He looked over at the queens and the only kit Ravenkit there, he was not exactly sure if allowing them to the gathering was a good idea, as they travel to the meeting place could be hard to the pregnant, old or young cats. Thought if Ripplestar wanted anyone to go there, likely they had to.

She followed the other Summitclan cats to the gathering place, this was her second meeting in total so she was a little bit nervous. Though she was not sure if this meeting will go well or not, she hoped nothing bad will happen there, knowing how rivalry the Scoreclan leader and deputy was with Rabbitstar and Bearfluff.

Pignose chuckled at her answer and then turned to hear bearfluff's voice. He gave a hearty laugh. She was always so charming to be around. It was refreshing. He followed the overgrown she cat and looked back in surprise as she slowed to the back of the pack. "Why are you walking so slow? Doesn't this make you want to jump for glee that we get to play nice with the shore clan cats?" He asked almost in a mocking tone but he did have some excitement for going down there.

Blackpaw had returned to camp with thistlepaw just in time to hear their leader talk about going to the gathering. She had stopped her plans of trying to sneak out for more fun, as the thought of causing havoc at the clans gathering seemed like even more of a riot. She watched as Thistlepaw walked off without her. She watched for a moment before turning and walking away. She caught a small vole from the fresh kill pile and gathered where the rest of the cats were headed. Slurping down the remains of the tail that hung out of her mouth and watching with excitement. Her heart was pounding with adrenaline.

Goosemask just stared at the other feline with little interest in her words. "My mother was a medicine cat." He shrugged it off not really wanting to talk about his birth mother. He turned and looked out at the ocean for a moment and then returned his faze to her. "So... " He trailed off. "Why don't you go a head and run along. " He gave another fake smile and stood up to shake out his pelt. He had been sitting too long and the cold breeze was starting to sink into his bones. "I'm hungry." He stated bluntly to no one in particular. Perhaps just a thought out loud, definitely not an invitation to go hunting with him. This chatty cat was trouble to him. She talked to much and he already revealed more about himself than he wanted to. Goosemask sighed as it was too troublesome to head to the beach and fish but taking from the kill pile was not something he did and he didn't want to miss going to the ceremony. He gave another sigh as his feelings fought amongst him.

The sound of a familiar voice caused Cindercloud to turn, her ears flickering as he spoke. It was Pignose again apparently deciding to join her as the clan traveled. She turned to better see him as they walked side by side. When he spoke she scoffed at his comment, rolling her eyes. She could detect his slight mocking tone and felt a tiny tinge of appreciation for his humor. "Hardly. What's so exciting about a bunch of cats who smell like salt and fish?" She retorted, flicking her tail. "I'll bet you they know nothing more of the vanishing cats than we do and this will just be a waste of time." Her grey-blue eyes glanced over at the tom she spoke to. The time they spent going to a gathering could have been spent sending out hunting patrols after all. She was glad someone else at least slightly understood that. "Why are you back here if you're so excited to play with them then? Shouldn't you be upfront and ready to greet the first fish-face you see?" It was a very rare occurrence but she smirked, a mocking gleam in her eyes as she looked over to Pignose again.

Reedstrike laughed as Sagepaw bounded over, watching him with the large fish in his jaws. It was wonder he could carry it all the way over without stopping for a break, or falling for that matter. "Sorry I took so long, I promise I'll make up for it." He felt a surge of guilt at his apprentice's words. He was supposed to take him out, not leave him in camp all day. He'd make sure to stay true to his word. At his offer of food, Reedstrike nodded. "Of course!" he responded eagerly, his gaze roaming the camp to make sure everyone was settled before settling himself down next to his apprentice and began to eat. It seemed only a few minutes later he called for the clan to gather and begin their journey to the gathering place. As he rose from his spot he looked toward his apprentice. "Are you excited for the gathering?" That was probably a wrong choice of words, the gathering tonight was held for a grim reason. "Or rather nervous. I don't trust those mountain cats." He told him softly as he began to walk, gesturing for Sagepaw to join him.

Hornetshade shook his head with a laugh, so maybe Palejaw was scarier than he remembered. Then again, he wasn't exactly a thinker then a doer. "Actually, it's Hornetshade." he responded to Palejaw, his gaze lighting up as the tiny body stirred next to him. Tinypaw's words brought a smirk to the now-warrior. "Hornetshade," he responded, "I can't wait to see what name she'll give you Tinypaw." he teased, looking over to where the cats began to gather for the gathering. The pale tom eyed the bigger warrior again, scoffing as he remained acting like the words didn't affect him. "Please, i've spent moons wishing that every time I got in trouble. Plus, you wouldn't harm a clanmate, would you?" His gaze softened mockingly. Though he was sure if it came to it, Palejaw wouldn't hesitate to harm a clanmate. Especially him.

icewing walked beside thistlepaw and mapleheart as she listened to the apprentice excitedly question his mentor what the gathering would be like and what events would take place. she chuckled, thinking back when she was an apprentice and how excited she had been for her first gathering. her father had made sure that she was ready for the gathering 'no lollygagging and do not associate with the traitor apprentices from shoreclan.'
"i remember my first gathering, it was interesting, associating with other cats from the other clan." icewing said outloud, loosely directing her words towards thistlepaw.

