Nox walked through the forest, clutching his new pokemon to his chest. The pokemon in question, Snickers, was beaming as she took in all the sights and scents of the forest.

"I wonder if we'll catch anything." mused Nox, gazing up at the light filtering through the trees. Although he had just left town, he had been looking forward to this for so long, that he already felt like was miles away.

(Okay, I'm not asking for anything to be changed, and I'm not upset, I just find this really funny. I love the irony that Chespin is the only grass starter that I don't pick. Like, between every other starter trio (except gen 8) I pick the grass one. But for gen 6 I pick Fennekin, not Chespin. And Chespin is the starter I got. I just find that hilarious.)

he was honestly relieved that he didn't have to make all the decisions by himself, other input was always a good thing. he nodded, despite him not being the one working hard in the training its still beneficial.
