-Falla-
"Well that was certainly fun," Alec said, falling into step beside me.

"Yes, definately," I said, half-heartedly agreeing. I was tired, and sore, and didn't really feel like talking. I just wanted to find my rooms and go to bed. All of these spells had taken a lot out of me, and while I had at first relied on my adrenaline for energy, the adreneline had since run it's course and I had absolutely no energy left.

I took a step and my knees crumpled. The world around me disappeared replaced by a council made up of seven witches. Here, I felt neither tired nor hyper. I was just there, healthy and fit as a fiddle. "Falla Elysa Hemming, we, the witch council, have called upon you to help the world in the present crisis," said a woman who looked neither young nor old. "We lend you our power to aid you towards success."

"What crisis?" I asked. "How do I help?"

"You will know when the time comes," said the woman, stepping forward. As I saw her face more clearly, I recognized her. She was the original leader of the witches, the one who set the Midnight Curse. She wasn't alive anymore, but it was said that the seven sisters were still leading us, even in their death.

She came up to me, placing her hands on each of my cheeks, cupping my face. "You have been chosen for this task," she said, pride glittering in her eyes, "You are the only one that can either triumph or fail. I know, that in the end, you will do the right thing." She lowered her hands and then kissed either of my cheeks. She stepped back and said, "Close your eyes." I did and soon found myself falling into darkness.

**********************************************

-Lizabel-
The man helped me walk back to the castle, my strength still low from the drug. "What are we supposed to do with it now?" asked a girl. I stiffened. She was obviously talking about me.

"Well," said the man, "when we get back to the castle, we'll bring her back to her rooms and compel her to forget. She won't remember anything, so everything will be fine. We'll have to have someone with her at all times, though."

What was this talk of compelling? I didn't understand any of it. And of course I'll remember everything, why wouldn't I? I decided to interrupt them. They were obviously keeping something from me, and I didn't appreciate it. "What's going on? Why do people keep calling me Doppleganger?" I asked, looking up at the man.

A battle seemed to rage within the blacks of his eyes, and then he spoke. He told me about the curse, and the items needed for it, and that I was one of the items. "So," he said, "will you help free us of this curse?"

"That depends," I said, thinking, "what is it that I have to do?"

"Nothing at all," he said, "you just have to be there."

I found myself nodding in agreement. I would help them if that meant that they would leave me alone when this was all over. "I'll do it," I said. I thought that it would be better to help the vampires than the werewolves. The vampires were so much civilized than the werewolves. Plus, the werewolf had kidnapped me. I would help out the vampires. Vampires--who were supposed to be just stories.

[What does this all mean?: Falla is the only witch that can break the curse, since she is now the only one with the power. Lizabel is going to help out the vampires, but she only thinks that she will have to show up to the ceremony and possibly light a candle.]

{Poor ignorant Lizabel xP and poor Alec...He thought he would play a part in it. Oh Olivia is so evil..I love playing her xP}

Alexander Bane

Alec notice Falla's lack of enthusiasm. Well really, how tired she was. Figuring she wouldn't want to talk, Alec didn't continue on the conversation. One thing Alec excelled at was reading people. He was just good at it. And it had nothing to do with being a warlock. No powers involved. Just good old human intuition. When Falla took a step and her knees gave out, Alec was right there to catch her. Cursing under his breath he laid her onto the ground gently. He couldn't see the vampires or Doppelganger. They had gotten too far ahead. "Come on Falla. Wake up." He commanded her. When he didn't get a response, his curses became more colourful. The poor girl had worn herself out with spells. Alec didn't know how that was possible since she hadn't cast that many but apparently the castle witches just weren't what they used to be. When she didn't respond for a bit, Alec decided to try a spell. They always worked. If you had the strength of course. And Alec did. He had practiced his magic over and over in his life. His power was much vaster then that of older warlocks and witches. Of course, there were still others out there who could beat him with a flick of their fingers but Alec wanted to be the best. Which ment constant practice and dedication. Muttering an awakening spell, Alec waited for Falla to wake up. Hoping it would work. Magic on other warlocks and witches seemed to have a lesser effect then it would on vampires, werewolves, and humans.

Olivia Bernadette

Olivia grinned happily at the thought of compelling the young girl. It would certainly compensate for missing out on most of the action. She hadn't been able to mess with anyone for the last few days and she was going into relapse. It was all quite boring. When Brigan and the girl continued on with a conversation, Olivia listened in, her eyes narrowing slightly. Studying Brigan she noticed that he wasn't compelling her. The ignorant girl was actually agreeing to help them with the ceremony. Well it would certainly help them it made things that much more boring. Where was the fun if she just agreed to do something? Of course, in the end they would get the chance to kill her but still. Until then she would be treated like royalty. Being watched 24/7 and all that enthralled. Olivia wanted to manipulate at least someone. As wrong as it was, Olivia enjoyed it. When she didn't get to for quite some time, she felt empty, bored. And when Olivia was bored, things happened. Scary things. People would slowly start to go missing. And then once she had her fill she would be fine again. The cycle of life would continue on. Minus a few lives of course. "No compelling?" Olivia asked Brigan, looking at him. Pleading filling her chocolate brown eyes. A look that would melt any mortal man within seconds.

