Sunpaw nodded, despite the pain coming from a gash in her shoulder, which was now bleeding steadily and making her fur sticky and red. She wouldn't be treated until the others with worse wounds then hers went first. "Foxpaw, you okay?" She asked her friend. The small apprentice looked worriedly at Raccoontail. What if he wasn't the worst off? She shivered at the thought despite the warm breeze that tickled her nose. "I'll go warn Silversong we're coming." She announced, feeling useless now that they obviously didn't need her help. "I'll be careful." Sunpaw added, knowing Whitefoot would probably protest. She ran ahead without waiting for a response, claws unsheathed so they could push out of the ground, giving her even more speed. The wind wistled through her ears, and the dry leaves crackled beneath her paws with every step she took. Stretching her senses ahead for any signs of badger came back with only stale scents. They'd gone. For now. The thought comforted her slightly, knowing that for now her Clan was safe, and gave her a surge of determination. Next time they came back, she'd be readyto fight. No-one would be hurt like Raccoontail again as long as she could stop it. Desicion made to work harder then ever seemed to give her more speed still so she was just an orange and white (And slightly red) blur. Panting, she reached the camp. Her first thought was that the badgers had reached camp, but nothing was destroyed. No, everyone was out in the forest of their own will. "Silversong? Jayfeather?" Sunpaw called, searching for a medicine cat that could help Raccoontail. "They must of left camp." She whispered to herself. "What if they were killed! They hae no training for battle!"She had to stop herself from tearing back into the forest. Instead she forced herself to go back to the smallpatrol that was accompanying Raccoontail. "They're not there. Silversong and Jayfeather. They have to be in the forest somewhere." She panted, completely out of breath after her long run and she still wasn't completely healed. Her chest ached to now, but she ignored it. "What should we do?" She asked Whitefoot, forcing herself to stay standing rather then collapse to the ground as she so would have liked to.
Silversong stopped running only for the sake of Featherflight. She would have wished to run far far away from Crowflight at that moment. She kept her distance, watching Featherflight but not moving close enough to talk to the warrior who was carrying her. Stop being such a kit Silversong. You need to talk this out. The more mature part of her brain screamed. She knew it was right, she should, but the younger part of her shied away. Silversong continued to walkfrom a distance, fighting silently with herself. After hearing Crowflight's thoughts once again she gritted her teeth and moved slightly closer. She didn't know why it bothered her so much, she'd always wanted to have a sibling, but this was changing everything she knew. Or had thought she'd known. If Crowflight was really her sister then Dawndream wasn't her mother. Meaning that the cat she'd known her whole life, trusted her whole life, loved as a mother her whole life, had lied to her for her whole life. Hearing Crowflight's constant questioning brought Silversong out of her thoughts. She shouldn't of replied, she knew she shouldn't of, but she couldn't stop herself. "You know that it can't be possible. I'm a LeafClan cat, through and through. You were a rogue. You joined LeafClan later in your life. Think about it before you assume such- such-" She couldn't think of a word. "Such accusations!" Silversong finally finished.
