EXPLANATION:

Alpha: the king or queen of the Pack, in charge.

Alpha's Mate: basically the alpha of opposite gender, their mate, has influence, but not officially titled an alpha

Beta: the second in the command, can be either gender, future Alpha. Chosen by Alpha in RP

Healer: The Medic

Healer Trainee: Self explanatory

Warriors: The wolves who fight for and defend the Pack, the fighters.

Hunters: They Hunt for the Pack, oftentimes forming squads to do so, and join in a fight if there is NO other choice.

Mothers: the She-wolves nursing or expecting pups

Elders: Wolves over 9 who have served their time in the Pack well. (Keep in mind wolves rarely live over 12. Sometimes, but not often in the Wild)

Trainees: The wolves between 8 months and 2 years old who are in training to become Warrior, Hunter or Healer

Pups: young ones under 8 months old

Scout: The singular wolf that keeps watch for threats. (Fire Pack one is open)

Fire Pack


Name: Mattias

Age: 5 years

Gender: Male

Personality: Mattias is a quiet one. He’s incredibly loyal despite being a bit distant. He’s not as prone to aggression as some of his Pack, but once provoked, he will snap. He’s soft to the younger ones and wishes only the best for them. While distant, in all honesty, he fears the idea that he'll die alone and uncared for. That’s how he felt a lot of his life. Alone. He does his best to make sure nobody feels that way. He’s easily prone to emotions, most often negative ones, and will follow his Alphas' orders without question.

Backstory: Born in Fire Pack to a single mother after his father walked away, his mother passed on three months following the birth of him and his sister, who died a month No other female would nurse a pup that was not born of her. He was alone most of the time, and was luckily weaned off of milk quickly. He wandered, feeling alone and lost most of the time until he was declared to become a Warrior Trainee. Ever since, he’s done his best for his Pack. For all of them.

Lightning Pack

Name: Fish

Age: 6 years

Gender: Female

Personality: Fish is...an odd one. She loves rivers. And streams. And puddles. Anything wet, really. Or rather, she likes sitting in it, perhaps for hours at a time. She’s a general goofball, though usually this is portrayed by her... odd actions and a bright, cheery voice more than conscious thought. She’s not exactly the most intelligent wolf. Her loyalties and focus on her Pack are undetermined, as she’s so difficult to understand. Fish is incredibly social, though many may begin to doubt her logic when she proudly tells them her parents are salmon. That aside, she’s one of the Lightning Pack's finest Warriors, alongside her Packmate and playful rival, Ash. However, they DO work well together as a team. She’s a team player, for sure, and doesn’t let her emotions get the best of her.

Backstory: She was born to a loner female and her mate. However, her father died, killed by a bear, and her mother fled in a panic and didn’t return. Fish went to the river to drink and clear her troubled mind (she was only six months old) when a strong wind knocked her off balance and into the rushing waters. She was in fact pushed to shore by two large salmon, and she returned to them regularly. They gave her smaller fish of a different species to eat for a while, and made sure she never fell in again, and they TRIED to teach her to swim. As they were who cared most for her, Fish came to see the two salmon as her parents, though one day, trying to playfully catch them, just for the fun of it, they panicked and fled, and she ended up instead clawing and scarring herself. Whoops.

Lightning Pack

Name: Smoke

Age: 10 Months

Gender: Female

Personality: Smoke is almost a year old, but she sure doesn’t act like it! She’s exuberant and goofy and generally likes to cause trouble. She scares the prey, and eats more than her fair share of the prey that IS caught. Traits she shares with her friend from another Pack, Catania. Smoke is loyal-ish, but doesn’t know what respect or maturity is. She refuses to listen to those senior to her. Unfortunately, that includes the Alpha, and she doesn’t care if she’s punished. She LIKES making trouble, and is an endless source of stress for Shadow, who just so happens to be her trainer. She doesn’t much in the way of focus, and has to have a constant eye on her, lest she run the Pack into disaster. She’s social, but most don’t exactly enjoy time spent with her. She’s foolishly brave, though not exactly selfless.

Backstory: Nothing too odd. Born to the Lightning Pack to a she-wolf named Daisy, and brought up alongside her half sister Dawn.

Crush/Mate: Haha. Hahahaha.

Pups: She's barely more than a pup herself!

Lightning Pack

Name: Ash

Age: 6 and a half Years

Gender: Male

Personality: Ash is distant for the most part, but fiercely loyal. He’s a bit anxious, but does his best not to show it. He’s courageous and would give his life for his Alpha's sake. He’s more loyal to the Alpha than to the Pack in general. He doesn’t let his emotions rule him, but lacks extended periods of patience. Ash can be cold and strict, and isn’t afraid to hurt others if his Alpha orders it. He feels little remorse for dark actions taken. Ash DOES have a gentle and caring side, however, and this shows through when it’s needed the most.

Backstory: Ash was born outside of the Lightning Pack, and adopted by a she-wolf named Sariel, who’d lost her own pups to a storm the month before. She nursed and raised Ash, until her own death just under a year prior to the story's start.
