i like chysanthemums, mostly because of the book. sunflowers and lilacs are pretty too! and nochebuena flowers/poinsettas!!!

THE GREAT WAVE OFF KANAGAWA BY KATSUSHIKA HOKUSAI it's been my absolute favourite piece of art since i even started paying attention to art, it's so stunning, hokusai was so ahead of his time, oh my days all his prints are phenomenal. i saw it a few years ago in the british museum, apparently it hadn't been out of the archive for years and i was lucky enough to catch the hokusai exhibition when i happened to be in london to see phantom of the opera i was so happy
