The grass in the route rustles. As you continue on your adventure, a wild Vileplume appears! Strange something like that would be here. It seems like it wants to battle with your Rowlet, barely able to stay still. It readies it's attack, nice enough to allow you to go first. What will you do?

As you make your way towards the closest city, you find yourself in a deep patch of grass. The grass brushes your ankles, and oshawatt seems to be enjoying the fresh air. After stumbling around a little bit, you find that the grass looks a bit more squashed as you continue down the route. Maybe a large pokemon had been walking around here..?



Arceus appears! It's god!

the footprints really didn't do a good job at scalign the god of the world. everything in legends, every tale and story that christine had ever encountered did nothing to measure the absolute scale in both presence and size that arceus embodied. easily twice the size of the girl, the pokemon towered above her, looking down at her with a gaze that struck fear into the deepest corner of her soul. in a way, however, it was soothing-- knowing that she was face-to-face with the being that controlled fate was a relief when chris knew that the outcome of her situation was completely out of her hands.

"Arceus." She breathed, barely a whisper. "I-- oh, lord, I'm honored to meet you." Clutching the trembling Oshawott closer to her chest, Christine fell to her knees in reverence. "Thank you. I think." was this a challenge? was she supposed to challenge the lord of time to a duel?

"Are you... are you here to fight me? I mean, I can battle if you want, but-- I'm a little worried about Kali here. So maybe we cna battle but can we... be careful? Please?" rambling now, Christine looked at Oshawott expectantly. "Unless-- unless he doesn't want to fight. It's up to Kali, I'm sorry. But I'm also fine with not battling at all."

God Arceus looks at you thoughtfully. The pokémon nods it's head respectfully to you, and then backs away. Arceus does not desire to fight.

Kali looks nervously at you. It's not everyday you encounter god, anyways. Arceus stamps down one of it's feet and a small, shimmery bell floats over Kali, before locking onto a string around their neck. A little gift for Kali, it looks like.

Stumpy hurried after her Pokémon, walking briskly down the route. Maybe she could buy some supplies to get Flash out of his ball. There were plenty of fish Pokémon, surely someone would have an idea.

You can see a little stall of merchant wares and stuff- looks like someone set up a little town fair along the route! How lovely. There's a berry stall, fishing gear stall, some food stalls, pokeball stalls... almost everything you would ever want! Want to stop at the fishing gear stall? Perhaps.. they would have something.

Luxray nods and Nurse Joy seems to be very embarrassed. "I shouldn't have asked those questions.." she mutters. Luxray flicks his tail back and forth, sweeping a little bit of dust off the floor. Tepig stands besides you, nervous, as if Luxray could attack them at any time.

I trust you sort of, but please don't bite.

aaaLuxray slowly sweeps his tail across the floor, sweeping a bit of dust out of the way. I hear Nurse Joy mutter something off in the distance, but I don't pay quite as much attention to her as I could have.
aaaTepig stands beside me, taking a step forward, then back every few seconds as a way to counter his nervousness. "You can stand near the wall or something if you don't want to be too close to Luxray," I tell him. Tepig nods but doesn't leave and I mentally applaud his bravery.
aaaI hide my hesitance quite well in my opinion as I lay a hand on Luxray's back. I feel it stiffen, but it doesn't make any move to attack. "Um, this'll sting a bit," I warn Luxray who growls in acceptance. Slowly, I move my other hand towards Luxray's tail and begin to spray.

Spark applies the potion on Luxray!

Luxray flinches slightly, but waits as you spray the potion. The wounds on his tail seems to be magically healing, and soon, it was fully healed!

Nurse Joy sighs in relief. "I'm.. sorry for my behaviour towards you earlier- I've just finished my training, I'm really not used to this.. all on my own now." she murmurs. "Audino, mind passing me a few extra potions?" she calls behind her. A faint "auudiino?" is called back in response, and Nurse Joy's Audino places 3 potions in front of you.

"Feel free to take those along with you- you'll probably need them!"

The threads of the net slowly grow weaker and weaker as Mizu tugs and bites harder onto it. Soon, there's a hole, perfect for the pokemon to escape! Turns out it was an aerodactyl the whole time. Aerodactyl soars out from the net, grateful. Team Rocket yells down from the helicopter to you and the other people around you, enraged.

Deku calls out to the pokemon and to the others to run. Together, they all run as far away as they can, not checking if Team Rocket was following or not. Eventually, they make it to a spot where they think they're safe. Deku and his pokemon sat down on a nearby rock, all trying to catch their breathes.

aaaThe Luxray flinches as I apply the potion, but I don't stiffen, keeping my free hand relaxed, steady on its back. The wound on Luxray's tail seems to magically disappear and I grin at it. "All done. What a great patient you make," I say humorously.
aaaI stand up, carefully taking my hand off of Luxray's back and Nurse Joy sighs in relief. She apologizes for her previous behavior and I decide to let it slide for once. "It's fine," I reassure her. "Just try watching a pokemon's body language, next time."
aaaNurse Joy's Audino places three bottles of potions in front of me and Nurse Joy says that I'm free to take them. I thank her and put them in my bag. They'll surely come in useful later.
aaaTepig prances around my legs and I look from him to Luxray. "So," I say, "I guess we're heading back to the forest?" I wait for its reply.

Spark asks whether or not Luxray wants to go back to the forest!
