of good luck when one has been spotted, but never must you attempt to catch them. Rumored to be the hosts of rambunctious pixies, the locals allow them to come and go from their settlements as they wish, and would never dare to try and halter them. Some, though, have made the choice to stay with the people of their own will, and the settlements who care for them claim magic follows their steps each day…

2 Breeding Slots

Vun-Toj are strictly limited in breedings, due to their magical natures. These cute ponies form pair bonds, soul mates some whisper, and may only ever breed with their other half. Whether this is another mare or a another stallion, the bonded pair will only ever create a colt and a filly throughout their life, both of which must be from the same pair.
The younger locals say they choose this to emulate many of the people on the island, as they too form lifelong bonds with another individual, while the elders say this is simply the way they keep their magic traversing their bloodlines. Nobody knows for certain, and the Vun-Toj refuse to let any knowledge on this slip by.

Rules:
• All pairings are accepted; MxM and SxS are perfectly capable, due to the magic on the island.
• Twins occur at a 7% rate in each breeding.
• Vun-Toj cannot have twins, no exceptions.
• Chimerics can occur at 5% rate in each breeding.
• Item edits cannot pass to offspring, no exceptions.
• You are not limited to breedings per month, but please only request one breeding per opening.
• You may gift, trade or sell any created offspring for River Zeeri or items, but HowlingHooves and the archivist must be informed via PM on CS.

Crossbreeding Rates:
Dyesdale x Dyesdale = Dyesdale
Boh-Tot x Boh-Tot = Boh-Tot
Aquell x Aquell = Aquell
Dyesdale x Aquell = Boh-Tot
Dyesdale x Boh-Tot = 50% Dyesdale, 50% Boh Tot
Boh-Tot x Aquell = 60% Boh-Tot, 40% Aquell

All staff who request a custom are not required
to pay for the first months order.
Any further requests are discounted at half
the order price. (ex. Chimera would be 10c$)
This resets the first of every month.

Grease Spots, Birdcatcher Spots, Bloody Shoulder (Grey only)
Dilutions:
Champagne, Cream, Dun, Flaxen, Grey, Silver
Other:
Any extra requests. For example, dominant for extension.
Or reference images to work from.

Item edits I will do are flowers, vines, small jewelry, etc.
I will not add fancy tack.
Line edits, again, are not permitted!
