While in the mountains on vacation last year in June, I saw a raccoon, skunk, and a possum! The raccoon hanged around for the remainder of the trip and we fed him chips and cheetos (all we had for snacks). I even have a pic of my family member feeding him.

I had a close encounter with a fox almost a decade ago! I was attacked by it but it was incredibly pretty... for something rabid with teeth in my arm.
On a lighter note, I had the privilege of petting a tame possum! It was really wirey, like a schnauzer or a terrier without their coat stripped of the wirey hairs.
Probably my most unique experience was a wild seal in Canada! Being from the American South, it was really neat.

ok so this is going to sound weird but i was shooting rats (they eat are chickens feathers) so i was sitting on the fence with my 22 scope and looking through my sight i saw a antelope and then a small one? what they were about a 100 yards away so i walked down the adults ran away and after looking and looking i found a baby! still wet its eyes and head were huge! it was soooo cute and sat very still we left and the next day i came back and 50 feet from there i saw it standing with its mom i left them along but ya thats my story
OWLS:
this was a long time ago i was about 9 we have about 20 acres of forest and i saw an owl during they day well making a fort it was being very loud i followed it for half an hour (mainly in circles) then i found the spot it was going around i was looking up and i herd a clicking sound and then a hiss right were i was about to step(owls his and make a clicking sound as a way to scar of any threats kinda like cats) was a baby great horned owl my parents helped me do some research and it said " often baby great horned owls will fall out and clam back up the tree with there claws" so we left it there for a few days checking on it every day it still sat there all fluffy and kinda ugly but cute. so we took it into are wood stall in are barn we cleared a spot in the branches of are half dead old Christmas tree every night and early in the morning (because they are nocturnal) my older sister would feed it ground beef. (i was still sleeping

and had a bedtime) we named it Hoots one morning my dad was on his way to the barn and saw the mom owl swoop down into are barn and into the stall with Hoots she brought him a mouse! he became very chubby because the whole time his mom was feeding him to!!! after a few months he flew away but still lives on are property and we see him every once in a while
