Duskpelt felt her heartbeat increase an extra bit as he asked that. She only nodded slowly, "Uh yeah..yeah actually-that would be pleasant" she murmured, sighing out. She glanced around, and it seemed the pack began to retreat to their dens to fight the battle of sleep. She slowly sat up, "Let's get to it then...maybe we'll even see a few things to hunt if we're still enough" she smiled small, glancing at him before fully standing and beginning to head to the entrance.

"Awwwww," Eaglepaw said, looking at the two pups. "Those are really good names!" He thought for a second, racking his brain for any mention of the word 'Oreo' but could not come up with one. "Yeah, what is an Oreo?"

She looked the dogs not so surprised to their questions about the name chose of her second pup "It's a thing I learned from hum...no two legs when I was still with them" she responded sighing "because both me and my mate had a...good life as a pets, I thought I wanted to remind it somehow, that's why Oreo...and it was very cute too" she said.

Once she agreed, the beta's tail thumped kn the ground lightly. The outing would be a nice way to be productive while also still hanging out with Duskpelt. Since the pack would be sleeping anyway and there were no specific tasks that needed to be handled; other than the food, of course. This was the perfect opportunity for Cindermist to do go out of camp. Standing tall, he smiled as he followed his companion to the camp exit.

Duskpelt paused as she reached the entrance, her eyes scanning the dark as she narrowed them to slits. Her ears drew back slightly, as she lowered her frame, her body crouching as she spotted subtle movement up ahead-it seemed to be something big-like a large rabbit. It was almost too perfect...

The canine let her tail stop wagging, stillness in the air before she sprung, the muscles rippling through her thin coat as she plummeted down on the rabbit. But something seemed to scare her--an unidentified skull of an animal, instantly she whimpered, stepping backwards as she inspected the human-looking skull.

A flash of PTSD flooded through her mind, and her police duties were fresh in her brain as her ears flattened against her head, the rabbit darting away.

Russetfang laid near the entrance of the warriors den, his eyes traveling along the camp through the darkness. He let out a soft huff of exhaustion, watching as some of the members of his pack left camp. Of course, the drowsiness was beginning to get to him, but he wasn't ready for rest just yet; with the new pups in camp, he wanted to make sure that all was well and peaceful before heading to sleep.

He followed the blue aussie until they reached some grass outside of camp. Cindermist followed her lead and lowered himself to the ground, his eyes spotting a patch of rustling grass about a metre away. Branching off from Duskpelt, he waiting for the perfect moment before pouncing on the creature. The beta ended its life quickly and trotted back to the female with the good sized rabbit. "Hey look what I-", he stopped, the rabbit dropping from his mouth. "I-is that...?" He couldn't even bring himself to say it. The male couldn't help but picture his two-legged companion from oh-so long ago.
