Badgerbloom followed the two toms in general silence. She was busy trying to focus on her surroundings and couldn't really focus on any conversation, lest she miss something around them. The cold weather and frozen ground made it difficult to clearly detect smells; so, without scent or sound, she focused on taking in the area with her eyes. She scanned the frosted forest, careful to stay in formation, for any sight of prey. This time of the year prey was scarce and the extra mouths to feed between the new clan made things that much more difficult.
The sudden movement of a squirrel shooting up a nearby tree caught her attention and she quickly turned her head in its direction. The short furred molly exhaled and a small ploom of vapor rose from her mouth as she watched the rodent run far beyond their reach. She gave a small huff before turning to the two toms, completely oblivious to Lemon's presence. "Was I being loud?" She questioned, afraid that she had been the reason the critter had been startled.

Crabfur kept his gaze down as the small patrol grew by one more. Although as Fernsnap approached he looked up to meet her gaze. He felt a familiar nervous tick run down his spine and he dropped his gaze but nodded in a subtle greeting.
As the group left the camp he fell in line, taking in the territory and wondering to himself what the deputy planned on them hunting. As Cedarshine spoke he remembered the last patrol he had done something similar in- it had ended with himself and Creamflower finding Ravenkit. He silently prayed to starclan that there would be no lost kits in this weather today. He then allowed his eyes to scan over the cats in the patrol. How did the deputy plan to split the groups up? Who would he be partnered with? A part of him preferred the idea of Fernsnap being his partner for the hunt as she wasn't as intimidating as the deputy. As for Tatteredhawk, Crabfur had nothing against him but he had felt the tom watching him a few times the last moon and was worried he would try to pry into what was wrong. Either way, there was nothing he could do but wait for the deputy to give her orders and hope that he could make another clean kill for the day.

The large she-cat watched the mess of a leader and deputy for a few moments longer after the ceremony ended. The moronic mouse-brained decision Bearstar had made making the loner deputy gave her a headache. If not for the fact she took her role as medicine cat seriously and for the fact she had little time to waste today, she would have marched over to the both of them and made her disapproval clear; however, she needed to leave soon. Her scoldings would have to wait until after she went to check on the clan's kits and after she returned from her herb search.

The she-cat had been focused on climbing the steepening terrain, following the scent of what she assumed to be clan cats. She expected to run into someone soon but when a tom with a heavily scarred face appeared she couldn't help but be a bit startled. The molly blinked in surprise at the tom's words and appearance before letting a small smile envelope her face. Despite how he looked this was the first cat she had seen since leaving her birthclan and he did not seem at all aggressive.
"Do I look that bad?" She questioned with an embarrassed chuckle, her voice was soft and feminine, a polar opposite to Cindercloud's. "I'm sorry, I haven't had time to keep my fur groomed, it been awfully cold and Iv just been focused on finding another cat." She mused, honestly, looking up at him a bit nervous now. She hesitated before speaking again "I don't mean to be forward but do you perhaps belong to a clan?"

Eating was still important, she could be much more energetic and her brains could be more open to taking new knowledge, so learning could be much easier. As his apprentice goes to the fresh kill-pile he taken his time to groom his pelt, he could not have time for that after the training start.

Slateflight's tail twitched slightly. The older she-cat watched Rainflower whisked Bluepaw close to her with her tail. She smiled at the sight, though she felt it should be her by Bluepaw's side. After all, she raised the kit. Sighing, she told the others that she needed to go for a walk outside the camp. The other three questionably looked at the older she-cat, but they shrugged it off and told her to be safe.

Creamflower is eating her rabbit from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the delicious taste. She scans the clearing, seeing whose up and about today.

Cedarshine chirped a quiet greeting to the Medicine cat and jerked her head back towards camp, "Mudkit has a pretty bad cough- I- uhm - Tinyseal is worried about him. It sounded pretty bad." she mewed, her voice gruff.
Cedarshine slowed her pace as she looked over her shoulder at Fernsnap and Crabfur, reluctantly deciding that she would hunt with the red-furred tom, though she preferred Tatteredhawk by a landslide. The deputy turned to the warrior and informed him quietly, "You'll be hunting with Fernsnap, if that's alright with you? You can choose to hunt along the beach or in the small patch of forest." after Sycamoreclan formed both Summit and Shore had less territory to hunt in, and food was becoming scarcer and scarcer. The thought worried the long furred molly but she kept this to herself. It would be useless to cause worry among her clan.

Lemon was mainly focused on the black and white molly, only glancing at the toms to make sure they weren't looking her way. She noted that she was acting rather strange today, and her eyes slits as she slunk along to follow them. After moons of observing Lemon still wasn't quite sure what the molly's name was, and it made her slightly annoyed. They do have names, don't they?

Shoreclan didn't need any more tragedies so he hoped that everything was fine with the kit. He turned to Cedarshine when she told him to go with Fernsnap "I don't mind" he meowed simply, flicking his tail as she gives the two choices "let's go to the beach?" he meowed turning to Fernsnap.