Blair

Blair paced the castle garden, recounting her premonition. Now that there was no threat to her life she could take the time to memorise every detail of the vision. She took her time analyzing the lines on their faces and the slight accents to their words. There was no point in stealing the girl from the four seeing as they where fighting for the same goal. Perhaps they where missing some piece of knowledge or just needed an extra fist. With her mind made she left the garden in search of the male vampire, she knew she'd seen him somewhere in this castle before. His name was something along the lines of Bryan.. maybe Brigan?

-Falla-
I spun in the darkness for a moment longer before I felt a hand reach out and grab me, towing me to the surface. I sat up, gasping for breath, my mind whirling with questions. I fell back to the ground, all the energy rushing out of me. Somehow I knew that I had been woken up before I was ready, that I was in an in-between stage of acquiring the powers.

My eyes closed and I once again spun in darkness.

**************************************

-Brigan-
"No compelling?" Olivia asked. I knew that she was getting ansy, that she needed to do something or she would explode.

"No compelling," I said. "But you can help out in the dungeons, I heard that they are short on interrigators." I gave her a knowing look, then started. Her eyes caught mine. They were cold, yes, but underneath was a warmth like no other. Looking into her eyes, I could see into her soul. She was so beautiful. I had never met a girl that was more compelling. I wanted to stay here with her, to never let her leave my sight. One word came to mind...Soul Mates. But I quickly pushed the thought away. It was absurd. Soul Mates were of fairy tales, myths, and legends.

So are vampires.... came a small voice inside my head. I shoved it down, not listening.

Alexander Bane

Alec was relieved when Falla started to come around. But then she was out again before she fully woke up. Alec swore as he hit the ground. He wanted to hit her with another awakening spell but something was holding Falla under. It wasn't the right time now. She was under for a reason and no spell would bring her around. It would more likely kill the poor girl and just drain him then anything. There was nothing Alec could do now but wait. Wait and hope that whatever was holding her under was doing it for a damn good reason. God knows why, but he felt protective of the witch. It wasn't in a brotherly sense either. Alec had just met her but he didn't want to let her go just yet. With a sigh, Alec sat on the ground, trying to make himself comfortable. Hoping she would wake up soon. He didn't want to sit here for too long. But if Falla didn't wake up soon then he was going to have to stick around.

Olivia Bernadette

Olivia's lips turned up at the edges slightly when Brigan's eyes met hers. It wasn't a happy smile though. It was a sad one. Knowing that what Brigan was searching for wouldn't be found in her. Olivia wasn't ment to be with anyone. Those who knew what she did were scared of her. They respected her but only because they feared her. "You know it wouldn't work out Brigan. Not once you watch me." Olivia told him. Stating it just as it was, a fact. Feelings were a luxury. Something the humans could indulge in because they lived such short lives. But when you lived for forever, you couldn't afford to have such luxuries. They just hurt more then they helped. If Brigan ever watched the way she treated other people he would quickly find himself another vampire. There were plenty of female vampires who would love to have Brigan to their-self. When the other ladies saw Olivia speaking with Brigan they just talked about her even more. Rooms often became silent when Olivia walked in. By now she was used to it. After all, Olivia had been alive for centuries. Those who annoyed her past her limit would disappear. Never to been seen again. When Olivia was at her strongest she could convince even a vampire to do her will. Of course, it was rare for her to do that. When she convinced a vampire it usually involved starving them. Not in a human sense of keeping food from them, but not letting them feed. It was torturous and horrible to do to another vampire but sometimes it had to be done. Not only did Olivia stay away from others because of her personality but also because of what she did, she had many enemies. If she became close with anyone then they would use that against her. Olivia didn't need any more weaknesses then she already had. Hence, no personal connections.

{Just thought I'd say Annalee, I LOVED Brigan's post. It was absolutely Amazing! I regret to inform you however, that I just cannot match that.}

Blair

After hours upon hours of searching and asking around all Blair had to show for herself was some basic info on the vampire and his companians. The male vampire was a Mr. Brigan Olsworth who was around 500 but only looked to be 21. He is a prominant Lord and also one of the originals. His female vampire companian was Olivia Bernadette known especially for her brutality and beauty. The warlock was Alexander Bane, she also found out from a few of her connections that he had buisness in the underground. They where also with a witch she hadn't noticed the first time, Falla Hemming the castle witch. There was something about her that made Blair think she would be playing a prominent role in the breaking of the curse, hopefully in favor of the vampires. She also recognised the werewolf to be Vertigo Remey the actual head wolf. But even with all this information she still didn't have a clue as to where to find these people. Hopefully one of them would find her and make this so much more easier.
