It was growing dark quickly as Eva and her three pokémon explored the city, and it was obvious that the small creatures were growing tired. Marigold's tail was drooping, Neptune's eyes were half-lidded, and poor Circuit's tiny paws seemed worn down from such a long day of traveling. Plenty of the townsfolk had cooed and complimented her partners, which had lifted their spirits, but even Eva was in dire need of a break.

She muffled a yawn as they traipsed through the city. "Keep your eyes open for a place we can stay the night," Eva instructed, scanning the streets as they went. "I think we could all use a break." It was Circuit, tiny and keen-eyed, who spotted something first.

"Denne, denne," he squeaked, long tail flicking to point out what he'd found. A homely little motel was situated between the intersection of two streets, the neon sign above it naming the place as "The Traveling Taillow Inn." It seemed nice enough, cozy and inviting, and there were even battlefields and a swimming pool located behind the inn.

Eva smiled. "Good catch, Circuit. I'm sure the pool would be fun tomorrow, and the battlegrounds means we can still get some training in!" As she and her team walked closer to the entrance, she spotted a notice posted on the door.

"We are open!"

"Well, team?" said Eva. "Let's go check it out!" The pokémon all let out little cries of agreement, and followed after her trainer as she swung open the door to the Traveling Taillow.

Bonni waited patiently, rocking back and forth on her heels slightly, while Nurse Joy took a look at the little Pichu. When she returned, Bonni let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks a bunch for checking up on him for me Nurse Joy!" the trainer replied, taking back the Pichu, who looked more content. She gave Skadi another friendly pat on the head for escorting the Nurse and Pichu, then waved at Zamazenta. "Come on guys!"

Bonni and her team headed outside again and walked over to sit on a nearby bench. She pulled out multiple Pokepuffs from her bag this time, tossing one to each of her Pokemon. Zamazenta wagged it's tail happily, while Higgs payed no attention to how much crumbs he was spilling on it's back. Skadi hopped up and ate her treat alongside the Pichu, who was still in Bonni's hands. "Vul-pix!" Skadi cried happily. "Here you go, Pichu, one more for the road. Then we'll head off!" Bonni decided it would be best if they escorted the Pichu somewhere safer out in the wilds, preferably not an alleyway again!

Bonnibel and her team will head just out of town when they're done eating.

happily, wiping the crumbs off of
zamazentas back in secrecy before the
canine pokemon finished too.

once vulpix and pichu were done,
your pokemon decided to begin to
head to the next route!

they lead you, and cutely enough,
pichu stays in your pocket the entire walk,
happily tucked in.
