Moonpelt nodded slowly picking up the dead squirrel and dragging it into the shadows closer to where Bluebell was going to hunt. He dropped the squirrel's body into the shadows turning back to watch Bluebell hunt. He looked down at himself with a sigh and starting to run his tounge through his long fur cleaning the blood and dirt from the wrestle he had with the squirrle before turning his attention back to watching Bluebell.

Bluebell cautiously smelled the air... her ears perked, and stance ready, she prowled out...[when suddenly a bear came out and ate her....jk :P] while sniffing, she heard a rustle... the ferns quivered... slowly she walked over. an upturned leaf betrayed the mouse's hiding place. She slowly crept forward and pounced. The mouse dropped a seed, and ran. Luckily Bluebell's jump was too far, cause the mouse and her paws to collide on the musty pine needles... scrambling thoughts of what just happened filled her mind. She gathered them just in time to kill the mouse.

Moonpelt smiled padding over to Bluebell seeing that she had caught and killed the mouse. "That was a wonderfull pounce." He complimented wondering if she had planned her jump to catch the mouse as it attempted to run away.

Bluebell shyed away, and simply replied 'thanks, it was an accident..." She then started to eat away the mouse...

Moonpelt nodded turning to go and retrieve his squirrel from the shadows where he left it. "It was still a job well done." he said dropping the squirrel and lieing down to wait for their return to the temporary camp.

Bluebell turned her head slightly. "thanks. your catch was great. " she finished and looked at him. "shall we head back? We might have to play catch up..." she said looking up at the sky...

Moonpelt stood up smileing at the comment as he turned to get pick up his squirrel. "My kill was sloppy." He said looking down at his matted fur before turning back to her. "Yes we probably should not get too far behind." He answered not haveing thought about being left behind. "Do you remember the way?" He asked trying to speak without droping the squirrel.

"yeah, it's.. uh..." she sniffed the ground quickly... "um, that way... C'mon!" she kept a jogging pace all the while.

Moonpelt nodded slightly hopeing that she remembered the correct way back to the temporary camp. He stumbled slightly while follwing Bluebell doing his best to keep up while carrying the squirrel with his mouth.

Bluebell turned and offered to carry the other end. "I'll grab that side if you'd like. It oughtta make traveling easier..." She wouldn't take no for an answer so she grabbed the opposing end of the Squirrel. She continued walking forward, to better their chances of catching up... The scents were muffled but she still could depict where their temporary camp was.
