Roze is a quiet dog, one who has learned the strength of the mind can be so much more powerful than the strength of the body. She is not the biggest, the fastest, or the toughest dog, though she can hold her own under most circumstances. Instead, she uses careful planning to decide how to act. Roze is extremely cautious, constantly aware of what could go wrong and already coming up with a strategy to handle the worst before it even happens. She misses little, and believes even the smallest detail could prove useful. Her keen observational skills, quick thinking, and intelligence have gotten her out of more than a few scrapes. Though she is no longer the youngest dog around, with age comes experience. What she lacks in strength, she makes up for in craftiness. In even the most tense of situations, Roze approaches life with a cool, measured calm that comes only when one has a plan, and is confident in the chances of their plan's success. Perhaps her biggest weakness is her soft spot for pale-pelted dogs, who she finds quite attractive. She tends to think of such dogs rather irrationally, focusing more on protecting them and winning them over than on more pressing matters. There are times for flings, of course, but her protective instincts should be directed towards her pack before anyone else. Yet, they are not always.

Roze is a lifelong street dog, coming from a long enough lineage of street dogs that she no longer resembles any one breed. In her seven years' experience surviving as a stray, she has picked up an impressive array of tricks and skills to make life easier for her. One of these lessons she has taken to heart is the value of a pack's camaraderie, so when Roscoe came into power as Alpha of the Pack of Blueblood, she was quick to secure herself a position as Lambda under him. Roze has great respect for her Alpha, who she sees as an excellent leader. She is grateful for all he does for the Blueblood dogs, and for the home he has given her by extension. Roze also has a lot of respect for Rala, but in a different way and for different reasons. His hunting abilities are impressive, and she feels an almost-motherly need to keep an eye on him and make sure he does not go running into trouble. Really, she feels a fondness for the entire Pack of Blueblood, except perhaps one dog. That dog would be Bourgeoisie. Roze has enough street smarts to know an unhinged mess when she sees one. That vacant stare and monotonous voice give her all sorts of bad vibes. Roze knows how a pack works, and she will take care of Bourgeoisie like any other pack member, but if possible, she'd prefer to not be stuck as the one having to work with him. There are even times when she entertains the fantasy of swapping Bougeoisie for Smuckers. That poor stray with the pretty white coat is such a handsome young lad, and Roze cannot help but think he deserves better than solitude despite knowing very little about him.

Puma is a classic example of a dog who is all bark and no bite, not that he would want anyone to know that. At his heart, he has a mild temperament, preferring peaceful atmospheres. Puma even enjoys letting loose and being silly if he thinks he can get away with it. Really, he just wants to relax and enjoy life with some good company, but he quickly learned that one does not get what they want around here by asking nicely. That is where he employs his powers of persuasion. Puma is good at reading social situations and turning them to his favor. He is clever and charismatic, perhaps even manipulative when he needs to be, though he tries hard to avoid being cruel. He has a talent for diffusing arguments and finding a peaceful resolution, but he is nearly just as good at intimidation. If reason will not serve him, his imposing stature, glinting fangs, and booming voice will. Fighting is something Puma considers to be a last resort, as he does not want to see anyone needlessly hurt. That said, Puma will not submit or run away. If a fight really must happen, then so be it. He will fight, and he will win.

There are a lot of things to appreciate about the Doberman Pinscher breed, whether one actually knows much about them or not. It is not difficult to see how a poorly-informed individual could come to want a doberman of their own. Puma was sold to one such person. He was meant to be a status symbol as well as a companion, so his ears were cropped, tail docked, and he wore only the finest leather, but none of that was what he really needed. Money was no object in Puma's care, but time was another matter. After months of being nearly constantly ignored, Puma was driven mad by boredom and pent-up energy. He grew more destructive and out of control each day until his person had finally had enough. Puma was dumped out in the country and left to fend for himself. It was hard, at first, but Puma managed to learn a thing or two in his wanderings. By the time he discovered the Pack of Northtower, he had grown into an imposing adult, towering over most other breeds, and with skills honed by the necessities of survival. Puma was accepted into the Northtower group, after some persuasion, and he has remained with them ever since. It was a practical choice, but that was Puma's secondary motivation for joining. His primary was a certain rosemary-scented collie, with her enchanting beauty and untamed ferocity. Even Puma himself does not know where his feelings lie along the blurry spectrum of admiration and infatuation.

Rala's greatest love is the hunt. He has nearly tireless energy for chasing small animals. Indeed, Rala finds it nearly impossible to resist chasing small, moving objects. His tendency to leap before his thinks has gotten him into all sorts of trouble in the past, which is why it is best to send him hunting with an escort that can keep him from being hurt. As a hunter, he is focused, determined, and ruthless, but Rala shows a very different side of his personality to other dogs. All the intensity of his passion is gone, to be replaced by a friendly demeanor. He is expressive, articulate, and witty. Whether he is telling stories or jokes, Rala is likely to entertain all within earshot, which is not likely to be very many dogs at once. Rala speaks softly under most circumstances, preferring to focus his attention on a single individual when partaking in conversation. While no one is safe from his sarcastic comments or clever puns whenever an opportunity strikes, Rala is not the sort to grow boisterous enough to go about yapping his thoughts at the top of his lungs.

This young terrier mix escaped his backyard several months ago when he dug under the fence in pursuit of a rabbit on the other side. He has always felt a strong desire to chase and hunt, and this instinct has proved invaluable on the streets. Before long, his terrier roots were fully awakened, and he ate well on self-caught rats and squirrels. It was his hunting ability that eventually won him some level of respect among the Pack of Blueblood despite his small size. With the protection provided by his larger, stronger packmates, Rala is free to focus on gathering as much prey as he can find. The benefits of this protection do not go un-noticed, and he is very grateful to Roscoe for allowing him into the pack and making sure he is kept safe. As long as Roscoe remains alpha, he has Rala's loyalty. Rala gets along fairly well with the rest of the pack as well, at least to the extent that he has no quarrels with any of them, save one. He is not terribly wild about Vanya, whose unpredictable temperament unsettles him. Vanya in a good mood is very different from Vanya in a bad mood, and he prefers to stay away from her in case he catches her feeling ill-tempered.