Rainflower looked around at the others, sticking close to Crow-wing and Mapleheart. As an apprentice, Rainflower was quite sickly, not always getting to go to Gatherings. After becoming a warrior, she started going to them.

Sagepaw ate his share as well, though his appetite was still small. He happily followed after Reedstrike, overjoyed that his mentor would be taking him out to do some hopefully battle training soon. The scrawny tom nodded his head a little too quickly and blurted out, "I- I am excited!" he shuffled his paws into the sandy earth and added quietly, "And I suppose a little nervous.." Sagepaw hated to admit that he was afraid, his mentor was the deputy after all, and he was like a kit in comparison. He wailed inwardly, invisible claws raking across his ears, Stupid Sagepaw! You need to be brave. the tom tried to hide his wince and dutifully followed after the russet warrior, his green eyes wide at his next words, "You don't think they'll be hostile, do you?" his pelt tingled at the thought of the huge mountain cats starting a war on the full moon. The clan was moving rather quickly, and Sagepaw could feel his chest tighten after every step. He stumbled slightly, catching himself and keeping his eyes downward as his ears burned hot. Not long after his ribcage started to shake and he started to wheeze, his mouth gaping slightly to allow more air. "I guess I haven't been on enough patrol-" he mused quietly, though a short, angry cough cut him off as he had to brace his legs, the fit catching in his throat as his chest heaved, screaming for air. After a gut-wrenching moment he coughed again, clearing his throat and airway. Sagepaw felt dizzy, and his legs were weak beneath his tiny frame. "I'm alright-" he rasped, "we have to catch up" he stepped forward, determination coursing through him.

Bearfluff could see the tips of the great tree as they drew nearer, his heart pounding as he turned his head at an awkward angle to take it all in. His big paws thumped softly against the ground as he unconsciously slowed his pace, bobbed tail flicking calmly a Bearfluff tried not to portray his nervousness. 'What will Ripplestar think when Rabbitstar is late?' the maine coon shoved down the negative thoughts and forced a grim expression, his blue eyes cold and expressionless. The dense forest was split by an opening in the trees that led to a large clearing, and he pushed through the thicket that shielded their side of the clearing and gazed up at the tree, ears flattened against his skull. Calmly, he stayed where he was as his clan spilled in after him, the excited chatter still strong- he noted with a twitch of amusement. "Everyone may continue to converse until Shoreclan arrives." he weaved his way through the tiny swarm of cats and found Badgerbloom and Mothlight first. His blue eyes shone as he dipped his head to each, trying to start a conversation, something he hadn't done with his clanmates in a while, "How have you been lately?" he directed his question at both of them, settling down onto his haunches.

Thistlepaw's amber eyes shone in eager determination as he listened to the silver molly, "I'm excited! I wonder how many apprentices my age will be there!" his claws raked the ground and he fell in beside Icewing as they traveled to the Old Sycamore, a small bounce in his usually calm step.

He led his cats to the clearing where the Old Sycamore stood. Only Bearfluff stood by the tall tree, and he dipped his head to the other tom. Rabbitstar was currently nowhere to be seen. Ripplestar's haunches bunched before he sprang onto one of the branches and glanced down at the cats, knowing that the groups were smaller than usual. They all suffered losses. "Welcome everyone, to our first gathering in many moons. It's also a very important gathering considering many of our cats are lost. Hopefully, soon they are found. The clans need their cats," Ripplestar called out and gazed at each individual cat as they found places to sit or stand.

It was exciting yet overwhelming to finally arrive. Tinyseal hadn't been to a gathering since he was an apprentice, and he wasn't sure if anyone would remember him... he hoped not. Something seemed off, but Tinyseal couldn't tell what exactly was going on.

"i bet you'll meet and make lots of new friends. while these cats may be different than us, we are still of the same kin. my father always believed that shoreclan turned their back on our kind, and i don't know what the real truth may be, but we still must be careful and wary, yet all the more kind and welcoming." icewing grinned at the apprentice with hope gleaming in her eyes, "hopefully one day we'll have spirited many apprentices with the same excitement and gleam you have, but for now, we must face our problems and our worries about shoreclan head on and treat them with respect unless they show us a reason to not do such." icewing and the other cats arrived at the old sycamore, and she slowly began to fall into a memory.

the laughs and smilies among friends, the glares exchanged by enemies and cats of opposing clans, yet here they all were together by this old sycamore tree united by the gathering. 'ugh, icepaw, if you don't want to be eaten by a wild wolf keep up.' her father grumbled, already annoyed by the sound of the leader of shoreclan echoing through the gathering area. her mother refused to look in icepaw's direction and so she fell silent and her gleam and her excited demeanor vanished within moments. the apprentices of shoreclan watched with curiousity at the sight of the cats of summitclan arriving. some glared, others watched, and some watched with a mainly kind and curious demeanor, wondering what new friends and foes they would meet this moon...
